Ha ^^ It seems that I've decreased the amount of time I wait in between journal entries. The reason? Likelihood is that it's because I'm a bit bored. When you're bored, you do things you don't need to like washing your brother's clothes with the type of detergent he hates and buying toner for your nonexistant fax machine.
And writing extra journal entries.
Anyhow, this morning Naima and I were hit with a tablespoon of inspiration!!! We found a new artist on dev art and have begun practicing her style of drawing. We ourselves have always liked drawing element types, and the way she does it is really cute. She makes calendars too wink
Anyway, that's basically what we've been doing today in addition to our volunteerisms at VBS.
We continue our work in the kitchen, but today we found ourselves helping out a lot in the art room. I'm distractable, so Nai got a lot more work done than me ^^; Oh yeah, we named all the birds.
The first that were named were Neji and Ten ten. They're brown and white finches ^^ Neji seems to be the worker, while Tenten just kinda sits there and enjoys his works. And she talks a lot.
I named Nai's favorite one ^^ He's Noah. He's a grayish brown finch with little red accents on some of his feathers. And a completely orange beak.
One of the gray-faced cockatiels is named Annah, and she doesn't seem to have much of a personality yet. The other cockatiel is named Woody, he has a yellow face and is more couragous than the other birds, but hey. He is taller.
Bully is a blue and yellow parakeet, who can be described just as his name says. Bully picks on everyone-- even the cockatiels. He pecks 'em in the face >.<
Sherbert (my favorite ^^) and her mate Pao-Li are interesting birds. Sherbert's a little psycho and occupies a lot of her time circling the top of the sanctuary absentmindedly. Pao-Li always makes faces at me behind Naima's back and then acts all innocent when she turns around sad
And then there's the podracers. They're two yellow parakeets that we can't tell apart. The reason they're podracers is because they make too much noise and it sound exactly like a podracers (try going to sleep with that, Chuck Norris! mrgreen )
A really cool looking orange amnd black finch named Kabuki spends his days near the top of the sanctuary. He seems to be a bit of a loner ^^
We haven't named the others yet, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Well I should sign off so I can create some coolio elemental-style drawings! (While listening to Panic! At the disco)
