LOC: A totaled building, in the SUV
STA: Meditating
WHO: I'm the team three vice captain, Sho.
OOC: Prepare your anuses.... and listen to this song on repeat while reading

Reiork was asking Sho where to put the rubble. LeeLee's team was dealing with the debris on the road. It must have been the gravity shift, the bright sun or it must have been not eating for a long time and suddenly waking up, but Sho was really tired. Next to the building was a small green space, so Sho pointed to the area, unsure if Reiork could see him or not, he verbally directed him as well. "To your right there is a green space. Pile everything there." The demon would have joined the others in playing with debris and rubble, but his mind was elsewhere. An uneasiness overcame him too, like his soul was beckoning him to meditate and find a dream, only this one time.

"Hey, Ralphie. Make sure anyone doesn't get hurt. I'm gonna meditate for a little while. Wake me if a void pops up or something." Right now, Sho was being just as selfish and irresponsible as Arc. Demons will be demons. He sat in the car and closed the door behind him, shutting his eyes and relaxing his muscles. Sho repeated a chant in his head, outlining his chakras and centering his energy. He soon felt the several waking minds around him, slowly expanding his radius of telepathy, Sho searched for a dream to enter. Nobody seemed to be dreaming anywhere nearby, so he pushed his radius until it covered a large portion of Sunrest. He finally discovered dreaming minds, though none of which stoked his interest. They were either napping dreams, the dreams of children or dreams that were just about to end. As his radius increased, he soon felt the waking minds of those in team one and four all the way across the city. He found that there, people were dying. Their bodies pushed them into a dreamlike state to prevent their minds from knowing they are dying, where they relive their memories until their life was snuffed out.

He found Persephone, who was unusually far away from the others. She was awake. He wasn't interested in her right this moment, plus, waking minds were useless to him. Sho decided to find a dying person's dream to enter, but in the process of doing so, Persephone's mind altered dramatically.

No... It can't be...

He entered her dream, where she stood motionless in a flowery meadow...

              P E R S E P H O N E the team four captain

As Loe, Milly and Kabe's presence mixed with those from team one, Peresphone grew impatient waiting for Jayin and Dexter to join her in protecting and gathering the citizens in the area. Injured people were scattered among the corpses of fellow citizens and vipers that were slain by the members of both teams one and four. She waved her arms and harnessed what wind she could gather, creating a small bubble to clear the gas blocking her immediate sight. With this, she would be able to find any survivors and lead them to safety. For the second time that day, Persephone left by herself without the help of her teammates. Assuming that they would easily find her, Persephone took out her PDA and sent a message to Jayin and Dexter.

              To Jayin and Dexter:
Sorry you guys, I gotta go off by myself again
I should be easy to find with Panda Butt's super nose
              See you soon

              -Purrs

Persephone traversed through the smoke, moving away from the others and into a more secluded area that the vipers left after the VHA arrived in order to fight back. The shops in the area had busted down doors, broken windows with glass scattered on the sidewalk. She could hear voices, hush and frightened sounding in one of the many raided shops. After entering, Persephone followed the sounds, calling out cautiously to the voices. "Hello?" She cooed, continuing, "I am with the VHA." She neared the voices, which were now audible and were clearly speaking a foreign language. Persephone entered the back room, smiling behind her gas mask after finding a group of unharmed civilians, huddled together. Naively, Persephone hushly spoke to the group of people. "I'm with the VHA and I'm leading an evacuation team, let's get out of here."

Before she could react, Persephone heard a creak behind her. She then realized why the civilians looked so terrified. Hands grappled around her neck, and she wriggled in an attempt to escape her attacker's grasp. A blade with two separate tines pierced deep into her neck, leaving the signature viper stab wound. A wave of energy rippled through her body and with a great shriek, Persephone generated wind within the small room and pulled it towards her body. With a concentrated blow, Persephone released the harnessed wind against her attacker, sending him flying through the wall, dying upon impact. Blood poured from her neck; it dripped down her clothing and made her feel dizzy. She clamped her hand around the wound, tasting blood in her mouth after feeling how big the puncture actually was.

