[OOC] Okay, unless I flat out during RP make a mistake, please leave little things alone. Like don't come to be saying "omgz flower arranging is complicated, you have to have the right vase and the right flowers, and this thing you can't have on the Island" Flower arranging was just an old hobby... If I'm gonna use it in the RP now, I promise you I WILL do my research. Same with everything else.
Now if you see something like "Flower aranging is the art of making fake trees" Please, go ahead and tell me, cause I obviously really messed up. XD But since it just says "flower arranging" just leave it be, okay?
Though if you do think something is noobish or stupid, ask me why and I'll be more than happy to explain it. :3.. Just do it nicely. XD Meaning, don't be like "wtf this is so noob" Instead go "You said I could ask, so i was curious about ___ part?"

Arafel is: Back from haitus!
An Out of Character log of haituses, and notices of when I'll be gone. As a university student I beleive I need this now. Real life will be trying to consume me whole, injest me, and leave nothing but a steaming pile of... Well. You get where thats going.
So not only will this tell you if I'm not here now and why, but it'll also tell you why I wasn't here when and why. :3 Hopefully this will make finding me and finishing RPs easier. XD
I do still check my PMs on my main account(arafel) when I get the time, so if you want or need anything PM me there.
May 1st - June 7th-- Having alot of trouble with the university courses and my disability, basically I'm spending almost every waking hour studying. Next quarter I've applied for reduced course load, so I just need to make it through this one.
March ?- May 1st-- Having a whooole lot of issues with getting moved out, but I have a definate date of moving out on April 20thish, and then it'll take me about a week to get everything set up, including internet and such. Before that, I'm having to take a 2-3 or more hour trip up to seattle every day, along with school work, homework, and looking for a job so i can keep moved out. Overall: I have no free time for the next month.
Febuary 8th-26th-- Visiting Family out of state, limited computer access, no time for RPs or any such things.

[Update] back to an average build, as she's gotten somewhat out of shape while on the island. And she's got a bit more hips and belly than normal as an after effect from the pregnancy. You can't really notice it though.
Skin Tone: Japanese, somewhat pale with a more "yellow" tint.
Hair Color (natural and if colored): Black, not colored
Hair Length/Style: About 2 inches past her shoulders, either down or pulled back for shrine work.
[Update] About 3-4 inches past her shoulders, falling out and thin. Often combed to try and cover that up.

Appearance: A slightly below average height woman, she has a soft caring look about her and always looks prim and propor, as she feels she should.

Clothing styles: When it's not buisness related she can be found in "cute" things. Sweaters mostly, with skirts. Often decorated in girly things like flowers, bunnies, kittens, and or hearts. Though the skirts are often more modest than seen in the media, going knee length or longer.
Former Occupation: Inari Shrine cleaner and student, then a "translator" for coming to the island.

