I feel empty
Like I've lost something that was completely wonderful
Just watched it slip right through my fingers
It's gone now
And I'm still standing, staring at my hands
Wondering how the hell I ever dropped it
Let it slip right through these fingers
Let all the trust fade away like my shadow as the sun moves above me
Let all the smiles I had turn into frowns like oceans becomeing rivers
Like mountains becoming volcanos
It all fades away
All because I let it slip
Right through my fingers
These fingers that I'm staring at
My hands
My self
I did this
I let this happen
How could I?
How the hell did this happen?
I'm so frustrated
And I feel like such a failure
These fingers
These hands
These are what became weak
And let go
This is my fault
