This is part one of my Marluxia fanfic. I know it starts kinda confusing but that's because my friends and I created new characters from and old kingdom Hearts rp. This is mostly for them. so enjoy. though I'll tell you that the girl Andree is the character I created.
Andree laughed as she walked off the bus with her best Friend Sai. She moved her long brown hair from her eyes. Her emerald eyes searched the campsite since it was her first time at a summer camp. Normally she hadn't the money to go but this year Sai's father Diz had paid for her to go. Though in truth she would be working it off once the summer was over. Then she would be working at Diz's private school as a tutor. She had met Sai when she had been a child. Diz had been a big help to her and her family so it was an honor to work for him. "Sai....this place is beautiful! Look at all the flowers and the trees...so tall!"
Sai laughed as she shook her head and looked over at her childhood friend. Sai was only a few inchs shorter then her though you couldn't tell. She had told Sai all about her boyfriend Axel and best friend Riku. She had met Riku only once and thought he was....well...dumb. It was obivous that he liked Sai. Sai had also told her a lot about how Axel and Riku fought. "I told you this place was awesome!" She looked around and then yelled, "SWEET! everyone made it including Lyuna!" Lyuna was another of Sai's good friends. Though Sai said she was a bit distant since she didn't have her heart.
Andree smiled as she looked at the group of people then one had caught her eye. He had long, flowing, pink hair and deep brown eyes. He was the camp uniform but his was a deep pink mixed with black. It looked rather nice on him since it hugged his slim body. In his hand was the most beautiful rose she had ever seen. "Sa...Sai...who...who's that?"
Sai looked over to where Andree was looking and groaned. "Please don't tell me you like him?"
"Why.....who is he?" Andree asked.
"That is one of Axel's friends; his name's Marluxia though everyone calls him Marly or flowerboy." She giggled as she added, "But he's a waste of time; he's rather rude and I think he's gay."
"Oh...." was all Andree could say with the dissapoint showing in her voice. "Huh....woah!" she yelled as Sai suddenly grabbed her wairst and pulled her forward. Then before she knew it; she was shaking hands with every single one of Sai's friends. But when it came to meeting Marluxia; she blushed slightly.
"Ahh...Who is this lovely flower?" he asked Sai as he kissed Andree's hand.
Sai only rolled her eyes and said, "Save it Flowerboy...this is Andree. It's her first time here so don't be an a**."
Marluxia chuckled as he said, "Only to you and the others love." He turned his attention back to Andree and held the rose out to her. "Since this is your first time allow me to be the first to welcome you. A beautiful rose for a beautiful girl."
Andree's blush grew as she took the rose and stuttered, "Tha....thanks." She closed her eyes and smelt it. "It smells divine; it wouldn't happen to be a Moonbeam rose would it?"
Surpaise showed on Marluxia's face as he asked, "You know of it?"
Andree nodded and said, "It's one of my favorites because it never withers but I've never been able to breed them. Even with my ability to grow things."
Before Marluxia could ask more Sai had wisked her away to meet the camp counslers. He watched as she left until Axel hit him in the ribs. "Earth to Marly!" He waved his hand in front of Marly's face and laughed. "Finally find something more interesting then your flowers?"
For Andree the rest of the day seemed to fly by; the boys and girls were on oppsite sides of the camp. But during the day they were placed in groups. Andree ended up with Sai, Roxas, Riku, Lyuna, and Demyx. Though she watched her mind was else where. After awhile Sai got sick of it and pinched Andree. "OW!"
"Girl you need to wake up; it's time for lunch and then it's arts and crafts. And you'll love this; this year each of us get to partner up with someone and start our own gardens." When she saw Andree smile at that she nodded.
Demyx shook his head as he listened the two and said, "Gardening is sooooooooo boring." He never noticed the sudden glare Andree sent him. But Sai did and she bit her lip knowing what that look meant. Normally Andree was a calm girl but there were a few things that sent her off the egde. Making in front of gardens or plants in general was her biggest petpeeve. "I mean plants are so boring, they don't do anything useful."
"You really are dense then," Andree hissed quietly. "What do you think helps give us the air we breath? Or the sweet furits, vegetables, and honey that the bees make?"
"Don't waste your breath on the knuckle head.He's too thick headed to understand," a voice said behind Andree. She turned as everyone sat at the table that her group as at.
"Lay off Flowerboy! Sai hissed as Demyx glared at him.
Marluxia held up his hands in surrender as he said, "Alright...don't blow up......OW!" He looked at Axel and let out a hiss. "What the ******** was that for!"
"I told you to leave Sai alone," Axel growled. But his attention was gone when Riku sat to the right off Sai. Since Andree sat on Sai's left there was no way he could sit next to her. He grabbed Riku's shoulder and threw him backwards off the bench. But when he did Riku accidently grabbed Sai. Both fell off the bench and there was a sickening thud as Sai's head hit the floor.
"SAI!" Andree jumped off the bench and knelt to her friend's side. "Sai......SAI!" She glared hatefully at Axel and Riku; who was picking himself up. "She....she won't wake up."
