The light in the night shone down upon her from above
The heart battered by memories was taken by love
And from the cruel world's clutches gave birth to her
Without love, without hate, without doubt, without mother
Sunlight touched the lids that opened slowly and a world
Of extreme beauty and disaster came and unfurled
Here was the place long searched for through mighty winter
And only then did she realize that it was summer
Her memories faded with melting snow
And up poked flowers begginning to grow
She stretched her aching body and looked at the sun
Life may not have been fair, but life had been fun
She wandered many a lonley day
And smiled and laughed in her own gentle way
She cared, she smiled
She was untamed and wild
She reached her hands without memory to guid her
And allowed the one she loved to be beside her
She lived
She gived
She cried
She died
She awakened after death only to find
All memories of who she was was left behind
And as though there was no such thing as sin
She took a step forward to begin again
There was something new that she saw when she looked where she had been
And she turned to him
Where she was going
She took his hand
And looked at her friends
The people who had stood by her in the very darkest hour
And together
They all walked together