Persephone tried to speak to the civilians, but only a gurgle and a mouthful of blood escaped her mouth. She tried to move, but her body was numb and sight faded to darkness as specks of black claimed her vision. She didn't realize it, but Persephone fell to the ground and blacked out. She was alone with her thoughts; it felt like a dream.

A field of flowers spread out before her. Persephone was scared. The sky was blue and flowers of bright colours spanned as far as she could see. The sunlight was sweet and the clouds were fluffy and pink. Something was wrong. She wasn't supposed to be dreaming. A gentle hand touched her shoulder, and Sho stood beside her, smiling a smile that was not one of happiness, but one of pity. His red eyes were sad, his hair hung low in his face. Persephone didn't understand why he was so sad. She reached up to caress the dream Sho, but just as before, she could not move. Her body collapsed and the demon caught her, bringing her to the grassy floor of the meadow slowly. "Don't close your eyes yet, Persephone." He said.

"What?" Usually when she dreamt of Sho, he was kind and played with her. They would run through the meadow, hand in hand. They would hold each other and watch the colourful clouds roll by in the eternal twilight in her dreamscape, wasting her dreams away though it was hardly a waste. He would kiss her tenderly when it was time to wake up, and she would go see him in the real world, confused as to why she dreamt about him on an almost nightly basis. He hated her in the real world. It was confusing. In her dreams, he would call her beautiful and talk about all the great things they could do together. They thought up elaborate plans about building a life together. In the waking world, Sho would often forget her name, ignore her and say insulting things about her being human. It was maddening. It was degrading, but no matter how much she tried to push him away in her dreams he would come back and give her all of his love.

"I have something to tell you." Sho ran his thumb along the contours of her cheekbone, gazing at her longingly. "I'm going to miss you when you're gone."

Her eyelids grew heavy and thoughts became less and less coordinated with each word he spoke. "Where am I going?"

"You're going to sleep." Sho tangled his fingers in her hair, grinning sadly as she grew drowsier and drowsier. Even though he wanted to tell her about his ability to travel within dreams, Sho didn't want to when she was so obviously dying. "I like you."

"I like you too, Sho." The words came out easily as her eyes finally fell shut. "I'm almost ready, I just need a good night's kiss before I leave."

The demon did as she asked, placing his lips upon hers for the last time before she drifted away from the living world. After his lips contacted hers, he could feel his grasp on her dreamscape fleeting. Persephone was dead, and once again, Sho lost another person whose dreams he enjoyed visiting. He disappeared, leaving Persephone's body laying alone in the grass in her dream world.

Jayson? Jayin wanted to blame how drunk Wolf was for that butchering of his name, but very few people here actually seemed to get it right or bother to care. Rather than kick up a fuss about it, he had given up trying to correct the big wolf about how to say his name- nevermind what his name actually was. He found himself agreeing with a laugh that yeah, it must've been a spirit with some real kick to it if he slept in this late.

Upon arriving to the scene the Mer found himself greeted with new messages from the captain instructing him to do whatever suited him best: civilian escorts or vipers. Internally he lamented once more about the flaws of human leadership, assuming Persephone was only human to afford this level of shoddy guidance. Rendezvous and coordination must have been for suckers on land. He saw Milly bust out of their ride and into action, debating which of his comrades he ought to assist. It'd be better to stick with one of them for back-up in case something went horribly wrong, which things inevitably tended to. However, Milly and Simba seemed out of the question since he'd already lost where Milly went and didn't want to risk being eviscerated while sneaking after Simba. After consulting his PDA and its local map for hospital and haven locations he decided on his plan. Jayin loosened the cap on the water flasks in his pack. If he needed to use it for bending he'd have access in less than a second, woe to whoever was on the other end of that torrent.