Hobbies: Flower aranging, cooking, Acrobatics/Gymnastics. (She hasn't been able to do any of these since arriving at the Island)
Personality:
Reserved-- Natsumi was raised this way, so it holds strong pretty much all the time. It keeps her polite, soft spoken, calm, well-manored, submissive, and modest. Though on the inside she could be feeling hte exact oposite, practice at staying calm has helped her maintain such in situations alot of people might not be able to, though this definatly has it's limits.
Nervous-- She get's nervious easily, as English is her second language she's constantly worrying about saying what she wants to say right. Though when speaking in Japanese she becomes much more outgoing, and more like the teenage girl she is.
Dense-- Once again, a trait only with her second language. She often misses the point of jokes, and just about never gets the use of word play. She only has the literal interpritation to the meaning unless someone tells her otherwise. (Example: She has now "slept" with Thom becauese she went to sleep in the same bed as him. But saying so would be completely misunderstood)
Childish-- Or moreso "teenagerish." She can act very young when provoked to. Things like being around the oposite sex, or missing the company of her family are the most commonly shown.
Caring-- As sappy as it sounds, she has a good heart in there. She really hates the feeling of insulting someone, she's the kind of person that wants to be everybody's friend... Therefor, she honestly cares what everyone is feeling.
Optimistic-- To the point she can just be in plain denial. Everything must have a silver lining to her, and if it doesn't... it'll just be ignored for as long as possible. Partially the reason why she'll try to preoccupy her time with Friends and hobbies, anything to keep her mind off something bad and to stay happy.
Girly-- She is female, and it shows when it has the chance. Bugs, spiders, snakes and all that sort creep her out, maybe even make her squeal or scream when suprised by one. Back home, she loved to go shopping with her friends, even if she had no money for it she simply got a kick out of trying on the clothes and helping her friends pick out new things.
Innocent-- Okay so this one kinda contradicts the fact that she's pregnant, but as far as the whole knowlage of sex goes she hasn't a clue. It wasn't ever plainly discussed with her, and so anything related to such things makes her flustered and panicy. Mostly because she's not sure what she's supposed to do.
[Update]
Paranoid-- With her changes and all the danger looming about the island she's become massivly paranoid about everything outside. She hid for a month or more, but then Thom started working with her to get her outside more often. But she'll liekly always feel alittle nervious about whats around the corner.
Various Quirks:
-Is still very much a teenager, often nervious around the oposite sex though she hardly knows why. Especially when they're in her room, she's in their room, and/or if they're attractive and showing alot of skin.
-Generally the denial approach type.
-Forgets to speak in english when overexcited.
(Update: This has become less and less since she's getting good at english.)
-Very bad at lieing or keeping secrets.
-Is somewhat girly, though she tries to act buisnessy and adultish, it's often overcome by her weakness for the cute and fluffy.
-The baby kicked every time her stomach growls. Or if she eats too fast.
-She's subtly vain, though she doesn't outright talk about her looks she's somewhat proud of them. On the inside.
-Prone to fainting in certain situations: Blood, pain above her tolerance level, shocking discoveries, big spiders. Or she'll alteast get dizzy/lightheaded and wobbly
(Update: Since her changes she's become less prone to fainting.)
-Easily nerve wracked by thing she's not used to(Things you wouldn't easily find in Japan.), not that she's scared of them, just that she's nervious and awkward.
-Takes things too literal in English. (Japanese isn't as bad with this)

