Rainy Day Mishap
Setting: Destiny City - Casey's apartment in late June. Rainy weather. Casey's apartment has a small coffee table with various stacks of paper and bills, couch, dog toys, an old television about a decade old, a bookcase made of cheap particle board and shelves that looked like they can't hold the weight of all the books. No art or photos on the walls. Notably sparse. Random clutter but kept neat and clean.
Summary: Casey and Ariel are neighbors but have never spoken other than polite hellos and small talk while they went about their business. However, after a long, wet day, Ariel accidentally walks into Casey's apartment instead of his own. After Ariel apologizes profusely, Casey is scolded for not having his door locked. And Harrison, the worst guard dog in the world, did what she was best known for -- being the worst guard dog in the world.
Casey offers some of the way too much pasta he made, and Ariel agrees to help eat some with him. Ariel comments that he doesn't think he's ever used his stove and hadn't unpacked enough to let his apartment get messy. Casey offers to make food for him, and Ariel offers money to pay for whatever Casey makes. Casey said he liked to make things with eggs and liked soups.
They talk about their jobs. Casey works doing stocking and Ariel works Customer Service at a call center.
They exchange numbers and Ariel says he doesn't mind Casey's music. He liked knowing he wasn't the only one around.