"Yo Dexter, wouldn't mind some help gettin' people outta this mess," he called to the Panda. He was already headed toward a cluster of buildings, and could see the silhouettes of sputtering civilians trying to flee the gas, doing his awkward-squeaky-rubber-boot run all the way. Despite the spare masks he'd snatched there wouldn't be enough for all of these finless losers, so he herded them out as best he could to areas with clear enough air. When necessary, he drew upon the water in his pack to make watery barriers to create temporary shields from the gas. While his other teammates gleefully and dutifully dispatched vipers on the run, he was healing those badly damaged by all kinds of hazards: gas, explosion and viper-inflicted, in whatever order of severity. Even while focused on mending, Jayin had the good habit to keep a sharp lookout on his immediate surroundings. After all, he was always worried about being shanked for his innards so it proved to be a very good habit to keep. This proved easier as the gas was cleared more by Persephone's efforts and team one's combatants, though he hadn't actually seen them at work.

His whole body jerked when Milly screamed over the headset, deciding that if Wolf's driving didn't get him killed then the little one's screeching would probably render him deaf pretty soon. Still, a void was going to complicate things in that area of town. Things had indeed inevitably gone very wrong, just as he expected.

"Got some real busted up people here Milly, you good to hold on for a bit?" Jayin spoke into his headset above the screaming of a man whose nearly-severed leg he was restoring, casually as he ever did while the bone snapped into place. Despite the extent of the other lacerations the guy suffered this was the only thing preventing him from running, which was all Jayin cared about. They had doctors and healers at the hospital, that was their problem to worry about after he'd made sure these people weren't fatally injured. He was waiting for their captain's thoughts on the matter, but she only offered a text to him and Dexter about how she had to go do her own thing. And that the Panda could find her real easy if they had to. For the love of the ocean, he offered up sincere hopes that team one had a better handle on this nonsense.

"Hey man, Dexter," Jayin waved the Panda over, standing up as he glanced around the area. "Still a lot of people messed up here, but you heard the little one. Then there's 'Sephone... just doin' whatever it is she left to do..." Jayin gave a limp shrug, waiting to hear his comrade's opinion while he patched up another clump of badly injured civilians, getting them on their feet as his magic worked swiftly through them.

                                                                      AnimeBlues

                  Dexter Marshall

It was a little worrying to Dexter that Wolf said he was glad he could even make it to the steering wheel, but then again the wolf furry had the tendency to well, be drunk. But heck he was the one driving, so there wasn't much he could do about that.

It really didn't feel like it had been that long by the time the vehicle had arrived to where they all should have been, though not without a few more messages from the captain saying they could fight vipers or help civilians, and that she decided she was going off by herself yet again. Dexter had only just put on his mask when Milly just up and gone rushing towards wherever as well as Simba. Well, guess they already made their plans to do what they were going to do?

Dexter hadn't even thought about whether he was going to go after the vipers or help the residents, until Jayin spoke up about getting help with evacuating the residents. "Yeah, sure I'll help you out with evacuating!" he replied back to the mer. Better to help out people than to try and rounding up viper gang members. Though, trying to navigate through the gas ridden area and helping Jayin out with the pedestrians caught up in this mess was proving itself to be quite difficult to the Panda. Not only was it incredibly hard to see, but he couldn't smell anything either thanks to the gas mask. Despite all the problems though, Dexter was able to help lead some people towards safer zones though he wasn't able to do much other than just lead them to safety.

Just as he was thinking that maybe this wasn't as bad as it could have been, Milly was screaming over the headset to prove him otherwise with the announcement of a huge void. Well that was just swell.

When Dexter heard Jayin calling him over, Dexter went over to the mer- although it took a while considering the Panda was literally blind in this situation- and couldn't help be heave a sigh as he listened to Jayin. "I guess we're going to have to lead as many people as we can to safety before the void decides to come crashing in... And I wish I knew why our captain decided she had to go ahead without us." the Panda sounded slightly frustrated as he helped Jayin out with getting people up on their feet after he patched them up. "I can't even find her by smell anyways with this mask on. After all we are breathing filtered air with these things on."

Dexter really hoped at this point that no one wouldn't get caught in a tricky situation with a huge void up and about considering his team seem practically scattered and Team 1 was around here somewhere. Fighting a void was the last thing he wanted to do today.