Natsumi grew up in town just about 6 miles outside of Kyoto helping her mother, father and two older brothers work in the local Inari shrine. (Note: They didn't own it, just worked in it.) She spent most of her childhood, following her mother around to learn the ins and outs of clean-up duty, along with selling various novelty items to tourists and others for the offerings.
As she grew older it became routine to head off to school, then come home and help her mother out with daily chores. Each getting more and more complicated as she aged.
Her family was never the richest, as you can imagine shrine cleanup duty didn't pay much for a 5-person family. And they oftened dreamed of heading to America, "the land of opportunity."
Natsumi excelled in her studies, majorly in language skills and other things that required quick memorziational learning. This also included math formulas, histories(involved memorizing dates and names), and spelling. Where as other things like writing would tend to be lower on her skills.
Her sport of chocie was gymnastics and acrobatics. Or atleast her favorite choice, any others she got stuck in such as vollyball would end poorly, though she never got to try the "male sports." She stared working it at a young age, when she first attended school. The school always provided her with the equipment she needed, and at the same time counted it as her PE class.
She managed to attend the championship in her area for gymnastics, her team coming in first place. She would have made it onto higher leauges but her parents couldn't afford the trip money nor could they leave the shrine, so she faked an injury, and returned to simply doing the sport for class credit. Which slowly but surely made her lose most of the talent for it.
In her 2nd to last year she met a boy, sure she'd had a boyfriend here and there but they just never "sparked." He did. For the first few months they weren't much, but then after an incident with Natsumi standing up for him, they became pretty close and stayed together until graduation in march.
Then, he simply dissapered. She'd call and get nothing. She even talked her brother into driving her to his house once, and he was "out"
She simply assumed that he had been just using her for show during highschool, and now had decided to drop out. So she stopped calling.
To the Island//
As Natsumi's 19th birthday neared a new problem overcame their family's poverty issue.
Her family would surely be shamed if they found out... So she had one choice, to leave for America as they had allways hoped for, marry a man and live out respectably. It may have shamed her to do so... But atleast then her family would be spared, and she could take that shame alone.
She tried to find scholarships, jobs, and other things that could bring her to America. She applied in many places, but most were turned down due to outside funds. While she was smart, she wasn't smart enough to get international scholarships. (That crap is like.. woh. XD) Even trying for jobs that would take her there, which would be even better... If she could, then she could pay for her family's way too... eventually.
But nothing worked, she wasn't the best translator. Anyone who was going to hire international wanted someone with college education, and experience in America.
She applied to Feral labs, under a translator position. She knew English, Japanese, and German(barely). And a few words in spanish... So she figured it was her best option. Not like they'd need a shrine cleaner in a place like that.
She sent the same to other international companies, but again, all rejected or unresponcive.
Feral labs did return a letter, accepting her for a job. Inside the letter they provided a plane ticket for the girl, along with instructions on what to bring.
Her family was overjoyed, as was she as they all hurried about their tiny house to pack her bags and get her ready for the trip that weekend.
Her family sent her off, telling her she would easily find a husband and become a citizen and excell in her work. If she did return, the family would wecome her back with open arms, atleast thats what they said. But if she didn't, then that would mean she had found a husband and was on her way to getting that elusive green card and living "happily ever after."
She left soon after, and if everything went as planned, no one would know about her shame, only hers to bear, and perhaps she could even bring her family to her new home.
She boarded the small plane with her tiny suitcase, packed only with clothes and things to remember her family by. A portrait, some charms from the shrine, and a small snack for the road. Simple and plain as the letter had instructed.
The whole thing may have been suspecious, but no one seemed to think of that. The family simply said that all their years in the Inari shrine had finally lead them to wealth. And Natsumi welcomed the quick get away with open arms.
Why America?
Mostly it's her parents influence. They're somewhat old, work in a poor paying job, and idolize america to an extent. They don't feel that they'd ever got themselves, but they felt because of their own family she'd have more opportunity there than in Japan. In alot of places your family matters as to how high in life you get, women have less chance of getting jobs and rely on their husbands(This IS changing, but in a old fasion shrine-area where she comes from it's not as caught up with places like tokyo and such) but because her family were merely janitorial like workers they never beleived she could get much out of life there because of them. And this was implanted in her head throughout her life.
And the "freedom" america seems to promise to most other countries was an added bonus. And theres more room. Theres alot of stories where korean, japanese, chinese ect women talka bout how many things you can get in america vrs their home contries where everythigns so small and compact.

//Possessions___
 A small stone-like keychain from the Inari shrine Natsumi came from. The little kitsune is a symbol in the shrine, and the srhine in general is thought to bring wealth, as Inari is the kami of rice and rice is profit. Thus the keychain is somewhat of a good luck charm for her new "job"
However, she carries it with her everywhere not because of that.. but because it reminds her of her family she had to leave behind.
-A locked breifcase
 -A pregnancy magazine from April, locked up in the breifcase. [Page][Page][Page]
-A calander locked up in the breifcase. It has red circles in march and december.
-A gift box from her friend Ami and Megumi containing two popular American books: Harry Potter, and Lord of the rings. Along with a gag gift "Kama Sutra Pocket Edition"
-Clothing: Sweaters, skirts, short sleeved shirts, and a few shorts. Two pairs of pajamas, both with pants, and one swimsuit. Socks and a few pairs of shoes.
-Bathroom kit: Tooth brush, tooth paste, hair brush, shampoo, soap, towlette
-Picture of her family.
-Picture of her friends.
-A purse, along with some money and all the sort.
-Three Japanese to English dictionarys, diferent editions and focuses and whatnot.
Note: I need to fill in more of the essentials that she would have brought, however she didn't bring TOO much because she thought she could simply buy more in America. :3
She left behind most of her childish things.. Her pink fluffy sheets, her old school uniforms, her collection of plushies. All of those things were replaced with a buisness suit, and a breifcase. So she ended up packing light since she was leaving all her old things behind.

