[Lilynet Starla]
[Location: Outside the Shirio Tsuki café]
With Batsu’s assistance, the students were one by one being handed their piece of cake, everyone seeming ecstatic over the baked good. Each slice had a students name on it, as if it was planned this way, and so there was no trouble cutting the pieces. The speeches would go on, as Zoey seemed to decide she wanted to next, but the timing felt a little off all the sudden, as Eugene wasn’t looking all to well. Lilynet gave a concerned little frown about this, but seeing Ms. Hakunae approach him was enough to assure her that she didn’t need to step in herself. It couldn’t be that bad, right? Lilynet offered her thanks to Batsu, half tempted to hug the teen once he was finished with this little task they were doing. He was one of the few students she felt closer to like that, appreciating him and when he was around, as he didn’t make her as nervous as most people did.
However, before she could get that chance of giving him a hug, Batsu wouldn’t get it just yet, as instead Lilynet was the one getting a hug from what felt like out of no where. Being the next victim of Katsumi’s mission to ‘hug everyone’, the librarian turning to hear someone call her name. It was Katsumi, and the bespectacled, skirt wearing girl with highlights in her hair and rollerblades had some rather sweet words to say to her. Lilynet was touched actually, a soft smile coming to her face when she was told she would be missed the most. It was a little strange, since Katsumi didn’t seem to come to the library all that often and she would have thought for a girl like Katsumi, that maybe the gym teacher, or Ms. Hakunae would be her favorite. But instead, the girl pretty much proclaimed she was~ A soft, blushing smile came to the young adult teacher, but before she could really say what she wanted to, the woman received a full, tight hug from the frontside. “W-Well I’m touched, Katsumi-san, thank you for such kind- uwah?”The hug threw her off guard, and Lilynet’s words were cut short from the embrace. She had no idea that this was Katsumi’s real intentions, but Lilynet found Katsumi’s face right up against her large, voluptuous bosom, both breasts pressing in thanks to Katsumi’s head against them. Soft, warm, and larger than any other female here, there was no wonder someone like Katsumi found herself allured to them. But for Lilynet, the poor, naive woman had thought this was entirely by accident, and her face flushed a bit brighter red, pouting like a nervous child as she started to try and push Katsumi away gently. She didn’t want to be rude, but she felt very awkward about this, even if the sensation was mildly nice there for a moment. “K-Katsumi-san, p-please don’t hug me l-like that.” The woman would put her shaking hands on Katsumi’s shoulders, starting to push her away, not trying to be excessive with the mount of force she used, but her strength still showing in it as Katsumi’s would find herself starting to be pried off.
[Eugene Ivon]
[Location: Shirio Tsuki café]
Even as Katsumi was giving her speech, and next Zoey was approaching the stand, Eugene could barely find himself able to hold back the pain he was going through. It felt like his chest was ready to burst open, and his head was swelling like a balloon, ready to pop! Never before had he felt such a vicious torrent of pain come to him in such a malicious way like this, and by now he was starting to fear for his own life. Students and faculty alike were looking his way, and he hated all of the negative attention he was gathering. Even now, as he was in such pain, he was worried just as much about his classmates as he was for himself, feeling just awful that he was making such a special day like this become bogged by down by his pains.
Still… whatever it was, he was frightened by it. The agonizing trauma only dug deeper into body, like something was shredding his insides, and suddenly, he rose up from his seat slowly, hunched forth as one hand clutched his gut and the other rested against the side of his head that pulsed in pain. The blond haired teen stumbled forward just a little as he did, causing even more heads to turn since he had stood up in the middle of Zoey’s speech. His symptoms got worse, sweat trickling down his now pale face, as he pushed past the table he sat at, before collapsing to the tiled floor on his hands and knees, coughing as if he was choking on something, wheezing as air escaped his lungs and he was rapidly feeling his consciousness fade…

The Hierophant
Persona: None
When it came to speeches, Zoey found herself a bit of an avid lover towards them. At least the ones that were sensible, witty, and made a statement. Random pattering on about good-feelings or political banter were poison to the brain. This however was more of a mock-speech done by a few people, and Zoey didn’t mind them at all. Probably because she knew all of these people. Well, she didn’t know Symphony, but she had to admit the girl was alright in Zoey’s book from what she had heard. Either way, Zoey felt like maybe, she should try. After all, she loved to talk, loved the sound of her own voice, and was amazing at coming up with some clever words or a good speech on the spot. It was why she was a radio host at her age; she knew what to say, how to say it, and when, and never took back what she said.
