I have so many black roses actually, they're spreading everywhere in my town.

Oh! You actually don't get the golden watering can from Lief, you get it from Isabelle. To get it you need to get perfect town status and maintain it for 15 days straight, then talk to Isabelle on the 15th+ day and she gives it to you. It took me forever to finally get perfect town status but once I had it it's been easy to maintain, barring the fact I've left trash all over for a couple months now...

i have them all in patterns in certain spots of town. i know people who arrange them in a random order and it doesn't look too bad, but it's just a personal preference of mine.