"Let me see," Marluxia said as he gently nudged Andree out of the way. He placed his hand behind her head and his eyes widened. "Blood...." Swiftly he created a strecher out of vines that grew from his hands. Gently he laid her on it and looked at Demyx. "Help me with this." Then the two ran off towards the med ward.
"You b*****d! Look what you ******** did!" Riku growled as he tackled Axel.
As the two fought Andree watched and her anger grew even more. Before either knew what had happened thick vines had curled around their bodies. "STOP IT! BOTH OF YOU!" Andree growled. The vines curled around their necks as she growled, "This is both of your faults! If you wanted to sit with her Axel you only had to ask me to move! And if you two didn't have this stuipd rivally then she wouldn't have gotten hurt!"
Roxas laid his hand on Andree's shoulder and quietly said, "Release them.....before anyone else gets hurt." It was at that time that Vincent came. He wasn't really a camp counsler but he helped out every now and then.
His red eyes looked at each person quietly as Andree released her spell. "Enough of this; you two..come with me. The dictor wants a word with you." He then looked at Andree but said nothing. "The rest of you are to head over to the arts and crafts area." With that he grabbed each boy and dragged them away.
"Come on Andree; there's nothing more we can do," Roxas said gently.
Namine took Andree's hand and smiled gently and led her where they had to go. Sora and Kairi followed as did the others.
Marluxia sat outside of the nurse's tent with Demyx and placed his head in his hands. "Some first day of camp this turned out to be." A few minutes later the nurse walked out. "How is she?"
"She'll be fine; it's just a bump on the head. As long as everyone keeps an eye on her she'll be fine," the nurse anwered. "I'll send her along in a little while so you guys can go." Marluxia and Demyx nodded then headed off.
Once at the arts and crafts area Demyx paired off with with Zexion. Marluxia saw that Andree was just sitting there by herself. Walking over to her he sat next to her. Attempting to get her to smile he said, "Sit here much longer and you'll end up with roots for feet."
Andree looked at Marluxia and he was rewarded with the smile he had been hoping to see. But it went just as quickly as it had come. "Is....is she ok?"
Marluxia nodded as he wrapped his arm around Andree's shoulders. "She'll be fine; we just need to keep an eye on her. Should be easy since you, her, Namine, and Lyuna share the same room." Then his eyes widened as she did something he hadn't been excepting. Her arms wrapped around his waist as she began to cry. At a loss at what to do he looked over at the others.
Demyx only smiled and started laughing until Zexion hit him over the head. To his surpaise it was Larxene who came to his rescue. Quickly she bent down and whispered, "Just hold her." Then she quickly walked off like nothing had happened.
He was pleastanly surpaised to see that she still had the flower in her hair. Since she had braided it; she had placed it in the center of the braid. "Hey...it's alright. The nurse said she'd send Sai soon." He lifted her chin and smiled. Wiping away her tears he said, "It's good to know that Sai has such a good friend that worrys about her."
Xemnas glared at the two boys as he was told what had happened to his niece. He waved Vincent away and told him to rejoin Cloud and the others. "For what you have done I should throw you out of this camp." He walked around his desk to a rather large window and placed his hands behind his back. "But as it is Sai has already begged not to do so."
"Wait! Sai's alright?" Axel asked hopefully.
"She has a minor concussion but is otherwise fine, lucky for you." He turned to face the two bos and said, "But if it happens again your going to be in BIG trouble. From now on you two are to be partners in any camp activatey. Fail and your gone; now get going," Xemnas ordered.
Both boys nodded and headed off to the Arts and Crafts area. Neither were happy that they were partnered together. "I suppose the one we'll have to be careful with is Andree," Riku said quietly. "Did you see the look she gave us? And how tight thoes vines were, she was really pissed."
"It's to be excepted, remeber Sai said she had a temper," Axel answered.
Andree had been working hard with Marluxia as he showed her how to grow and maintain the Moonbeam Roses. They had been working so hard that she hadn't noticed Sai when she came back. She had been embarrassed when she had cried in Marluxia's arms. When she had finally calmed down they began their work. "This is easier then it looks," Andree said.
Marluxia nodded and had been about to answer when he saw Sai. "See; I told you she'd be alright."
"Huh?" When Andree turned and saw Sai she jumped to her feet. "SAI!"
Sai's head picked up and she smiled and waved but was tackled. "Woah.....chill out Andree."
"Bu....but I thought that....." Once more Andree started crying.
Sai laughed as she said, "I'm fine...see?" She had a bandage around her head but otherwise seemed alright. She pried Andree's arms of her.
Andree sniffled then playfully punched Sai's arm. "STUIPD! I was worried!" She sighed and then backed away until she was standing next to Marluxia.
"Wait....what's this?" Sai asked as she looked from one to the other.
"You were wrong Sai; Marluxia is far from being gay," Andree answered. "We have a lot in common as well."
Sai shook her head as she looked at the two and said, "Your both nuts." Then her head turned when Axel and Riku came into view. Andree let out a hiss but Sai only sighed. Then without a further word she went off to talk to the two.
Before Andree knew it it was time for bed and she happily fell onto the bottom bunk. She never would have thought that she'd be so damn tired.
