Welcome to Gaia! ::

Yuri looked at Darko and smiled a little ruffling his hair a little just to piss him off, even though she didn't know if it would or not. She took a small drink from her water glass and looked at the tv.
Crap. Saisha almost leapt out of her skin, showed how well she was paying attention to her surroundings. Slow tabby! Removing her hands from her pockets, she ran her fingers through her hair with a slight twinge to her lips in the form of an apprehensive smile. Drink drink drink, yeah, that's what she wanted right.

"Vodka, and a bottle of rum if ya got it."

A few bills were yanked from her pocket and placed upon the counter, a twenty should get her through the night. She had more if she wanted more.
Darko made a face and pouted. He blew the hair up out of his eyes. "Interesting these humans." He made a motion towards the TV. He picked up a small bottle of absolute and poured a little into his glass.
Yuri looked at the customer and nodded, pouring her a glass of vodka and gave her a bottle of rum just as she asked for, "Would you like anything else miss?" She asked in a soft sincere voice before turning her attention back to the tv.
"Nah, that's good."

Praise be to Jesus and the Not-So-Virgin-y Mary! Alcohol! With a grin on her face, she reached for the glass of vodka and downed that sucker within seconds. Damn that was good, next came the rum. Breaking the seal, she glanced about and grinned with amusement as she heard the other fellow's statement. No point in correcting him she mused as she placed the open bottle to her lips and tipped it back to swallow a mouthful of the burning rum. Good stuff indeed.
Yuri sat on the bar and looked around, Just as expected for the first day I suppose. she thought to herself. She watched the girl enjoy the alcohol for a moment.
Saisha's amber eyes rose as she bit into the rim of her rum, a slight raise to her brows as she observed the unsettling silence. Her inner tabby reacting to the silence as she tenced and locked her gaze upon the other woman. Clearing her throat [and releasing the bottle with her teeth] she lifted her head and licked her lips, "I haven't interupted something have I?"
Yuri looked a little surprise, "Oh no, of course not miss. This is the first official day that the bar has opened so we're just getting started. I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, please stay as long as you'd like." She said softly with a smile on her face.
["Sorry, my mood has suddenly soured."]

"Oh thanks, but I should be going." Rising, she finished off her rum and winced at how it burned when she swallowed, "keep the change." Hitting the doors at a steady pace, she left quietly.
Yuri shrugged and took the money then went down to the basement and began to meditate again. She relaxed her mind which was racing with memories that she didn't want to see, all the pain and blood.
Instead of returning to the bar Marikyo had slipped into her room. Looking around she frowned a little, then walking over to the bed she pulled out a blanket from the small bag of her possessions and after wrapping the flute she slipped it into her pillow case for safe keeping. Marikyo slipped onto the bed and closed her eyes. How was she suppose to feel now that she was back? Everyone seemed so different and she couldn't help but feel that she was the only one who couldn't let go of the past.

Her eyes fluttered open and Marikyo jumped off the bed. This was opening day! There should be customer, right? Darko was seemed to be as worthless as usual and she would feel guilty leaving everything in the hands of Yuri. Walking down the stairs she jumped over the last one with a grin. Marikyo then walked over to the Bar area and sat down on a stool. Seeing an empty bottle she rolled her eyes and looked at Yuri. "Darko isn't scaring off customers again, is he?"
Darko stuck his tongue out at marikyo very stealth like trying to get in trouble. He sipped his drink carefully enjoying the taste. He walked over to the front door and checked the mail. Sorting through it on the way back he found a letter from the city. He hoped it would be the papers that would finalize everything for the bar. He sat down on a stool and slowly began to read the paper only to realize that it was denying him. Apparently he had missed spelled something and some paper on some random form had been held back. Darko's head slowly raised to with an evil glaire. "Thats it... Im going to have to blow them up."
Yuri came back up from the basement looking refreshed and calm. She walked over to Darko and handed him the money from the girl last night. "So what does that mean for the bar?" She stared at him with a slightly worried stare, she didn't want to go back into the mountains.
"It just means that they are going to bug us. Relax we arnt going anywhere." He crumpled up the paper and tossed it into a basket. He leaned on the bar and finished his drink. "Came back to this place for some relaxation. To get away from the chaos. "Shoulda figured wasnt going to happen with these humans bothering us every step of the way."
"Great... So much for our relaxation... Oh well." Yuri smiled and stared at the tv thinking negative thoughts about humans and how stupid they are.
