Magic. It stunk up everything it touched, ran foul in the ether trails his kind followed and disgusted them with the lies it left strewn about. Not like them; they had achieved a state of perfection and openly looked down upon those who clung to children's stories and old, dead men. As much as it was detested they did not avoid it, instead they sought it out to destroy it, and make perfect all the threads of all the realities they inhabited.
The appearance of a tall, young blonde in the streets of Durem was sudden and accompanied with a building storm, warm rain disappearing just as soon as it slapped the pavement, wind whipping about like no bodies busyness, with a radius large enough to cover a greater majority of the city. From sharp, Prussian features his eyes peered out, lidless, hauntingly vacant, with only the smallest definition of a pupil, multiple crescents that danced in and out of each other, glowing against almost white skin, the flesh of the cheeks and forehead splattered with freckles the same glowing blue as the eyes.
Oblivious to the squall that followed it, it strut on clad head to toe in sombre black, a western over coat over black jeans tucked into blue soled converse sneakers, its movements were exaggerated, the human shaped creature was nearly nine feet tall, when hands moved to its face, they were long and snake like, twisting around as if the bounds of science had escaped them. The mass that formed the lower jaw was of broken mandibles, held together like clasped hands, with bits of teeth and bone to give the illusion of a proper mouth when it opened the space to speak or eat.

Two things had drawn it so far.

Magic; the quest to enlighten the ignorant and/or destroy when it found irksome and it could feel, smell, taste and hear a certain woman it had allowed to share a small connection with itself, and in a fit of boredom, it had come to seek her out.
Like a normal person might do, it had been told.

With a stiff upper lip, the creature entered the building, minding the signage with an unhappy huff. The jingle of the door so far being the highlight in its own mind, considering the door was want to close itself. Shuffling his thoughts away from the annoyance, it allowed the sight of the interior to infest in its mind, committing it to memory as he followed the flow of the books and enchanted items.
And here he was in the middle of everything, that he had no idea what was going on. All he knew from what was heard, is that apparently there was a kidnapping. He blinked and scratched his head. Very rare did either conscious here about those happening, at least not in the gaian realm. He would then set his gaze towards the woman who seemed to be shaken up. Her face, it looked so, void. He could tell she had seen better days. "..How..unfortunate.."The second conscious echoed through the constructs of the mind they shared. Twas truth from the lycan. The good, or at least good-willed always had some form of s**t luck upon them. Some see it as Tao, or the universal way of reality, others see it as errors from a choice. The arrancar, however, saw it as something that happens. Needless to say, something had to be done.

So, with a couple steps it made its way over to the woman, taking note of the boy that seemed to be running off and getting her tea. Such a fond supposrt system she had. It could sense the disruption of energy she had, it was kinda of getting to them. The arrancar could only imagine what she had to go through, but her feeling wasn't an unknown one. It came to a halt before speaking to the woman. Its caramel lips parted to speak."Are your injuries severe?" asking in all terms. He knew she was alright physically. He could tell from looking at her. Those injuries he could not heal. Her energy, however, was something he could possibly work with. He wasn't the best at it, but there was no point in letting such a vibrant soul fall into a mist of anguish. He awaited her answer before seeing how things would play out.

There were no more tears left to cry, or else Natalie would have cried them at Lexi's kindness in taking care of her and offering to take her home. He made her tea, and offered it to her. Her brain dimly registered that it was kind of odd that he was carrying a teacup on him, but this was a magic shop, and anything was possible. She used to know a vampire who carried huge cans of blood in his bigger-on-the-inside pockets.

She nodded numbly. "Thank you," she whispered. The hot tea might warm her up; she was shaking slightly even though it was hot outside and pleasant in here.

The wolflike man walked over to her and asked if her injuries were severe. She slowly shook her head. "Not hurt," she said. "My friend is. He's in the hospital. More worried about him..."

The door opened again, and Jorgen was here. Natalie didn't think she'd seen him in here before; she wondered if he wanted to learn more about magic, or if there was something going on at the cafe that she needed to know about. She was having trouble talking, but she gave Jorgen a small, very weak smile.

