CONCEPT CONTEST: Star Festival Rehoming Event Strange things are happening in Destiny City and four characters have mysteriously gone missing. This rehoming concept will coincide with the Event ORP (June 17th - July 3rd)! Up for rehoming, we have Turing (Eos Galvus), Desdemona (Daekie), an unnamed Negaverse Agent (tefla), and Sintashta (Tonberry Yuna X). To rehome these characters, the shop will be hosting a concept contest to fit them with an invested player who will keep them in play. This concept contest is open to anyone who is not currently at or over 15 Points based on the Character Cap, and all entries must abide by the rules. Contest InformationThe previous existence of these four characters in the shop has been completely retconned, so these characters will be entering the shop as new characters! Players entering to win these characters will need to write new civilian profiles, write new powered magic, and choose a new powered name (and sphere, for Senshi characters).
Players can enter to win multiple characters but they can only win one character from this event. If a character is not rehomed during this event, they will be rehomed again at a later event.
These characters will disappear during The Event ORP and will be freed when the ORP concludes. You do not need to participate in the ORP to be eligible to enter this contest.
This contest will be open for two weeks. Contest entries do not require a full profile to be completed, but players will need to outline the character’s civilian name, hobbies, virtues and flaws, and any information that would be relevant to establishing them as a character in regards to their backstory (such as friends or family). Players will be judged based on their civilian profile and their backstory. Players must write at least one paragraph to detail a compelling backstory in the below form.
There are a few major things to keep in mind when entering for any character:
These characters must have been awakened between June 1st and June 15th and must have been powered prior to their disappearance.
A White Moon Senshi must have been awakened by a Mauvian, a Knight awakens when they first touch their magical artifact that appears before them, a Negaverse Agent must be awakened by a third stage Negaverse character, and a Dark Mirror Senshi can be awakened by an Eternal Dark Mirror Senshi or higher. After winning a character you can either handwave this awakening or plot it out with someone and backdate the RP.
You may reference your own NPC characters as need be, and may include disposables in your backstory. You can reference PC characters as well, as long as you have player permission to do so.
Please make sure to use the below form in its entirety; if you are submitting multiple entries, please try to send them in at the same time. Players can only submit one entry per character but can submit entries for more than one character.
Please be aware that some art may not fit current uniform guidelines and will need to be corrected when the character grows! Staff members will vote, and the winners will be announced at the close of the ORP on July 3rd.

[b]Powered Name/Sphere[/b]: (Please include new powered name and sphere (if eligible)! If the character has magic, you can include the type of magic, such as offensive, defensive, buff, etc if you like but this is not necessary; only Senshi will have magic at this stage)
[b]Backstory[/b]: (Please write at least one paragraph to describe how your character awakened and what they were doing prior to their disappearance. The character will have been sucked through a strange hole that appears to have ripped through the fabric of reality. They might have fought against it, but the magnetic draw would have sucked them in. They will be trapped in a strange black expanse, with no access to anyone else or any exits. Electronics don't work and they cannot power down; you can write about what they are thinking about or doing to try and escape. While they will not actually interact with anyone, they may feel the sensation of strange creatures following them; they may run into obstacles or strange environments in the darkness. While they are in this strange location they may feel hungry but they will not starve to death; they may feel tired but they will not [i]need[/i] to sleep. You should go into as much detail as necessary to create a compelling story, and you should follow all of the previously listed rules. Please feel free to be creative! Winning ProceduresWhen the winning entry is selected, the player will have two weeks to get the completed quest up for stamping. The character must be stamped before they can be ICly played. They cannot participate in the ORP but will be able to be played directly after it as soon as they are stamped. More information will be available about this when the ORP ends.
If the winning player is unable to post a completed quest for a stamp within two weeks, they forfeit their win and the character will go to another player or be rehomed again in a future contest, so please keep an eye on deadlines for this! Please also make sure you save the art and host it on your own accounts.
The winning player will be able to grow on templates when the character reaches growth requirements at no cost to them; this is considered a contest win so second and third stage growths are free. When winners are announced, they will be quoted and given all shop official, templated art. Players cannot immediately side swap and must play in their won faction until they reach at least their second stage requirements and grow. Rehoming Other CharactersIf a player has any powered characters they would like to rehome to the shop to be released in similar style events, the shop will compensate the player with one Crown Token per character. We realize that this payment doesn’t compare to the price of a new character, but previously there was no compensation for rehoming a character. If any player finds they have no muse or are stuck with a character they no longer have any desire to play, please let us know and we can work to get them back into play. Thank you to everyone who participated! We had some really great ideas and we want to express our gratitude to everyone who entered to give these characters new life! If your concept did not win, please do not be discouraged, and if the character resonated with you we encourage you to continue questing for them! The winners of this Concept Contest Rehoming Event will need to submit their quests for approval; please understand that winning concepts may still need tweaks before they can be stamped. You will need to make sure you have written full profiles for the character you are entering for; full questing information can be found here! When you are finished setting up your full quest, please post in the Acquired stamping thread!
