Hi Harvey!! biggrin
It's nice hearing from you! whee
I sure hope you had the nice kind of snow and not the yellow kind people have been warning me about. xd
We have barely had any snow this season. I gotta admit I would have liked having more snow. 3nodding
It feels a lot like spring is starting outside. Today I even spotted some coriander plants starting to grow in my planters on the balcony. That was quite a surprise eek It's way too early in the year for all of this.
Do you like coriander? (Not many people I know do)
And do you also grow some plants / vegetables / etc. every now and then? biggrin
For Black Friday I was working as usual - but it wasn't bad because I don't work in sales so it did not have an effect on me.
Afterwards I went to see a movie at the cinema with two coworkers of mine. biggrin I hope you had a nice and comfy Black Friday.
I didn't really go Black Friday shopping - but we (my coworkers and me) dropped by at a shop while we were waiting for the movie. I bought 4 small things of which none was for me (none of it was on sale either I think. xd) So I guess I did not do it right. We also got to eat freshly roasted chestnuts (I really like roasted chestnuts, but I know several people who really dislike them. biggrin Do you like them?).
You know, I do understand your point of view biggrin - but I think consumables as well as a few other things should always count as an exception.
Like a nice smelling bottle of shower gel or a yummy bar of chocolate. biggrin not the pricey ones - but the nice ones for a regular price. They get used up, don't take any extra space and do make the day a little nicer. Don't you think so too?
I'm glad to hear you are heading into the direction of feeling the Christmas spirit. 3nodding
I gotta admit I am not quite there yet.
But I did feel happy when I made and wrote a Christmas card for/to my friend and also when we had some nice snowfall ~about 2 weeks ago.
Is writing Christmas cards a tradition at your place as well? It seems to be getting replaced by WhatsApp texts here where I live (same goes for birthday cards). biggrin But I plan to keep writing my 2-3 Christmas cards per year, even when everybody else uses virtual texts. 3nodding
thank you very much.
I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving yourself.
(I gotta admit I did not celebrate Thanksgiving at all. biggrin But that's mainly because I am not from America).
I hope you are having a good Black Friday today. 3nodding
I can't believe it's almost december already. I'm not ready for xmas season yet at all. xd: . Are you? classified_diedrich
