Character Storage of Adventures
This journal comprises of the trials and tribulations of my characters as I played them through a number of different video games.
Triennial
Little did I know that my time in Thedas would not so quickly come to an end. Three years passed since our return from the Deep Roads. During that time, Carver’s and my shares of the expedition’s rewards went towards helping Leandra regain her titles and the Amell estate. She insisted that I live in the old mansion with her, especially after Carver earned his knighthood among the Templar Order. I agreed if only to keep an eye on her while her son was away. Leandra then felt it was her duty to find me a suitable match for marriage. Status was everything in Kirkwall, and in her eyes, I was rising up as an eligible bachelorette. Bodahn and Sandal came to live with us, the father dwarf insisting that it was the only way he could repay me for saving his son during our time in the Deep Roads. I told him it was not necessary, but he left me with no other options.

Both Varric and Fenris were curious to know what my plans were after accumulating so much wealth and reputation after our venture down to the Deep Roads. The dwarf specifically suspected that I would want to return to Ferelden, but I knew I could not return there. At least not willingly, though I kept my true reasons from the story-weaving dwarf. Instead, I told him that I had every intention of keeping an eye on Leandra for Carver while she settled back into her former noble life. I then proceeded to claim how smitten I was with the handsome dwarf and could not bear the thought of leaving his side so soon. Varric may not have blushed at the well-meaning tease, but I could tell he appreciated the sentiment.

Fenris, however, sounded as though he was at a crossroads. For three years he remained within the mansion that was in some small way connected to his master. Yet, for those three years, Danarius made no attempts to collect his elven slave. I asked what he intended on doing, and if he thought that he was free to start his life over. He felt completely clueless as to what to do with himself. Fenris could not remember what his life was like before he was branded with the lyrium tattoos. He could not even remember what his real name was or if he had any family to speak of.

Understanding how much such thoughts could weigh on one’s mind, I reminded him that I was there if he needed to talk it out. I did not mind helping him with his problems and suggested that I could cause him a few more if he did not mind helping me deal with Leandra’s meddling with my personal affairs. He did not hesitate to tell me how attractive I was, that I was beautiful, and he was a bit surprised that I did not already have a long line of suitors already vying for my attention. His own doubts trickled into the conversation when he expressed his belief that I would have no interest in an escaped slave. I refuted his assumption, as no one else had captured my attention as he had.

On top of it all, the Qunari that had shipwrecked just outside of Kirkwall were still waiting for another ship to come and rescue them from the city’s corruption. I wondered what more there was for me to do. I would later wonder why my father’s pendant felt the need to put me in the middle of the crucial points of Thedas’s history.
