Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Who wants to catch up with stinky old Darko," she said playfully as Yuri left. Then turning to Darko she rolled off of him. "You don't need to breathe, you just think you do." Jumping up she looked around and then walking over to a stool she sat down. Marikyo cleared her throat. "I'll be the first customer!!" Then smiling charmingly she battered her eyes at Darko, waiting for him to take her order.
Darko stepped behind the bar. "Well.. see my job is owner. As in I actually dont have to do anything around here." He smiled at her, "What do you want..." He sighed.
Marikyo giggled as she was reminded of something. "Oh right. All you're good at is burning down buildings whenever you get bored, right? Hmm I don't really care as long as it's not too strong."
Yuri changed the color of the walls from black to red to white to purple then decided on all the colors as paint splatters to make it interesting to look at. Yuri stood up and stood in the middle of the floor looking around thinking that it looked homey enough. She opened the window and climbed up to the roof and sat there stareing at the sky.
"Pfft, I only did that to collect the money on insurance." He pulled out a random bottle and opened it for her. " Now im going to need to see some ID to be sure that you are 21. Cant have us shut down on day one after all."
Marikyo glared at him and raised an eye brow. "I don't have and ID, you do remember how I am not from here, right?" Putting her elbows on the table she rested her head on her hand. "Of course, if you really want I could make one," she said with a smirk.
"Yes but then I would have to call the police on you for a fake ID." He grinned and leaned up against the bar handing her the drink. "Is it weird that all I watch is the news." He started watching the TV again.
Yuri made an anciet wooden flute appear in her hand and she started to play a meoldy of the dead. It was soothing and smooth. Yuri played with all her heart honoring all that died with this song, her brother and her sister and others close to her.
Marikyo rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breathe. "Oh and while you're at it don't forget to mention all of those people you killed..." Grabbing the drink she sipped it at first to make sure Darko hadn't poisoned it. As she heard the flute she couldn't help but close her eyes. The sound was beautiful and entrancing. Marikyo smiled warmly to herself, she didn't know that Yuri knew how to play. She assumed it was Yuri anyways, since no one else that she knew of was upstairs.
Yuri continued to play sending a strand of notes into the bar and it wrapped itself around Marikyo entracing her a bit as it brought her up to the roof. After a bit the strand disappeared as the song finished, Yuri looked at Marikyo with a smile as she held the flute out to her, "You should play something, if you don't know how to play I could teach you that song if you'd like." She said softly with a smile.
Marikyo opened her eyes and was a little shocked to find herself on the roof, although she was pretty sure she knew how she got there. "Mmm.. that was wonderful Yuri! I do know how to play but I would still love for you to teach me your song!" Ever since Marikyo was a child the flute had always been her favorite. Days locked up studying and with next to no friends her flute had been her escape from reality.
Yuri smiled and made another wooden flute appear in Marikyo's hand. "Its quite simple actually. Just start playing and you'll learn I promise." She said with a slightly secretive smile. Yuri nodded and started playing the song again waiting for Marikyo to join in.
Marikyo looked at the flute for a moment. She wasn't use to playing any other then her own and felt a bit guilty, however, she wouldn't pass up an opportunity to play beside someone. Nodding Marikyo took a deep breathe and raised the flute to her mouth. She listened to Yuri again for a moment before she began mimicking her movements. It truly was a beautiful song.
Yuri silently casted a spell to help Marikyo memorize the song as she played so that she would never forget it. She watched Marikyo enjoy this moment as she played when the song was coming to an end she started playing a different one keeping Marikyo playing with her. The new song was the song of dead flowers, this song represented all those souls that were forgotten and in her world turned into flowers that never bloomed. Tears came to her eyes as she played because this is the song that was once played for her.
Marikyo could feel the change in song and followed still. As she played she felt sadness wash over her. Who were her dead flowers? The ones that had withered away. Her friends such as haruka and Hatred, her aunt, her mother, her adopted family from what now seemed like a life time ago.
