Well. This may be a slightly depressing journal entry, but if it is, it's not my fault.
I'm listening to "Brothers" (sung by Eddo-kun whee ) And that can make anyone a little melancholy. But-- that aside, I'm actually in a pretty good mood.
I got out of middle school in one piece, I got into a fair collection of high schools (none of which I'm actually attending, but that's besides the point sweatdrop ) and I've got a whole summer in front of me-- minus the two weeks in June that I have plans for.
I can't wait to do tons of stuff with my friends. Mostly, I really really wanna go to the aquarium. So... if you feel like being extra nice to me, you know the place to take me ^^ And the park, too.
But anywhere is fun as long as I'm with my friends. wink Anyhow....
I got a new phone ^^ It's kinda weird. I actually have my phone... No, that doesn't make sense. Ano, usually if I lose my phone, my mom will refuse to get me a new one for at least three months or so.
She got me a new phone... when I didn't need one though. I still have my phone, and I like it lots.
But the phone she got me is really pretty... and it was free too ^^ It was because my brother, Ryan, jumped into my friend's pool with his phone in his pocket (cheated) without really thinking first. Well, his phone got busted and my mom went to go get him a new phone.
Which is when she found out that, since we had five lines on our plan and none of us had upgraded phones since.... forever, we were all eligible to get a bunch of new phones for free (with the purchase of the first phone, that is). So, now I have a coolio phone ^^ It...slides... it's wicked awesome. whee
Well, wasn't that a lengthy section devoted to the subject of cellular devices? Mm hm.
So much for the melancholy journal entry. I guess "Brothers" couldn't play the entire time I wrote anyway. At least, not until I get those ultra-fast, inhuman typing skills I've been asking santa clause for ^^
Let's see... Oh yeah. I updated Dendolinium once again ^^ Chapter five (unless you count the intro as a chapter, which I don't) Although I'm still a little iffy on how I'm carrying out the sixth chap. It's gonna pick up the tempo pretty quickly... A chapter you won't wanna miss wink
Whoa-- wait, I need to explain this one. Okay, earlier, I was listening to "Brothers" by Eddo-kun (Vic Mignogna rolleyes ) and now I'm listening to "Waiting on the world to change" by John Mayer. My brain went through it's whole proccess and, I don't exactly know how, but I ended up imagining what would happen if John Mayer and Edward Elric were put into a room and they had to write a song together... I imagine Eddo would be trying to incorperate something really depressing (about his brother, his mom, the war of ishval, etc.) and John Mayer would be a little disturbed by the stories Eddo starts telling and then, for some reason, my imaginary John Mayer took out an AK47 and started shotting at Eddo and he was deflecting the bullets with his auto-mail arm and then it gets dented and Winry shows up and beats the crap out of both of them with her wrench.
Okay, sorry for that little... disturbance. Those kinds of things play out sometimes in my mind... It happens to a lot of novelists (it's where we get our crazy storylines wink ) Anyway, let's move on to a sane subject.
My youth group is getting together almost every week this summer for different things. We're not having anymore R.A.K. (random acts of kindness) Nights, even though they're oh-so-fun whee Yeah... I love my youth group. They're... a bit unorthadox, but so am I. So it's all good rofl
Kevin (youth pastor, also known as "Moose" and "Yakirfyk" wink said something about a mission trip to Melbourne... he also said not to go body surfing there, "the locals know what they're talkin' about". So yeah, no body surfing in Melbourne.
I'm not sure I'm going tho... it's a little expensive.
We're also going on this weird white-water rafting thing at this place in... Tennessee I think? Not sure. I just know that there's gonna be a lot of stuff to do ^^ And we're trying to save up money so we can maybe go on a ski trip like we used to before we had to pay for the air conditioning and other troubles that have come with the arrival of our new place ^^;
I only went on one ski trip with the youth... a long time ago. Kevin wasn't our pastor at the time, it was someone named "Dan" and we were in the lodge and a few of the boys were horsing around and they actually put a hole in the wall. Yeah.
Well, I think I'm gonna wrap it up. It's been a bit of a long day (yeah, a long day and it's still only 4:28 =_=) Thanks for reading (not sure why ya did, tho neutral )
