CHICKS DIG GIANT ROBOTS

For some people, robots are just super-neato things that sometimes delve into the real world via factories or animatronics. Amber does not believe this is fair, and welcomes her robotic overlords. A major robot fiend, Amber loves learning about robots from as far back as the steam automatons of Rome and Greece to modern representations in pop culture, or the robots at theme parks - animatronics especially. She tries saving her allowance for robotic doodads and gadgets, she keeps an Alexa, a Google Home, and a Cortana, and she reads up and virtually sups on as much robotics information as possible. Her end goal is to delve into robotics herself and begin to work with the things, and untiukl then she will devour anything and everything about them.

Music is my love

Amber comes from a music-loving family and the itch was not lost on her. Her grandmother played flute, her grandfather whistles, her father seems to enjoy clarinet AND panflute, her hreat aunt and uncles play guitar, drums, or sing, and Amber is no exception. She enjoys whistling, she's taken guitar and flute, and she's rtarely not listening to music as she wrks. Music helps her think and relax and she generally listens to various types of songs, sometimes even singing along or even trying to dance badly. Music is a comfort, a love, and anyone trying to say anything otherwise will probably get a pu8nch in the lip.


I Macguyvered a thing!

In practice for the very important(tm) calling of building Robots, Amber likes to craft. It's not usually something special or fancy but sometimes it is -- she just likes getting assorted things and making new things. There's no one specvialty -- one day, she might make a cosplay item, and the next, she might assemble a model kit, or build a new shelf for her ever-growing collection of gaming things. Regardless, her hands are seldom idle when she can be making something and this makes her happy -- especially during Con season.

GAMER FOREVER, GAMING WHENEVER

Amber is a gamer. Not just video games, mind you. That's just one facet on her D4 of gaming. Tabletip RPGs like DnD or Pathfinder or Starfinder, or perhaps a nice board game like Lords of Waterdeep or Scrabble or similar is good too. And don't get her started on Munchkin. Amber will game with any old rando she meets, family, friends, and will play most anything or try, from MMOs to board games. She's down to play alone, too, and enjoys ruynning about old school and new blowing things up and saving princesses. BUT THAT ISN'T WHERE IT ENDS IS IT? No! Amber mixes her other hobbies in and enjoys playing gaming music at times, going to conventions, or making crafty things pertaining to her favorite gaming characters.She adores playing with collectables, filling shelves with her loot, and she enjoys working on cosplays from her favorites too. Gaming isn't a simple facet, and Amber doesn't really give one whit if it should bne.

Your feelings are important
When something affects someone Amber gives two whits about she refuses to leave their feelings out. She will ask input and opinions, she will weigh how people feel, and then make her choices. She will try to be as unintrusive to others' feelings and needs as able and when people tell her it's okay, she tries to accept it, even if she can't always do that. The effort for loved ones is made, and that's something more than what some might claim she does. Then again, no human is perfect.

Need help? Amber's happy to lend a hand to people who need it, loved one, or neutral party. She enjoys and gets an emotional boost from helping others and the good jujus that accompany it leave her smiling for a good while after-- helping just feels right and feels good, and that is enough for her, even if it seems simple -- and maybe it is, and that makes her happy.


Small things say I love you...
Amber is a gentle, loving soul. Be it her family, friends, or sighnificant others, she is a love -- she will cuddle and be close and emotionally available to those who she cares for and will do her best to be their rock as best she can, often cuddling in to listen or offering scritchies or backrubs to help others relax. Amber shows love in small ways -- being there, holding someone, or buying them something she noticed they enjoy and not caring a whit the cost to her. She feels love with her whole heart and indescriminately, and it reflects in the small but powerful gestures, her presence, or even her words.



I've got a good memory!
Amber remembers things fairly well and can recall things well too. Sure, sometyimes she needs a kick to reach the memory, but she can remember all manner of esoteric things, from a favorite flavor to allergies, to esoteric nonsense such as a specific preferred video and song by which artist. This doesn't ALWAQYS work but it's good enough to be something she's proud of and shares willingly with others, helpfully offering to remind others of tasks and dates, to minute directions to somerthing after a conversation. Her memory is a pointy of pride, and she will gladly share it.

Flaws:


EVERYTHING IS WEIRD
Amber gets theatric. This is fact, even she shamefully admits to it. She tries to be cool and calm bgut she can't without being a rock and when she's not, oh goodness does it show. She's become very theatric qabout getting into a good school, or coming second to someone she dislikes, or even to her favorite show being cancelled. It's slightly unpredictable as to when she'll claim everything is odd/horrible/weird/miserable/ETC but until she does, well, it's a crapshoot as to what her mood will do and luckily, she can be talked down and soothed. The rare exception seems to be happy timers... Or when her wrath surfaces, and theatrics are nothing compared to wrath.


Are... You an island??
Amber doesn't let people in easily. She's friendly, social, and generally a good person, but she's careful of whom she lets into her inner world and heart. She's watched people with her family -- she's seen racism for her family existance, and she's plain wary of freely giving everything away. To that end many think she tries to be an island; to deal with her own problems herself wiuthout the help of others. While it is possible to crack her shell with lots of work and patience, she isn't an easy heart to reach, nor the most open about her handling of things -- after all... She's '******** OFF THIS IS MINE YOU s**t SHOW
Amber is a possessive little beasty. Not of her things, no. She'll even share! But if you hurt or spook or make her peiople uncomfortable she will arise like Zombie Jesus and come for your eternal soul like a lich from beyond the grave. She is a possessive b***h and open about it at times. She will defend others to the death and while it comes from a place of love, it's TERRIFYING to see her coming, teeth bared and hands grasping to harm anyone or anything making her people unhappy. Amber is just plain horrifying them, proud of it, and unapologetic. And she probably should be less so, in all honesty.

It's funny because he's dead. No, really!
Amber's a dark little brat. Dark jokes, dark humor, dark attitude -- she likes dark things and being slightly crepy. She makes grim, inappropriate jokes when applicable, giggles at stupid darwin style incidents, and generally gets a kick out of the dark side of life. While it isn't bad by far -- in fact some people think it's neutral -- she's still somewhat uncomfortable to be around when she begins talking about dark things and she doesn't CARE who's uncomfortable, or if she's gone too far. She feels it's fair to be dark and that alone is... Well... A problem.