Tipsy Lunatic

Jorgen's attention did not turn to Nat, instead wandered for a minuet longer as if her smile had been missed; but when it turned it's body, it had a copy of the same smile she had given, in it's own grotesque way. The wolf-like man put Jorgen slightly to edge, so he hung back, but lifted a hand to her, and cocked the head to the side. It was this feeling coming from her that had drawn the Malpir out of its hole, in part, but seeing Natalie now, left Jorgen at a loss.
In typical fashion, the Malpir manifested a joint between it's lips and sucked and puffed, the smoke twining out no more than a foot before it twisted back in, bothering no one unless the sight of what it was doing could be that much of a bother.
The sensation of a heart beating was pounding in the false chest of the lanky creature, Jorgen wanted to pick up Nat and abscond with her, knowing right well that she was a magnet for bull s**t and now that they were acquainted, Jorgen was tempted beyond measure into the most insane of actions, simply to protect this friend.
"Natalie..." Guilt welled up, there was ample opportunity for Jorgen to hang around, and instead it kept to itself and plotted and drove itself mad by not acting on anything. So, was that it? Deciding to do something to help the woman. But always just as it was about to make a move, something happened. Maybe it wasn't meant to be, or maybe it would go horribly long like everything else ended when Jorgen was involved.
"There absolutely has to be something you will let me do to help you." The hollow voice drifted heavily from his lips as they splayed apart before it could stop itself, knowing Natalie found it disturbing when it discarded the air of humanity it carried on its sleeve.
"I missed you." It began to rock softly back and forth on its feet, head tipping down as it often did when caught up in the thoughts of what it would like to do to the world around it. What it would eventually do.

Friendly Explorer

Lexi pulled out a chair and sat down at Natalie's side, his calm, comforting aura offering whatever solace it could to her. He took in the other two men. Natalie was a popular lady here in the shop, as she should be-she was a delightful woman. It bothered him she'd been whisked away and forced to endure some trauma, and that was not okay.

He hoped Barb called on he and Alyssa soon.
The arrancar stopped himself from speaking when he felt another presence. It seemed to be coming from outside, and whatever it was, seemed to also have some effects upon the weather. Not surprising based off what he'd seen so far and who was around the place. His eyes wandered over to the door to see a very tall dude walking into the store. One blink, two blinks underneath his shades. He couldn't place a finger on the type of energy the man had. Either meant that it was very well concealed, or the man was using a power that the arrancar didn't know about, nor could he sense.

He looked at Natalie as she did her best to revive her bubbliness in the form of a smile. Still, it could see the damage that had been done, well at least in a non-physical sense. Its tail swished gently before blinking. As if that wasn't enough, apparently she had more to worry about with her friend. Such madness that ensued. He gave a small sigh before feeling on his crystal earrings. "Hmm." The arrancar said as it looked at Natalie. The 2 consciousnesses were conflicted. While the beast desired nothing but to let this woman be, twas the lycan king that opened a lone eye to this young woman's problem. Taking a trip into the constructs of the mind they shared, within the darkness he resided in his chains, looking at the woman. His only open glowing blue eye pierced her appearance before a small snort echoed through the darkness. Twas still a weakness, his desire for peace, more so for those to have it themselves. "This one..her anguish.." The rough, yet calm voice spoke as the eye close; returning into the darkness. "we shall destroy it."

And with that said, the arrancar snapped back into reality. It sighed and spoke to the woman."bare with me."It said as he let down the mental barrier that with held its spiritual energy. The air became denser, harder to breath as the molecules within it thickened and began to clump together, forming small patches of what looked like mist. It formed and flowed around carelessly before forming a circle around the arrancar. He couldn't trap all of it, but he could encase just enough. The energy that flowed around his body then began to condense yet again, flowing faster and becoming brighter, like a bright white light that circled his body. It continued this process before the air within the building was once again light and free. The arrancar took in a breath and exhaled. Transferring energy was a hard thing to do. Luckily as long as there was something to put them with, it worked just fine. He then gave her the crystal earrings, which now glowed from within, the light's within the building playing with the ever radiant sparkles that bounced off ones eyes. " Its enough to revitalize yourself and have a small reserve." He said as he watched her. It was the least he could do."You will need it more than i do."With that, He snorted before putting a hand on his temple. He certainly did give her a good amount. Looks like he wasn't going to be able to teleport out this time. Guess that meant he was staying for the night. But, maybe being in one spot was good for him. More time to plan.

