I don't use my fanfiction.net account (I use, instead, my fictionpress.com account), but fanfiction is home of so many things that need to be sporked.

FFNet has been making a lot of improvements lately. If you've given it up, you might want to give it another chance. It's much easier to upload fics now because you don't have to do your own HTML at all (if you ever did), and a lot of fandoms are being divided into character groups so it's easier to do searches. On top of that, you don't have to pay to get stats like story hits and it lists how many people have your stories on their favorites lists, and who those members are. I love it! Now if they'd only bring back the music section....

question about fanfics: are you allowed to add yourself into the story as a minor character? not really anybody important to the original plot, but just an old friend of a character you'd be glad to be old friends with? 3nodding i've never done or read a fanfic, so... sweatdrop