 Makoto Tanaka:
Makoto is Natsumi's loving father, he seemed perfect for working in a shrine by combinations of his looks and his attitude. He'd spent so long in that shrine he almost acted like the monks there, thoguh he'd go a bit overboard with this at times. He was fairly old, his hair was greying and receiding. He'd often just sit back and drink tea whenever he was home. Whenever he gave insight he'd stroke his beard as though it gave him some sort of power. And maybe it had... He was the only man in Japan Natsumi had known with facial hair.
As far as Natsumi's friends went he never really approved of Taro, but he let his wife handle that. He hardly approved of Megumi, but Taro had always seemed to be bad news. It was apparent that whenever Natsumi would leave with the boy, his herbal tea intake would increase.
 Kaida Tanaka:
Kaida was always working, either cooking or cleaning or something with the shrine she had to be working. This made her a bit of a nitpick when it came down to the children's homework and clean rooms. Natsumi, being the first and only girl, got the brunt of this. Her mother would drag her around cleaning and cooking at a young age so she could grow up to be propor. To Natsumi, this was fun... She loved helping her mom clean and cook. She loved mopping in paticular, but mostly she loved the praise she got when she did it right.
Kaida would always seem to slow down when Makoto would come in, though she'd nag him some on doing this or that, it was apparent they were in love. He'd simply smile and nod.
Kaida never approved of Taro.. he was always bad news, and grounded Natsumi on several occassions for sneaking off with him. Which only proved her point... Her and Makoto never did try to forbid the young love, but they would constantly let Natsumi know they didn't approve.
Haruko Tanaka:
Haruko is 8 years older than Natsumi. Haruko was the eldest son, before his two siblings were born he had a fairly cushy lifestyle. Makoto and Kaida had much more money before the next two... And were able to afford decent things for him. After Jiro was born, he had to move into a private school. And then by the time Natsumi was born, Jiro was receiving hand me downs from Haruko.
Haruko was possibly the "mean" sibling, in a bit of spite for the two youngers taking away his cushy life, he'd constantly pick on them in minor ways. Never to actually hurt them, but still he always seemed to be in trouble for this.
Until he hit adulthood he had never been pleased with his two younger siblings. But after moving out around age 20 he found a newfound appretiation for the two. Natsumi was 12 at the time, Jiro was 15. He started to come visit the family, sneakily buy extra gifts for his younger siblings, and quickly became a beloved figure in the family. Harko was also where Natsumi got most of her money for Clothes from. When their parents wouldn't take the money Haruko offered, he'd just spend it on his siblings in a way to "make them" take it.
Even before Haruko's "coming of age" he had been protective of Natsumi. He'd pick on both his siblings, but as far as Natsumi went anyone that picked on her messed with him. And so, when Taro came along he had gotten a personal threat from Haruko.
Jiro Tanaka:
Jiro is 3 years older than Natsumi. He was the polar oposite of Haruko. If anything, he turned out to be a bit of a geek. He was pudgy, and did all the nerdy things. He'd sit around home and watch TV series, animes and the like. He started colecting figurines, which then became the brunt of the picking he got from his older brother. However, life got better when Haru moved out. Haru moved from destroying his figurines, to buying him new ones ever chance he got.
Jiro and Natsumi were close, she never understood the things he watched... But they were more alike than Haruko and her. And before Haruko left, Natsumi would often rope Jiro into playing with her. Jiro was just as protective as Haruko, though lacking the physical skill to back it up... he'd still step up whenever some unwanted guy started messing with her when they were out.
At a younger age, Natsumi had always been fantasized by the few toys she couldn't play with... Though Jiro was happy yo tell her about them, she just wanted to play with them. Which eventually dissapated into a love of shopping.
Jiro hardly got along with Haruko, even after he started getting presents there seemed to be a bit of a grudge held against the older brother.

