I've seen folks older than me, but the majority I see are 20 somethings.

I was 16 when I joined, and I am 27 as of the 20th of this month.
I like to chat with friends mostly, although I just came back from a 2-3 year hiatus.

Oldest I have seen was a good friend of mine many years ago. At the time she was 47, but has long since left Gaia due to illness.

I joined in 2005, and am now 35. So when I started I was in my twenties. The fun here on Gaia is the community and because it is such a big site it can take a while before you find your friends and place. I do enjoy dressing up, but if there was nobody to talk with, I would have left long ago.

I joined when I was 13 when I joined Gaia, and I basically grew up here. So now I guess I qualify as an adult. I think it really depends on who you talk to and where you post. I've met people here who have married children and grandchildren. On the other hand, I've chatted with kids who just started high school. I'm sure certain parts of the site tends to attract certain age groups.
