Do not pity the homeless man, but pity the man with the mansion. The man without shelter knows what it truly means to be grateful.
Those who have to get by on life with little or nothing are the ones we really should look up to. They can't afford food to eat most of the time, and when you have so little, you really see that everything you do have is a beautiful blessing, and they are grateful for those things that help keep them alive each day.
Those who are rich, (or "the man with the mansion" ) have many things, and they become unfazed by their possessions. They forget that the material wealth they have is a gift from God, Karma, whatever's your thing, and become ungrateful and greedy because of it, often abusing their power they've gained from their wealth.
And honestly, quite close to nearly every single one of us living in a 1st world country (Canada, America, Japan, England, France, Germany, etc.) can be classified under the "man with the mansion" category. We are what, the top 10%? We take so many things for granted. Maybe we should stop and think for a minute about how grateful we really are.
My rant/fortune is done. :3
