HP 20/20 Attack: 7 - 2 = 5 Round two. From the word on the streets, both she and Wardite had made it through the first rounds. But it was the news that their Wardens had both been eliminated that made Piy grin like the witch she was. So, next on the list was a woman by the name of Wavellite. Well, that just meant she would have to adjust her strategy. Walking onto the battlefield, Piy didn't waste a breath and launched herself forward towards the other end. "Why don't we get straight to the point?" Piy laughed to herself, bringing her right leg around to smack straight to the new target...opponent...prey.

HP: 15/20 Damage: 0Wavellite had been quite excited to hear that she would be fighting another girl this time. Sure it wasn’t the guy she had tried to befriend, but it was still someone new. Perhaps someone she could also befriend. This whole tournament was worth it just to find new members of her faction to learn from.
Though, when the blonde didn’t even seem to want to bother with an introduction, Wavellite was a little put out. Just a little.
She stumbled backwards from the kick and didn’t get a chance to retaliate with anything other than a slight hopping flail to stop herself from falling. “Wow. Okay. You want to go right into it, that’s fine. Uh. Nice to meet you too.”
At least this lieutenant seemed like she gave a damn about what was going on, that was a plus.

HP 20/20 Attack: 6 - 2 = 4 "Honey, introductions waste time." Piypite grinned, allowing her momentum to spin her into a 360 before she planted her foot back into the ground. Taking another attack stance, hands at the ready, Piy felt herself have a moment of surprise that the woman did not counter. Oh well. Lunging forward, Piy brought her right fist towards the woman's chest. "Besides, who needs them when they listed our names on the fight."

HP: 11/20 Damage: 0What was this? Extremists in battle day? First she had been paired with Mr. I don’t care about anything, and now here she was fighting Lady Introductions don’t matter I am going to smash your face off.
Perhaps she was just being idealistic, But Wavellite had honestly gone into this tournament thinking she would come out of it with people she could go and patrol with. Partners at the same level as her with the same way of thinking and the same goals.
Well. She would find that partner in round three, or so help her. At least that was her mantra as her hands curled into fists…and then the wind was knocked out of her by a fist in the chest.
The lieutenant’s eyes widened and she stumbled backwards, giving a small cough of surprise, unable to do more than rub at the spot that was just hit.
Jesus.

HP: 20/20 Attack: 7 - 2 = 5 "Don't have much training, do you lovely?" Piypite cocked a grin out of the corner of her mouth as she watched her opponent's facial expression. There was a bit of surprise at how aggressive Piy was being, at least that was her guess as she drew back her left fist and launched it forward, towards the same spot. "Just don't want to mess up your lovely face at least." Piy winked jumping back after the punch.

HP: 6/20 Damage: 6Wavellite scoffed and let out a grunt as she was punched again, hissing in pain. There would be a bruise there, she was sure of it. Damnit.
She was done trying to be polite.
Lashing out, Wavellite ran at the other lieutenant, turning and lifting her foot for a kick, putting all of her weight behind it. “I have more training than you do manners, so, no I suppose that isn’t very much, is it? What’s it too you. b***h.”
She hadn’t wanted this to turn personal. This wasn’t supposed to have been something hostile. For the first time, Wavellite felt a twinge of regret for even signing up.

HP: 14/20 Attack: 8 - 2 = 6 "If there is anything my so called 'lack of manners' should teach you, it's that is no place for them in a match." Piy's voice shook as she slid backwards from the force of the woman's kick. Coming to a stop, her arms clearly going to have another new bruise on them from trying to stop some force of that kick, Piy felt that fire burn within. "About time." She laughed, coming out of the defensive position. Diving into a cart wheel, though one where she completely forgot to straighten her legs (details...blah), Piy landed with her back facing Wavellite and jabbed her elbow back into the woman. "But too little too late."

HP: 0/20 Damage: 0Wavellite had to admit that the cartwheel was cool, but when Piypite’s elbow met her chest, she knew it was over. After the two punches and now this, she didn’t want to keep trying.
“Okay! Okay. I yield.” She drew back and let out a breath, wincing as it hurt. There had to be a few bruises on her chest from all of this, though she hoped nothing was too bad.
Part of her wanted to walk off in a huff, but instead, Wavellite extended a hand, and offered a smile, still rubbing her chest gently. “Hey. That was pretty good. That cartwheel was really cool, I’ve never been able to do one myself…do you think you’d want to patrol together sometime? I could use some chaos buddies.”
This wasn’t…entirely about being the best. It was also about learning one’s strengths. Or at least that was what Wavellite tried to remind herself…losing didn’t feel really good but…
She had done her best.

Turning around to fully face the woman now, Piypite eyed her at first with distrust and then with amusement. Yielding was one thing, but the want to be 'buddies' was such an idea that almost made her laugh. But Piy kept it together, the smile twisting slightly at the edges as she reached out her hand to take the offered one. "Sure. Why not. But only if you think you can keep up." "Names Piypite. Friends call me Piy."