    Loe
Shortly after their captain ran off alone, Simba came out of the smog covered in blood. However, none of the blood was her own. She shook her long claws to flick some blood off before they shrank down to almost normal size. She caught sight of Dexter and Jayin and walked over. She clasped her arms together behind her back as if to avoid frightening either of her team mates. She was more then aware that her state was frightening.

"Well..You both heared Milly..." she said in a quiet tone. "I don't think I'd be any good helping people like this...but I can help guard" she frowned as she looked down the street. The gas had been cleared quite a bit, but what was left was still dangerous. "Most of the vipers have scattered off..." she spat. Despite popular belief, Simba did not enjoy the blood bath she just went through. Unlike Milly, she was more down to earth and good. She didn't like taking lives, but she took them without hesitation. She'd already learned that by joining a war she'd have to sacrifice her clean hands.

"Actually...I should go find our captain first. She can't be left alone"

Simba turned to run off and find Peresphone. But something stopped her. She grimaced as her knees suddenly buckled and she fell to a crouch. "W..what...when" she growled as she started feeling around her body. When did she get cut and where? She knew that most of the vipers liked to poison their blades. It only took one little slice to get into someones system. That's why she had tried to keep her claws extended beyond the normal length she found comfortable.

"Jayin...!" she said as she found the cut. A tiny downward slice on her thigh. It was so thin, it must have come from a knife that was dropped from one of her victims. She silently cursed herself. Healing her was going to waste time and energy. It didn't matter how little it took. A sliver of time could mean everything. And Simba was growling in frustration as her visions started to get hazy. It was this delay that would keep her from finding their captain in time.

The Mer offered a shrug to Dexter's clear frustration, getting the man he'd been working with onto his feet before shooing him over to the other civilians.

"Man I'm not gonna pretend to know that girl's head, y'know? Best ask her when you see her again. Seemed confident she knew what she was doin'." He glanced away from the Panda when Simba arrived, lifting a hand to her in greeting. An exceptionally bloody, very red Simba that caused his brow to crease as he got a better look and faced her directly to assess any damage. How did she even manage to get that blood-soaked? He knew the little warrior worked on the melee side of combat, but this was quite a liberal coating of red.

With the news that most vipers had apparently scattered, that brought some relief. More hands could focus on the large void Milly discovered or do something with these civilians. Just as suddenly as she'd volunteered to help guard, Simba was announcing she ought to find Persephone instead. He didn't even have time to thank her or suggest a different plan before she took off and then... effectively dropped into a crouch. He didn't even wait for her to call out to him before he was at her side, jogging over with alarm as he drew upon his magic. It didn't take any time at all to realize that the slash was crippling her with some form of poison as he crouched down beside her.

"Hey now, don't get your tail in a twist. Not gonna find any captain with your face on the pavement." Jayin pulled his magic swiftly toward the injury Simba had indicated, steadying her with one hand on the least blood-splattered place he could find. He concentrated that energy to flush the toxins out of her system, and regardless of her opinion about water, cleaned the surrounding area to prevent any further contamination. He showed more attention to his comrade than the people of the city, but didn't drag it out. In only seconds he was finished, taking his hand off her and standing up. More than anything he had a feeling running around the city all day was going to tire him out more than these healing efforts. The injuries he'd seen so far weren't taxing on his strength.

"You're good, but I can't really leave these guys to their own," Jayin gave a nod toward the civilians waiting for his escort. He wasn't going to stop her from chasing Persephone, but he'd much rather be accompanying Simba than working with the disorganized, easily panicked two-legged losers he'd rounded up thus far. When he first sought out the VHA, he expected to be doing direct combat against the void: not playing nanny and peacekeeper for gangs.

"Dexter, feel like givin' Simba some back-up? I've got this. Besides, we got headsets, call me if you need somethin' with co-ordinates. I'm not psychic." Jayin offered a lop-sided smirk to the Panda, briskly heading back to get the people moving along to their destination.

