Living in a swamp may mean there is less fresh water and food and there are all sorts of things lurking in the mud. She can adapt to what is around them and use whatever she has to achieve her goal.
Adventurous: She really like to go out and explore. She does tend to stay close to her home after getting lost once, but the need to adventure is still there, urging them to go out and find new things and see things no one has seen before. But, she does tend to have a shy spot for other merfolk since they tend to be unpredictable in their behavior.
Cheerful: Līloa is always happy or at least she always looks at the positive side of things. When something bad happens she looks towards the bright side of things and smiles to ease everyone around her.
Loyal: Liloa is very loyal to the things she believes in. She will do many things for her friends and will not betray them or their trust unless they violated one of her morals. But in return she expect loyalty from her friends.
Gullible: Liloa can be gullible and tends to trust those around her too easily. This tends to worry her parents, but so far nothing too bad has happened yet and Liloa has demonstrated responsibility so they let her explore on her own sometimes.
History: Līloa is an only child in her family. She grew up without any siblings and all of the attention from her parents. She does have many cousins, but she still don't know what it is like to have a siblings and she really want a sibling. Little does she know, thanks to the fact that she doesn't have any siblings, her family is way calmer than having 3 siblings all fighting over the same thing. Her parents decided to not have any other children because they grew up in fairly large families and they didn't like the competition for their parent's love.
Līloa's parents met before when their parents were having a party and they both had a lot of the same views so they became pretty good friends and things went on from there.
Liloa has lived a pretty good life so far. The only thing that worries her and her family is that every day their land disappears more and more.
One time she went out to swim, and she got lost causing her whole family to panic. So now they tends to stick close to where they live, but occasionally she’ll want to swim further out and have a fun adventure. Liloa has accompanied her mother very often on work and has been to many places. She strives to be like her mother: a clothes maker.
Beliefs: (right now she is not as strong willed in these beliefs. i want her to grow into them with rp) Liloa is a kind girl. She believes in second chances; however, she does not particularly like forgiving betrayal. She believes that after a betrayal there is no more trust in a relationship and therefore no more trust in someone to be better. Otherwise, Liloa believes in everyone and trust that they have the ability to change into a better person.
But, when she hits her down times, she looks at the world from a whole new view. During these times, she looks at the world with a more pessimistic view. She focuses on the bad going on like shrinking land. She also tends to criticize society's structure more during these times.
But in both these times. Liloa values loyalty and friendship the most.