And so, Zoey stepped up, going towards the front as others were grabbing cake. She’d get a piece too, but not without saying a few words of her own. Sure, she may not have enjoyed all of the attention in person on herself, but it didn’t bother her. And so, the short statured, sage-glasses wearing girl would get up to the front by Ms. Hakunae, realizing the teacher was still trying to figure out what she wanted to say, before Zoey took her own moment, wearing that blunt expression of her own, but beginning to speak as she did. “Good evening, everyone. I’m sure you’re all probably surprised to see me partake in this, but you know what? It’s our last day we really get this chance, so why avoid it?” Though she wasn’t smiling, Zoey’s tone did come off just a small bit nicer than usual, as if she was praising everyone just for their presence here, even if that really wasn’t the case. “I think it goes without saying, that we should all be really thankful of Hakunae-sensei for putting up with the sorry bunch we all are. But you know what? As odd, unique, and strange as we all our, those identities are something we’re all going to carry on with ourselves as we grow, and they are a part of who we are. Zoey paused for just a moment as she heard the groan of pain Eugene was in. It threw her off for a moment, and she had paused, uncertain on whether she should continue. When Zoey was on a roll and in the midst of speaking, she hated to be interrupted. When she had the spotlight on her for her words, she detested anyone who interrupted it. But this…? This was something she couldn’t be mad for. If anything, she was worried, and she raised a brow as she paused in her words, wavering a bit in the midst of her words as she looked his way a second, but decided with hesitance to continue. “Today may be our final day as a group together, but it does not have to be our last-” Another loud, aching yell of pain came, almost overshadowing Zoey’s own words, and at that point, the girl had to stop. This wasn’t right, and she was starting to feel bad now. A small frown on her face, Zoey looked Eugene’s way once more, and she sighed. The girl didn’t want to leave him in this state, and someone had to help her. Ms. Hakunae and Lance fortunately took notice, but since Zoey had some of the attention, she figured -as much as she hated losing it- she would shift the attention towards Eugene, using her speech now to direct everyone towards the sickly teen. “Okay, you know what? Someone do something about him. He doesn’t look good.” An annoyed pout came from Zoey as she said that, bothered that she had her speech interrupted. Though she couldn’t just leave Eugene suffering, so why ignore it?
[Eugene...?]
As Eugene was on his hands and knees, broken down to a horrible mess, practically choking while he suffered in pain, attention was slowly gathering towards him. But, the second he felt a hand upon his shoulder as Ms. Hakunae tried to offer his help, suddenly… Eugene stopped. There was no sounds from him, he ceased to move, and he simply seemed to remain there, as if he had froze in time, and was no longer even breathing. Slowly though, a few seconds later, there was a faint sound from him, almost sounding like… laughter? It was subtle, but as Zoey heard it, she tensed up, and Ms. Hakunae backed away a second with wide eyes, uncertain and now cautious of this strange behavior from the student who was just in agony moments ago.
And then, as a shock to everyone, Eugene suddenly thrust his hand out towards the orange haired young woman. In an instant, his palm thrust right into Ms. Hakunae’s abdomen with the incredible force of a cannonball right into her, sending the teacher back as she was nearly knocked unconscious from the strike. The woman screamed out a terrible yell of pain, the wind knocked out of her as her eyes went wide and she soared aross the room, before she flew back nearly ten feet across the room, and ended up crashing into one of the tables as she was pushed aside like garbage. Such force seemed impossible to come from just a single blow, especially from the position Eugene was in, but with ease, Ms. Hakunae was now against the ground lying face down, knocked unconscious it would seem as her body was taking quick, shallow breaths as he felt like his lungs had every ounce of air stolen away from her and darkness overtook her for now.
At that point, the party was cut short to a halt at the shocking event, and the entire café had their eyes on Eugene. Some in fear, most speechless, the room looked like it was on edge from breaking out into a panic. And then, watching in feared uncertainty, the crowd would witness seeing Eugene slowly rise to his feet, his arms limp to his side, and his head tilting a little to the side. He didn’t seem to look in any direction in particular, his head slowly turning to gaze over the party crowd, as if he had opened his eyes for the first time on this world. And from the looks of it, those once teal colored, gentle mannered eyes he always had, now carried a vicious glare. A bright, golden glow emanating from those glassy orbs, he grinned like a madman at what he saw, like he was observing nothing more than sheep for the slaughter.
Then, the twisted and bizarre experience rapidly begun to change into what could only be thought of as a nightmare. Rapidly, his skin started to shift color, the once pale flesh fading to an abysmal black. The pupils of his eyes faded, leaving behind nothing more than hollow, golden orbs that glowed with a lifeless gaze. His legs began to stretch, the sickening sounds of his bones splintered, broken, and shattered as they changed shape. His clothing and even the flesh that once represented his human figure begun to drip away, melting away in sickening chunks that fell matted to the floor. The digits of his hands started to grow, outstretching into vicious, deadly claws, and slowly, the flesh that fell to the floor started to form around the base of his legs, a disgusting pillar of his own skin and muscle becoming a hideous mass shaped like a pillar around him from the waste down. The site was horror show that lead the crowd into frightened screams, and just when people were about to run from the terror, something else happened that just bent the laws of physics and science until it snapped
Darkness… In a flash, for just a few moments, the world was shrouded in a darkness beyond that of the thickest black. The screams of everyone around went silent, the surroundings drowned in a moment of pure silence, only a strange ringing left in everyone’s ears like a bomb had just gone off. But just as quickly as it came, the shroud of black had been lifted, leaving behind a world with a lack of color, nothing but grays, blacks, and whites, as if colorblindness had cursed into their eyes. Except, not everyone, and not every
thing.