Natalie took one ragged breath, and then another. She was in Solomon's. Safe. Nobody could die here, and there was no physical danger to anyone here right now. But that didn't change the fact that Reeker was seriously hurt--and would likely be dealing with the psychological trauma from his torture for the rest of his life--and the others were still imprisoned and probably being tortured even more now than they had been before. Nothing could change that, until they came up with a plan. Zephyr had made a mistake in kidnapping Natalie; she'd used the "meeting" as an opportunity to plant a ladybug there. But scouting took time, and it took energy that Natalie simply didn't have right now.

She was slowly beginning to feel a little better, but not by much. She didn't know Lexi very well, but she felt safe around him. But the images of Zephyr's fortress and its victims haunted her mind. She couldn't forget it. And for her friends' sake, she wouldn't forget it.

The lycan man somehow manipulated the air around him, energy flowing through the thickened air as he worked. Natalie didn't understand what he was doing, but she sat still, staring. Her eyes widened as she saw a circle of bright white light around the lycan, and as he handed her the earrings he had held, which were now glowing, he explained to her that the earrings had some of his energy in him, which would revitalize her. "Oh, I don't feel right takin' your energy!" she protested, though she knew she'd probably need it. "M-maybe I just need to go home. You've all been so sweet, though."

Natalie was used to the way Jorgen's body moved, and the way he couldn't always control his body's veneer of humanity. She wasn't always prepared to see the shifts, but right now they barely registered. "Sorry I didn't come home last night," she said softly. "Got caught up in helpin' a friend...um, can you take me home? I just popped over here to let everybody know I survived last night. But now all I wanna do is lock myself up in my room..."

((Kjd has permission for Jorgen to puppet Natalie out of the shop, because I can't stay up anymore! I need sleep. Good night, everybody! emotion_zzz ))

((lulz how much you trust Jorgen to not do any molesting <3 ))

A feast for Malpir, the energy that transferred around the unidentifiable creature that he was avoiding near Natalie. He watched partially slack jawed, the mandible hanging grotesquely until with a slurp, Jorgen pulled itself together, the temptation to reach out and snack upon the energy as it was being stored, it had the hands fidgeting on the stiff fabric of its clothing. The joint had gone out without the constant draw of its lips upon it, the smell of it finally seeping out, dank and stale and a bit of the rest of him wafted out too, whiskey and dirt and blood, metal and hot, wet pavement.
One side of its lip curled when it could smell itself, and the scents stopped, the joint smouldered up a new cherry and he began to draw again upon it, watching as the other creature gifted the earrings. Once upon a time Jorgen would have been gung hoe to not trust anyone, reach in there and cause a whole piss-pot of s**t, but now was content to sit back, knowing the power to change anything lay with actually doing something. This was nothing, as far as it knew yet, and she rebuffed the item in a way that eased any residual suspicions that it had.
Am I... jealous?
As Natalie spoke Jorgen rubbed at the lidless eyes, a clear fold of flesh engulfing them, to prevent the spread of the lit freckles, then had to a second time when Natalie ended by asking to be taken home. Directed in it's direction, Jorgen almost exploded in excitement, though he moved no faster, the air around him became electric, making hairs stand on end, "Oh man, Nat you have no-"
No! No, no, no! This was probably the worst time to start babbling off like an idiot, she was hurting and as hard as it was for Malpir to understand what it was they felt when using their Empathy, Jorgen had to start learning to control the situations by controlling itself.
Jorgen closed the space between them in one step, a gentle rush of air and a smear of colour as its body moved, that eyes found hard to focus on, and he was at Natalie's side, wrapping one long fingered hand around her's, glancing sideways at the one who had given the woman the enhanced jewellery. "Eee, this is a good idea, I will make sure she doesn't lose them tonight, eh?"
The other hand placed on her shoulder and Jorgen pulled her against its chest in the gentlest of embraces and thought of the Cafe in which they had met, certain not to draw forward a single thought of the space it had nicked out in the attic. It was simple to take another along, but, and especially since Jorgen had allowed Natalie into his own little world, connecting them if even just slightly, it presented the risk of infecting her, to turn her either Malpir, or worse, as was happening to him, Kjd.
But, wasn't this the plan all along?
With the thought of where they needed to go forward in its mind, Jorgen simply willed them there, the storm outside picking up wildly for a moment, then vanished in an instant, so that the world was still settling long after it was gone.
"Indeed." The arrancar said to the being, as he used what seemed like, Sonido? It wasn't sure how the man achieved the feat, but someone he was able to pass through this time and space as well, and alot quicker than the arrancar. He took note of the earrings that he had left upon the woman's body. They were of no use to him now, those crystalline earrings only allowed energy to be transferred to someone else, not the same source. So he shrugged. "take them if you wish, for your own sake, leave them with her, or split it 50/50. It is not my concern how it is used, since i can no longer use it." And with that he blinked and raised a brow as the man and Natalie vanished with a storm. Impressive, even small amounts of weather manipulation. What the hell was that dude? The arrancar shrugged, before realizing he was the only one that remained, so with a huff, he would make his way to the second floor and begin to search through books and archives for the night. When his energy recovered, he would be gone.