 Taro Hirohito:
While he may have been out of her life even before she left for the island, but he was still an important peice of it. The man had been her boyfriend for several months and through her last year of highschool. He was considered more of a "badboy" around the campus, procrastinating in his work and often picking fights. Around her, he'd stay pretty well behaived. Anything for a cute girl, afterall. He'd often stop by the shrine and try and coax her out of her work to hang out with him. Needless to say her parents weren't the fondest of him, and her brothers always kept an eye over her. None the less, dispite his unruly behavior, he was caring and looked after her. And she always "saw the good in him."
Their relationship headed towards rocky areas as he fell behind in classes, goofing off to much and not studying showed no promise of any college taking him, nor job oportunities. Wether or not that caused the end, not long after her graduation he abruptly vanished from her life without a word. And then she found out she was pregnant with his child.
Now she still misses him, but deals with that by being mad at him(keeping it to herself though)
Thoughts: I'm mad at him... I think.
Status: Ex-boyfriend back in japan (See below for the newer entry. >o>)
Megumi:
Megumi was Natsumi's oldest friend back home, they lived near to eachother for most of their growing life, until the girl moved to the nearest city. However, in school they were still together and often hung out, went shopping, and if they got lucky they'd go to a movie. (Movies are really expensive o_o) Or they'd just hang in Megumi's house and watch TV. At school they tried to share all the same classes. Though Natsumi excelled in her classes a bit more, she'd atleast stop to help Megumi. And vice versa. Though other friends would come and go Megumi seemed to just stay around. Megumi was always a bit outgoing for a girl, Natsumi would try to keep her in line but every once and awhile the girl would pull a prank or two, which would always get her in trouble.
When Natsumi had to leave Megumi was probably the most upset. Though promises to write and come visit kept her passified. And more recently Natsumi found her friends last prank.
Thoughts: I really miss her, I said I was going to write.. but now I can't. I hope she doesn't think I'm mad at her...
-- Mouu! I can't beleive she pulled that prank on me.
Status: Long lost friend
Ami:
Ami was a more recent friend, after a bit of a tiff with two girls, Ami was one of the very few people that beleived Natsumi knew what she was doing with Taro. Ami is much more passive than Megumi, about the same as Natsumi would be. They had a much more passive friendship, simply talking together, or going shopping. Looking at magazines. Ami would often get sucked into Megumi's little pranks, they were always harmless stupid things; Like sneaking lipstick into a boy's locker. And ofcourse, she had also been in on the kama sutra prank.
Thoughts: I'll miss her too, I hope Megumi doesn't get her in too much trouble.