                                                                      The Yuffie

Eliza entered the large car along with her new teammates. They weren't the chattiest bunch, or maybe they just weren't interested in speaking with her. Either way, it did not matter. Within her first hour of active VHA duty, she had reunited with a friend she had thought had died, and has gone off for her first mission. Upon finding out that that mission was a cleanup mission, her excitement had gone down. She was built for specialized missions that included tactics and espionage. She had successfully assassinated countless dictators, disarmed dozens of weapons of mass destruction, hunted down rare and wonderful creatures, all for the good of dozens of different kinds of creatures, and here she was: on cleanup duty. It was not exactly her forte.

Their driver, a spry girl named Annabeth, drove quickly and deliberately. Eliza had hardly any time to look out the winder and enjoy the ruins of the city. That, of course, was but an exaggeration. Sure, there were a few downed buildings, but the city was better than most. She assumed that was due to the VHA in the area. Many of the files that she had read on her team, and on the other teams for that matter, had shown that all of them were capable in a series of fields. Team One, in her opinion, carried the most overall physical power. Their strength is likely why they were chosen to take down the disturbance caused by the Viper Gang somewhere else in the city. Team Two was team Girl Power. All, save for their golem, were women, which Eliza found amusing. Her team had a good balance of supportive abilities, and combat skills. Team Three's abilities were simply astonishing. Not only did they have the best in reconnaissance, what with their Captain, Vice Captain, and their Scout, they also had insane abilities from the rest of their crew. From gravitational powers, to shadow manipulation, to control over nature, to the plethora of magical runes Reiork could devise. Now Team Four was different. They didn't have anyone overly powerful, but all of them seemed capable. They looked young and Eliza assumed their team was only recently properly established.

Eliza thought all this and more as the car slowed to a halt at the mission sight. Already, Team Three had gotten to work, showing off the power they had. She removed herself from her seat and out on the pavement.

"Ma'am?" Eliza said as she neared her captain. "I don't want to sound like I'm trying to ditch work on my first day, but there is very little a human like me could do here." she said, exasperated. "Miss-Ugh, I mean, Eliza!" Reiork yelled as he waved one arm in the air. He pushed around the boulder that floated only an inch off the ground as though it had weighed nothing as he waved her over to where he was. "On second thought, I'll be over there." She said as she pointed in Reiork's direction. She jogged over to him and then tied her. "Let's get to work, shall we?" Reiork nodded as he drew another rune on a large piece of debris by their side.

    Leelee
LeeLee glanced over as her vice captain came over to her. She listened quietly, but she raised an eyebrow. "Very little a human like you could do...?" she repeated the girls words. It was clear that LeeLee disproved of her behavior. She would have even gotten a talking to from the girl, if Reiork hadn't saved her in time. Instead she crossed her arms as she briefly watched the girl go over to the man. She glanced over to see Peppermint staring openly at the too as a rock floated by and got a little too close to a pole.

"Hey, Peppermint! Focus!" LeeLee shouted to her, causing the girl to jolt a bit and shake her head. She turned back to her work and LeeLee went back to her own thing. But the sudden spring of plant life caught LeeLee's attention. She could feel it before she saw it and went in that direction to find Lu using plants to crumble the stone into dust.

"Hey" LeeLee said as she climbed up onto a bolder and looked over at the elf. A tiny smile lit LeeLee's face. She knew most people seemed annoyed at their job, but she could see why they were doing it. If the roads weren't clear it could cause trouble later. That included getting to void attacks faster.

"I like your way of doing things" she said as she sat herself down on a rock and held out a hand towards the plant life. She added her energy to the plants Lu was growing, causing the plants to speed up and grow stronger. With their combined strengths, it made the process a lot easier.

    Peppermint
Peppermint was openly staring at Eliza and Reiork again. She seemed too friendly with him. Were they good friends? Did they have a past together. Peppermint wanted that too. How could she achieve what Eliza had? Peppermint was very puzzled over the strange emotion she was having. But just as she was pondering going over there to ask Reiork and see if he had an idea, LeeLee called out to her.