No… there were a few still left with life. The world around had seemed frozen. The frightened faces of horror on the people around them locked in place, the world looking almost like it was one, giant statue, cold and lifeless, time itself losing all meaning. Nothing moved, even the people ceased completely, and the sites and sounds had lost any and all signs of being a part of the world they once knew, as if the loop of time had just been placed to a grinding halt. However, there were a few who were lucky… or perhaps not so lucky, as they were fully aware and moving, able to witness what had just happened to their surroundings. Zoey, Katsumi, Batsu, Seotta, Sypher, Kazune, Akira, and Kiyo were fortunate enough to have not been a part of this stitch in time, finding it still completely possible to move after the blackout. Their bodies still were in color, and anything they still had on them was not frozen in time either, leaving them lost in the mystery of what had just happened. Everyone else, they were statues. The world faded in color, as the rest of the students were gray, statue like forms left in the last pose they had before the darkness came. Each statue was smooth and gray, including every feature along the student still, but their bodies as hard as stone. However, two statues looked a little strange to the rest. Lance’s statue-self, which was left in wide-eyed shock and was running over towards Lilynet to protect her; his statue was cracked, numerous little black lines scaling across his body like his statue-self was soon going to crumble. Then, there was Seraphim. Her statue-self was smooth and perfect like the rest, locked in place where she was getting up from the table with Akira, just as shocked, but even angry looking at what she had witnessed. However, there was some color in her. Gray as the statue was, one could see little patches of color still, a patch of skin, some white of her hair, part of the redness in her eye, as if she wasn’t completely changed like the rest. Either way, she didn’t move either, and the eight young adults and teens were left being the only ones aware of this maddening horror.
However, the eight of them were not alone. Where Eugene was once standing, the hideous transformation he had gone through reached its true form. Towering at nearly twelve feet tall just short of the roof where the foreigner was once suffering now stood a creature of the darkness beyond any comprehension. At the base where his legs once were, a smooth marble, spike-embedded pyramid had stood, small gaps aligning it every half a foot, where a strange, murky substance of gold and teal swirled in a glowing mist, emanating with a strange energy. Where the top of the pyramid would be, shackled and restrained to it like it was his home, the upper half of this monstrosity of a creature had existed. Its skin smooth and dark, it was like the silhouette or a shadow of a person had taken form, only it was riddled with disturbing features that looked like it had come strait out of a horror story. Along it’s chest, a long row of smooth, sharp fangs existed, the mouth of this
thing large enough to probably consume a person’s entire limb or head on one vicious bite. The arms were smooth and patterned, the teal and gold color adorning each of it’s arms, as well as the chains shackling it’s wrists, as it raised its two clawed fingertips that stretched out nearly a foot and a half long. One hand instantly erupted in a gale force of wind, sounds finally filling the room as the group would see the green vortex in its palm. While the other hand crackled in a brilliant and powerful display of electricity, surging with thousands upon thousands volts that looked like it could have fried whatever it touched. Finally, along its face, those once brilliantly handsome locks of platinum blond hair Eugene once had was now scattered in long, spiky appendages, each undulating like they had a will of their own, writhing in a strange mass with a waved motion. And where Eugene’s eyes were, now existed four hallow, golden eyes, reflected off with those yellow, half-rimmed spectacles Eugene was fond of always wearing now duplicated in a manner that covered all for of those piercing, soulless eyes.
What was once Eugene, not had become this hideous creature that stood at the center of the café, letting out a strange, ear-piercing cry, almost like a mixture of anger and pain. Then, without warning, its right arm surged with a heavy gust of wind, and without any care of the destruction if caused, the furious, despicable monster had unleashed its attack on a crowd of the frozen students. In an instant, two of the ‘statues’ that were once a part of class 3-B had been shattered, and reduced to rubble and dust, and even worse was that it looked like it was going to continue its onslaught. And as if the site wasn’t a sickening enough horror to behold, the group would find a small, growing pain in the backs of their heads, slowly pulsing, like something was scratching at the back of their minds. As if… something was
calling for them. Whatever it was, the danger was too grave to try and figure it out, as the creature looked like it was going to be on a warpath, and obliterate all that stood around it. Though no one had a clue what was going on at this point, one thing was clearly obvious above all else. The nightmare had begun…
