Personality: Enthusiastic, Confident, Loyal
Nedelle is always one to stand out in a crowd. Whether it’s her looks, her demeanor, or her stride, she doesn’t tend to blend in and she embraces it. Her life growing up has shaped her to be confident at best, brazen at worst with a flare for performance. She accepts her shortcomings and flaws with a unique grace and plays on her strong suits in order to give whatever she tries her best shot. She fully believes that whatever happens was meant to be and has learned to accept that whatever will happen will happen.
She has a super sunny and light aura to her, always happy to see a familiar face, and always looking for a new friend. And once she’s made herself a friend she will protect them any way that she can and defend them as best as she’s able to. She feels personally responsible to do her utmost to be there for whoever she considers “her people”.
History: Nedelle grew up knowing she was different and seeing how odd she looked from her peers. Her mother had told her long ago that she shouldn’t worry about the past and evaded most questions about her father. But from what she had gathered, her father was a Yaeli man named Kel, and he hadn’t been in the picture for very long. Her mother, Jisena, had told her once that when she had been a young woman, she had met a mysterious looking man on the shores of the beach. And that night she had fallen in love. But their love wasn’t to be and the man slipped away into the shadows, leaving Jisena with Nedelle as a token of their forbidden love. It was a sweet story and Nedelle knew that her father had left them and it wasn’t as romantic as her mother had made it out to be, but it didn’t matter to her. She was content with her large adopted family and she didn’t need much more.
Her mother was the ringleader of the world travelling circus in Matori. Jisena had recruited anyone she could find who needed a home and was cast out for whatever reason. There were no limits to who was included in their tents and Nedelle made her home out of their nomadic lifestyle. Her and her best friend Zaeryn were inseparable growing up and when the circus left to tour it was no different.