 Nita:
Natsumi's first "friend" on the Island, they met during breakfast. And Nita informed natsumi about the Island's ways... Shocked, Natsumi ended up fainting and Nita had to help her back to her room. Afterwards, Nita stayed and chatted to make sure Natsumi was fine, then left.
Natsumi likes nita, she seemes to be a simmaler age and simply welcoming in such a situation.
--Nita was first to find out about Natsumi's pregnancy. Also there for the first kick.
--She also saw Nita when she went to Alec's, and on the beach after running into Zach. Nita became sort of a guardian angel in that moment she conveniently showed up.
Thoughts: Nita is kind, I like her... I hope to see her more.
--Aa I can't beleive she knows... But... She seemed happy for it. I was suprised.
-- I'm really thankful for her, she's become a really good friend.
Status: Best friend
 Colche:
Colche was but a breif meeting, she seemed curious and inquisitive while Natsumi was left flustered and shocked by her nudity... Even moreso than the fact she was mostly cheetah. They met in the gym while natsumi was doing streaches.
Thoughts: Is this normal?! D-Do people just walk around naked here? I'm so confused.... But... she was nice, even so...
Status: Stranger
 Thomas:
Thom seemed to pop out of nowhere and catch natsumi as she fell down the stairs, then helped clean up the trash. Natsumi acts a bit childish around him, resembling more of a highschool girl than areound most. He then invited her to play some "football." After a few minutes into the game the initial formalities Natsumi was used to having to keep up seemed to fade, allowing her to really enjoy playing the game. They played for awhile, before it finally started getting dark and they retreated back to their duplexes.
-- Thom came to visit Natsumi out of boredum, barging in only to find out about her pregnancy. It was awkward at first, but he seemed to adjust... He then helped her figure out some books she was trying to read, only for her to conveniently run into the "gift" Megumi and Ami had left her. While she found it embaressing, Thom found it Hilarious. He made a crack at her pregnancy, which at first was a bit upsetting to her... but then he quickly made up for it and Invited her to lunch.
-- After the incident with Zach, Natsumi wasn't feeling all too brave. Scared actually, and ended up getting out of bed to find some comfort in a friend. Like she had back home with her brothers and parents. However, the trip to Nita's was too far... So instead, she went downstairs and asked THom to let her sleep there for the night.
-- Taro suddenlly appeared out of nowhere on the island, though he was there to get a translator that idea was quickly dropped as he shoved his way in to inquire what was wrong with her. She paniced, not wanting him to see her changes and pregnancy, they ended up making alot of noise with the door slamming and clomping around and whatnot. Which drew Thom upstairs to see what was wrong. After a little breakdown when Taro wouldn't leave, Thom and Taro ended up getting in a fight. Thom was buzzed out, and Taro ended up leaving when he assumed that Natsumi had chosen Thom over him.
--Thom changed to his 50%, although only partly done when he called Natsumi in a bit of a panic. She immediatly rushed down and managed to witness the rest of the transformation. In all honestly, it scared her as it probably would anyone. Still, she stayed and offered consolance, even spent the night when he asked. The next morning they started his world cup videos, Thom found out he was legally dead and had a general Breakdown... Natsumi tried to offer consolance, until they finally found a distraction when she didn't know what a fowl or a combo play was.
Thoughts: Thom is really fun! He taught me football, well.. played it atleast. We will be playing again later, and watching the.. world cup series, i think it was. I'm glad he's my neighbor.
--Ack! THom found out too. Aa I'm really horrible at hiding things. He seemed upset at first, but then he seemed okay with it. Then he just had to be there when I ran into Megumi's "joke" Aaa~ so embaressing...
--Aa.. I feel so childish for asking to sleep there. But it was so reassuring... Although a bit embaressing. It was almost like being with Oniisan...
--I don't know what to think...
--Poor Thom... I don't know what to think about this either, except I feel horrible for him... And then to find out you're dead? I can't even imagine.