A taxi pulled up out front of Solomon's. Its breaks squeaking as it came to a stop. The back right door opened by Lucy's doing. She gave the cab driver some money before she stepped out of the taxi. Slamming the door so he could drive off. Lucy turned to look at Solomon's. She was happy to be home.

Lucy walked up the walk way to the door. Her suitcase in one hand was being dragged along the ground. For some reason she had found it heavy to carry. Lucy opened the door of her home. She walked inside. Taking in the smells of the store. She headed to the loft that Ross had built just for them. Time to unpack and relax for a bit.

Angelic Hunter

The angel sat on the roof, he had been there for several days. Silently meditating while the wolf was away. He was awaiting the supplies for the build and used the down-time to train. Despite being a cosmic, holy being, he was not perfect and needed to hone his skills. He wore clothes, which would help protect him from all the elements.

A rubber ball floated between his hands. His eyes were locked on the distant forest near Barton. The ball spun slowly, until his consentration was broken by the presense of his wife. The orb droppd and bounced off the roof shingles. He stood in the morning sun and jumped off the ledge. His feet lightly pat the ground as he landed elegently before the door.

"Welcome home!"

He called out as he entered the growing shop.

Lucy was just heading up the stairs but stopped once she heard Ross. She set her bag down. Turning around to look at him. She looked tired. Dark circles around her eyes. Her hair was a mess like always.

She walked over to him. Wrapping her arms around his waist. Her eyes closed as she pressed her head up against his chest. "Its good to be home." The lycan had been off in London checking on her daughters. As much as she loved her home country she hated to travel there. Plus staying at the Hellsing Corp was annoy as hell.Lucy looked up at the angel. A smile on her pale face. "Miss me?"

Angelic Hunter

The angel laughed as he pushed a strand of hair from her face. He had spent the first few days of her trip monitoring her by emotion. But he knew she was safe once she had arrived at her ex-husband's facility. Despite their issues, he still took her in as the mother of his child. This allowed him to take easy.

"Why? Should I have?"

He rest his hand on her cheek, grazing her skin before resting it in an affectionate manner.

"How are the girls?"

Her eyes narrowed at him. "I would hope so." Lucy gave his hand a playful n**. Biting his finger a bit before letting it slide out of her mouth. "They are good. Karen is still in training. Here is hoping that holds up for a while. Nice not having to worry about who she is torturing this week." Lucy took a step away from him. Her stomach was starting to bother her once more. She placed a hand on her stomach. "I must be jet lagged or something."

She looked back up to him. "How were things here?" As she spoke her ears twitched like always. Her tail on the other hand hung limp at the back of her legs.

Angelic Hunter

Ross laughed and poked her nose as she nipped at him. He was more than happy to hear of Karen's change, even if it was forced upon her. It meant peace, for as long as it could last. As the wolf winced, the angel slide his hand to her shoulder.

"Of course I missed you."

He hoped the simple jesture would take her mind off any discomfort.

"Perhaps you should rest. You look tired."

He made sure to dance around the words. He knew there were small misstep might lead to her being angry. It assumes hm, how small changes in a wording or inflection on a statement could start a war.

He focused back on the wolf, and gave her a once over. She looked tired... pale and exhausted. He both looked at her physcially and probed into her emotions and the way she carried them. It too showed the ware the trip had had, however he was a bit puzzled, as he was having difficulty focusing on her emotional state.

"Maybe I do too"

He laughed a bit to himself.
