Hobbies:

Cooking -- While not professionally trained, Casey pours over cookbooks and YouTube tutorials to try and improve his skills. He has to get creative with the ingredients he gets his hands on, since they are often on the discounted or soon to expire shelf at the grocery store, but has a knack for making the most of various spices and ingredients that enhance an inexpensive dish.

Running -- Not only is it a great way to keep himself and his dog, Harrison, in shape, but it is a good way to help him focus his often overactive mind. He is by no means a professional, and started running as a means to get out of the house, but now that he is on his own he continues to go out at least once a day, no matter the weather.

Virtues:

Friendly -- Casey is cheerful and always seems to be smiling. He is always eager to offer his help with things, and would welcome anyone into his home for a meal. His dog, Harrison, is just as friendly, and she will be sure to show it! He sincerely enjoys seeing others smile, and would be happy to go out of his way to try and cheer someone up if they look like they’ve been having a hard day.

Fearless -- Diving head first into the unknown is nothing new for Casey. He was kicked out of his home when he was sixteen, and had to survive on his own from that point on. Couch surfing or securing a place at a shelter, or out on the streets when that wasn’t possible. He looks at all things with a resigned confidence, because if things turn out differently, he can at least say he tried.

Flaws:

Overbearing -- Casey is cheerful… maybe a little too cheerful. He tends to ramble when he talks, talks too much, sings to himself until he’s told to be quiet, hums until the same. He doesn’t mean to annoy people, but he has always been a bit restless and needs something to do. While most people are polite and patient, his personality has caused some explosive responses from some people who finally reach their point of trying to be nice.

Careless -- Living with practically nothing has really changed Casey’s perspective on things. Keeping things locked up while spending a night in the shelter, or out on the street wasn’t exactly realistic, so he stopped caring as much about physical possessions. Now that he has a job and apartment and dog, his bad habits have transferred over and he frequently leaves the door unlocked, but his carelessness usually only extends to himself. He is safe in that he does not leave the stove on, but it wouldn’t upset him if someone came barging into his apartment.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Light blue

Hair: Light brown, short, above his shoulders, but with longer bangs. He uses colorful barrettes to keep his hair out of his eyes.

Face: Oval and youthful. No noticeable blemishes or birthmarks. He thinks he has average looks.

Skin Tone: Light caucasian

Body Type: Average height and less than average weight. A casual runner’s build. He has a small set of weights he uses to make sure he builds arm muscle as well, but isn’t too religious about it.

Clothes: Second hand, but prefers warm, bold colors. He is practical though, and often just wears jeans and sweatshirts over teeshirts.