 Ian:
Ian and Natsumi met at dinner, each chosing a nice little salad as they chitchatted over little things while eating. The conversation went well, only a fewbumps here and there from language barriers.
Thoughts: He was nice, I would like to speak with him again sometime.
Status: Aquantance
 Alec:
Alec and her met over breakfast, he started talking about sausage as to which Natsumi had no idea what he was speaking of. As soon as she realized it was pork, she ended up naming several things she'd cooked that used pork. Which ended in somewhat of awkward silence. They talked a bit more, with a few language barriers due to Alec's accent and Natsumi's english being her second language. But still seemed to have a decent conversation.
-- Natsumi ran into Alec on the beach when she went to see the sunset. He had been suspicious about her sweater, and her not-adding-up replies to it only made her more suspicious. As the sun set it got cold, Natsumi and Alec headed back... Alec decided to tease her some about how col dhe was, which ended up leading her to put an arm around him to warm him up. The rest of the way to the duplex was dead silent. Then she got him a towel and walked him back to his duplex, where she met Kikue and saw nia again.
-- Alec happens to be swimming raound in the lake while Natsumi indulges in her gecko-instincts and eats a bug... He sees. Awkwardness follows. They go back and forth between serious moments nad Alec teasing her about the bug from there... Like how she hadn't seen his changes yet. Also she finds out he might be able to breath underwater, which seems cool... But with the rest of it, doesn't seem worth it.
Thoughts: His speach gives me a headache... But he was nice, I'd like to see him again.
-- Aa He knows too.... He just went Silent. I wonder if he's mad at me? But... Going back to his duplex and meeting Kikue and seeing Nita again was nice. He didn't seem too mad then.
-- Oh god he saw me eating a bug! But... What happend to him? His changes look horrible... He seems to be taking it okay though... I think.
Status: Friend
 William:
The initial sight of Billy startled Natsumi, only because of the video's she'd just been tricked into watching. The conversation was somewhat awkward, and hardly a conversation. But it seemed to turn better when Billy offered to dispose of the dirty videos for her. Natsumi became overjoyed that someone would do that, not quite catching he'd do anything other than throw them away.
Thoughts: We didn't get to talk long, but he must be good.. because he was nice enough to take those movies away from me.
Status: Stranger
Kikue:
Kikue was a sight for sore eyes, as they say. At first their meeting had been awkward... Natsumi was worried because she was Japanese she'd notice the pregnancy and think exactly what everyone else back home would have thought. But as they talked, it became a bittersweet feeling. Kikue knew exactly what Natsumi was speaking of when she spoke about home, the shrine, even seemed excited about where she had lived.
-- Natsumi took up Kikue's offer on getting together sometimes and the two ended up going for a walk on the beach, since Kikue wasn't too happy letting anyone else inside the duplex. They talked in their Native language about just about everything. Even planning a sleep-over liek thing where they would watch anime together. Until Kikue finally figured out what Natsumi's little swell was and why she was wearing a sweater in the middle of the day. They had a serious moment, which nudged them from friends to best friends. Then they headed back to the cafeteria for a bite to eat (before Kikue took it out on some innocent bird. XD)
Thoughts: Another Japanese girl? Aa.. It really was wonderful speaking to her. I've forgotten how much I miss home...
--I'm amazed... She found out and she didn't care... At all. she hugged me even. She's really wonderful, and sweet.. We're going to watch some anime together later. I wonder how old she is?
Status: Best friend
Newton:
Newt was the most awkward meeting yet, at first he just seemed scared, something aobut a contamination, and then he was eating a worm-Only to choke on it. Paniced, Natsumi performed a dumbed down version of the heimlich maneuver. Afterwards, he once again paniced about his mask... Confused, Natsumi once again tried to help him calm down. She had been wanting to eat insects for the longest time now, and was releived by alot to see someone else doing it... Which encouraged her to take her first insect. A juicy earth worm. Needless to say that hardly went down right. After a bit more discussion, and miscommunication, Newt came to beleive that Natsumi had been infected like he was and not a threat. With that in mind, he nerviously offered to share a midnight snack of insects with her, and happilly she accepted.
--She ran into newton on her trip for painkillers after her transformation, he happilly offered to share his meal with her, and the two talked a bit... Mostly about his little contraption he'd built to capture bugs. At random, he said he thought her markings were pretty, and in return, flattered, she said she thought his markings were handsome. In which she finally had to go, grab her painkillers, and then leave back to her duplex with the promize that they'd see eachother later that week.
Thoughts: it is so wierd to eat bugs... I have always hated them. But ever since i got to the island they've been looking edible... But that's so gross! I felt better when I saw Newton eat one... And then, though as wierd as it is, we ate some more... I like him though. He was nice, though a bit hard to understand...

Zach:
Zach was a by chance occurance on the beach. Natsumi had been out looking for beatles, and noticed the little fire Zach had made. Led by curiosity, she made it to him. And because of his frightning look, she ended up staring. Which in turn, got him a bit mad... She tried to explain herself, feeling bad for having stared and not wanting to insult him. Then he started scaring her with talk of how he hurt people and the like.. eventually escalating into him throwing his arms at her. Luckally, nita stepped in to save the day.
Thoughts: Scary...
Status: Object of fear o_o
Tommy:
A new person she met in the cafeteria... He was rather unnerving with all his questions to the denial-stricker girl who just wanted to enjoy a nice meal. Though, wanting to be friends with everyone, she tried to change the subject and even told him he could come see her at her duplex.
Thoughts: New here... I'm just glad he already knew. He seemed nice though.

It got tense, he claimed that they were all just in a movie... So Natsumi tried to break the news to him. He hardly beleived her and then more talk came up, what was he doing here what was she doing here... ectect. Eventually escalating into her spitting out she was pregnant and storming off. However Taro decided to think it was Thom's baby instead of his.
Thoughts: What is he doing here?! Oh god... This is horrible....