Standing up right, she noticed her boulder was getting a bit too close to one of the few poles that had not been knocked over. She reached her arms up to gently slow the boulder down, and had to slightly bend gravity to avoid the pole. But once she had correct the path, she kicked off the ground again and floated on her back towards a large truck that was made to carry heavy boulders. She stared up blankly at the boulder floating above her. If her power were to give out for any reason, she would be crushed to death. However, Peppermint wasn't concerned.

As she reached her destination, she carefully lowered the boulder and then glanced back at Eliza and Reiork again. He was using his rune magic to make boulders light weight as well. Just the fact that they were both using some form of gravity magic made Peppermint feel jittery. Was that a good thing? Still, that girl was over there. Peppermint wanted to go help Reiork too. Unfortunately, there was no reason for her to be over there. He had his own magic to move boulders. She was more useful staying in her area making everything light weight for those who did not have a large amount of strength.

'I want to switch places with her...' she thought, trying to wave off the rather icky feeling she was getting. Was it from someone else, or herself? She was picking up on some rather horrible emotions from the car that her vice captain was in, but that definitely wasn't the same emotions Peppermint was feeling. Her cheeks puffed out a bit as she floated on back to her area. She was very unfamiliar with the feelings of jealousy.

✺They call me The Big Boss

Air was sucked in between chapped lips and clenched teeth. Chapped lips? No. Try burned. In and out, went the the air. The taste was smoky and, on its way outwards, would smell of death and yes, of burnt flesh. Over and over again the air went. Demons did not particularly needed that much air, but it was refreshing to Arc Browne. The Big Boss, they called him. At least, they did, in the war-torn lands of the underworld. Arc was the standard-bearer there. He led his kin to victory and beyond. Their general rode a horse of fire. Ironic how fire would be the same fate that brought him down.

"No!" Arc yelled out in defiance. He would not be resigned to reminiscence. He was better than that, at least.

Arc paced the concrete roof of the gray building. Being probably about twenty stories high, the air was lighter, cleaner. It helped people, anyone really, clear their minds. It helped them think. Arc was not interested in thinking. He did not want to remember. Arc had never truly experienced pain, that is, not until that night. He had been in battle after battle, war after war, but never, never had he experienced pain like that.

He shook his head as he grabbed his mask and tore it off. Beneath lay the make of nightmares. Freddy Krueger would have shook in fear standing in the presence of this God of Hate. Most did not know, nor cared for that matter, that Arc's entire body was pure pain. Every single inch of skin was burned. His wings, or what was left of them, bled. There was not a day that went by that Arc did not smell the blood on his body, and at times, he had feared for his soul. For his very soul. He was not proud; he did not gain pleasure from his pain. He was wounded, and forever will be.

He gasped for air between his rotten, yellow teeth. It stung his lungs, but it was refreshing. He replaced the mask on his face and walked to the edge of the building. Far below him, his team, and that of Leelee's, were hard at work. He grinned. There were at least some small pleasures that the creator had allowed him. If there was a creator, that is. With the discovery of the dozens upon dozens of surfacing races, no one knew how to take religion anymore. What was real, what wasn't. Not much mattered when every day was a struggle for the survival of all that lived and breathed.

Arc watched Peppermint as she watched Reiork. Though he often did not even check his PDA, Arc took it out of his pocket and voted (and "hearted") the ship for the two. Both were oddballs and Arc had grown a soft spot for them in the past few months. He shook his head, smiling to himself, as he put the PDA back in his pocket. Love seemed like such a distant concept to him now. It had only been a year since he had lost his, and yet it felt like a lifetime ago. A year was not long to a demon. It was but a second in their lives. But this year had gone so fast. He had been a captain for so long now, it almost felt second nature to actually care for his units.

It was disconcerting how often these attacks had become. Last month, they had had only eight at the most. Now? Now they were at three, and it was only the fourth day of a cloudless June. The voids have grown bolder, fiercer. Soon enough, the city, and the world, would be overrun if the VHA could not find some way to stop them.

