Partying: Jay is all about having a good time! She doesn’t care what the theme is, the time is, or even if there is an age requirement. If there is a party going down, she will find a way to be in the middle of it. Life is short and sweet so she’s going to do what she wants or what she considered enjoyable. From clubs to house parties to raves and backyard blow outs, she’s down for whatever.
Playing Hookie: Jay does not enjoy school, work, or any of the things she is told she has to do. She’s made a game out of what is the most outrageous thing she can get away with calling in sick with before possibly getting caught in the act. When she is able to slip out excused, or sometimes...unexcused...her time tends to be spent wandering the streets trying to find something interesting to do from a party scene to just one heck of a good time.
Virtues:
Quick thinking: Fast on her feet and even faster in her thoughts, Jay’s quick thinking has gotten herself and those she hangs with out of more times of trouble than anyone else around them. She is quick with reasons, excuses, and stories to explain what is going on. Her fast thinking comes in handy when she is somewhere she shouldn’t be. It also helps in working her way into a group or an event.
Opportunist: Jay is not one to let an opportunity pass her by. They say seize the day, well she’s seizing the second. Sure, if she loses out on something because she’s taking advantage of something else, she can get a bit disgruntled, but odds are there are other opportunities ahead that she can avail herself of. She does not let adversity get in the way of a prime chance at something fun, or great.
Strong Willed: Jay has a backbone of iron and she’s not about to back down from anything. She knows what she wants, and she is going to get what she wants come whatever trials that come from it. That is not to say that she will attack all her problems head on, hardly, she’s more inclined to take the window than the front door, but if put between a rock and a hard place, Jay will push against both and refuse to budge until she has some breathing room.
Flaws:
Selfish: It’s me and my way or the highway. Jay’s number one is herself and anyone who doesn’t benefit her is a waste of time. She has zero problems using people to get what she wants and even less of an issue dropping them should they not come through. Loyal to herself above all else means if you hurt her in any way, chances are you will never see her again....
Manipulative: Jay’s going to work a situation into her favor no matter what the cost. When she needs a place to crash, she’s going to make you feel sorry for her. Can’t get into an event? Of course she’s 21 and her ID was stolen. Those shoes look horrible on you but she can pull them off? Guess who is walking out with some new shoes. Of course some people may call her on her bullshit but those people will quickly find she has some excuse ready for what she was trying it. If not, she’ll be gone in no time.
Unrepentant: Jay doesn’t feel bad for anything she does. She sees no reason to feel sorry for breaking rules or potentially hurting people. After all, they weren’t looking out for themselves, its their own fault they got hurt. She doesn’t expect people to understand her reasons for doing things, and she’s not sorry she did them. She’ll apologize if it gets her out of trouble (or in less trouble) or if it gets her, her way, but she doesn’t really mean it.