As if waiting for the queue, Peppermint's power released another large boulder from its dusty socket, and Arc sensed what had hidden beneath. Four small voids quickly flew out. Though each were small in their own right, each was a threat. Though truly Arc had hated them, his heart paced faster and faster as they got on the street. Already hissing through the sky, four bolts of flame engulfed the four invisible beings. Arc grinned wildly as the flame consumed them. Those were his fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh void kills of the day. When he had first arrived in the mission site, he had dispatched three others. Sure, none of them were of notable size, but all void kills mattered to him.

His gun was in his hand, smoking from those last shots, but his joy would soon disappear. Out of the same hole the four had come from, a huge void clawed its way out. Its essence was powerful. Maybe even enough to consume Arc in mere minutes. Two more bolts of flame shot from the gun in Arc's hands and hit the void cleanly. The void burned, but persisted.

"Void!" Arc yelled out. "Aim for the fire!" The fire that Arc had latched onto the beast held true, marking the void for what it was. To the others, it would have seemed the fire floated in midair, but the void was powerful. It's aura was strong. It waved to and fro and for once in his damnable life, Arc worried for his team.

                  Dexter Marshall

Dexter nodded slightly as Jayin talked about how he wasn't going to pretend to understand what their Captain was thinking and how it would just be better to ask what she was thinking when they saw each other again. It made a ton of sense to just up and ask Persephone what in the world she was thinking running off alone constantly. "Yeah. I'll be sure to... Ask her some things once she decides to show herself again."

It was around this time that Simba had come walking over to them, though Dexter didn't realize it until she started talking. Dexter looked over at and went to greet her, only to pause slightly in his greeting when he realized how... Er. Bloody she was. Yikes was she bloody.

Other than her bloodied up body, it seemed as though Simba had some good news that the vipers had just scattered. That was good, Dexter seriously didn't want to deal with the viper gang when there was a void running amok and people suffering from the gang's smoke and general ruckus. When Simba announced that she was going to try to find Persephone, Dexter was going to ask if he could come along but it seemed like the girl had other plans as she tried to bolt off, only to then just fall over. While this did alarm the Panda and he felt he should rush over to his friend, he decided it would be best to stay where he was and make sure no civilians were going to freak out. After all they were probably pretty railed up and Jayin had a hold of the situation with Simba.

Thank goodness it didn't take the mer too long to help out Simba with her injury, though the next thing he knew Jayin was suggesting he go with Simba to back her up with finding their leader. "Of course I'll back her up. Besides, I think we can knock some common sense into the captain once we find her, right Simba?" Dexter couldn't help but let out a snicker when Jayin mentioned the headsets and not being psychic. "Yeah, yeah, of course I'll be sure to use my headset if something pops up! Be sure to use yours as well instead of hoping I suddenly can smell you through a gas mask."

Dexter made sure to go over to Simba and made sure that she was in visible range for him; even though the smoke has been clearing up it was still difficult for him to really make out what he was seeing. "Whenever you're ready to go Simba, I'll follow."

    Void
All the commotion in China town stirred up a few voids that had been eating their way through the ground bellow. Shortly after the large and deadly gas bomb had erupted, two large voids broke through the ground. They were each roughly the size of a van and they withed around as they took shape. One remained in a blobby shape with tentacles reaching out to grab at things. It turns its attention towards the sound of a cry from Milly, and went racing at her. The other void seemed to take interest in the the shops and made its way there and moved through the China shops, beginning to erase anything it found.

    Loe
Despite her annoyance, Simba sat still like a good girl. She was known to get a bit defensive, much like a wild animal, when she was in a wounded state. But it was such a small wound that she could get herself to behave. But Jayin's healing felt really comforting. Simba had grown use to him and would almost always accept his help when wounded. Although, she was still a huge pain in the a** to anyone else who tried to help her when she was hurt. Her instincts just told her to not let people get near when she was weak.

As the nasty feelings went away, her vision returned and she stood up after a moment. "Thank you Jayin. Very sorry for the trouble" she said quietly before glancing to Dexter. "That sounds like a good idea. You holler if anything happens Jayin. I'll come running back if you find yourself in trouble" she said with a frown as her hand moved to hold her arm and was met with the feeling of drying blood on her fur. She did not like her state of cleanliness at all.

Turning, Simba started trotting back into the smoke, her ears were tuned in on Dexter's steps to make sure they were still close by each other. "As long as her PDA wasn't broken, we should be able to find her by following the tracker on it" she said to Dexter as she pulled out her PDA. Sure enough, the marker for their captain continued to blink on the map. She followed that dot to a shop with small broken windows and gas masks laying outside the shop.

Simba crouched down and picked up a few of the gas masks. "She didn't take these inside?" she asked as she pushed open the door. She paused as she caught sight of a broken wall and a crush body. "Persephone? Persephone you there?" Simba called before crouching down to examine the body closer.

"It's a viper.." she said before looking up, her ears twitched as she caught sounds. "I hear people. Dexter" she said as she looked to him to go investigate while she checked the body. She found a blood stained knife nearby. That couldn't be a good sign. Simba had a bad feeling about this. She'd stand up after a few moments to go and see what Dexter found. Although she was sure it probably wasn't going to be good.

"Thank you, Seraphim." Justice would let out for letting him know what was going on with his team. Anything that would have sounded rude to others, seemed normal and worth noting to the Golem who didn't understand emotions very well. Right now he knew he was feeling grateful. Grateful that his team was alright for the time being. Though he also felt frustrated. Frustrated that it took him so long to arrive on scene.

As Justice arrived on scene he noticed fireballs shooting down from the top of a large ruined building. A sense of worry and dread washed over him. He still had a ways to go to be of real combat use. Was it a void? Had one appeared? Was everyone ok? Questions swarmed his mind as he noticed the large ball of fire that didn't seem to be consuming anything at all. Is that it? Justice wondered as he stopped for a moment, just with in Peppermint's gravitational field and tried to pick up a large cement slab to chunk from far away.

At least that was his plan. Instead, the large cement slab flew straight up into the air. Justice watched it for a moment and then looked down to his own arms in a bit of confusion. The cement slab continued to go up higher and higher until it just couldn't be seen anymore by the naked eye. Getting his head back on track, Justice jogged forward a bit to grab a long steel pole to chunk at the void. He made sure to hold on tight to this one, pinching the pole like it was made of play dough. Justice made sure his friends were a good ways out of the way before launching the pole straight at it. "Justice is here!" The Golem would call out while continuing to advance on the Void.

    Echo
    Russel's Digital Self.

With team four entering the fray and the sighting of a possible Void, Russel went ahead and closed his eyes. His chest would rise and fall as he took a deep breath to calm himself. Soon he was back in to the form of Echo. The digital form Russel's soul took as it passed through wireless connections. He could sense the PDAs of the newly formed team 4 and quickly began to load maps on each one of their devices. On the map was the location of team one shown in green, with team four showing up as blue. It would also show the locations of civilians who needed to be saved that carried around mobile devices, which was practically everyone in this day and age.

Echo went ahead and bounced from their signal to the signal of his teammates and updated the information of team four's positions which were all scattered about save a couple of them. One also seemed to be still. Echo couldn't tell what was going on, but feared for the worse. Echo also made sure to include the location of the the large hole in the ground that he found. As a void may be near by still. Echo would then say over everyone's PDAs, one and four, "Yo! Echo here. I updated the maps I originally sent out as well as the possible Void location I found. Could I get a winged out here? Also welcome to the..."

A sudden tug at his soul interrupted Echo as suddenly his form left everyone's PDAs and shot back to his main body. Chip was going mad with excitement as he tried desperately to awaken Russel by shaking the collar of his shirt. Slowly Russel came to and noticed a couple of buildings falling apart in front of his car. "Oh hell no! The Void is right in front of me destroying shops!" Russel called out as he threw the car into reverse and stomped on the gas pedal to get out of there. He couldn't risk losing their source of transportation. With expert driving, Russel swung the car around the corner of another street and out of view. He then emerged from the car and moved to the trunk. What Russel didn't know was the fact the one he saw was completely different than the one Milly was fighting.
