Terrence finally made it to the next island, as he looked around some more. It truly was a very busy place. This was one of the places that Terrence actually hadn't been to yet, but he heard many stories about how cool it was. Apparently the garden where the next egg was located at was supposed to be in the famous garden just up a head. He smiled some more, as he moved swiftly through the area and towards the garden. He really was eager to go see it, after all even his mother bragged about how pretty it was! With that he moved towards the garden, happy to finally be able to see it.

Terrence left the garden and headed back into the city. It was still a little busy, which he expected. However, he really wanted to stop by some of the shops. The eggs, however, took priority so he'd but that aside for now and make his way towards his next location. It was going to be quite far away, so it was going to take a blot of energy to get over there. With that, he took his leave and left the city.

Terrence relaxed a bit once he was finally back in the town he started at on this island. It was a long trip, and it took forever to get back. However it was worth it. He moved towards the ticket booth and bought his ticket before he moved over to the boats. once there he presented his ticket and got on before grabbing a seat. Once he sat down he let out a sigh of relief and felt Az move from his head and into his lap. He smiled, petting his head softly "thanks for the help, we're going to head to johto now... I wonder what it's like" he asked aloud. He stretched his arms, before the boat took off and towards it's next location.

Takumi held Tzut's small body close as he huddled in the ship's corner. More than one person gave him an odd look, but it wasn't until one approached that he noticed them. He didn't look, which apparently prompted her to reach out and push his forehead back with one hand. "Hmm." Her eyes, sunk into her tan and wrinkled skin, met Takimi's dull one. "You don't look well. Your bird more so. Let me take a look. I'm a doctor." Takumi wanted her to leave him alone, but he wanted Tzut to get help even more. He wasn't worried, not really, until he heard the breath huffing from the old woman's lips. "What?" he snapped. "Weren't you going to help?" The woman's hand hovered over Tzut's darkened feathers, his unmoving side. "I'm sorry. He's gone."
Her hand moved back, making room for his. "He's right here," he stated. Tzut was... here. Takumi rose, looking past the woman's concerned gaze. He ignored her offers, whatever they were for. The boat had docked, and he walked out with Tzut in his arms.

He walked slowly, not wanting to leave this last memory of Tzut behind. It almost made it hurt more because it reminded him of home, brought up so many memories of Tzut back home. Him and Nala had been his only friends, if he was even counting Jun. He shook his head. He could think about all... that... later. For now, he had to find a way to get on a boat, and to do it so Andrei wouldn't be able to track him easily. At the docks he stood out of sight for a long time, watching the people for any sign of the tall man. When he was double- and triple- sure Andrei wasn't around, he made his way as stealthily as possible onto a boat headed for an entirely different region. He hid out of sight, very aware that his single eye stood out, not to mention his ragged appearance.

Heather nodded her head along with each suggestion Fabian gave, finding them all to be wonderful and, more importantly, doable. “German sounds like a fun language,” she mused aloud before snickering. “Oh, yes. That language. I totally know which one you mean. I could try that one too!” Ever amused at the older male’s theatrics, she gave Fabian a chance to finish, giggling along as she did, before she spoke. “Have you ever been in love, Fabi?” She’d heard some musician, from some band, say, maybe, that songs of love and/or loss could only be properly sang by those who’d actually experienced either. It made sense, to her, after all how could you pour your heart and soul into your verses if you didn’t have the emotions to fall back into?
“Maybe she got lost from her colony?” she suggested, eyes falling down to the small Zubat. Man, now she kind of wanted a Zubat. She didn’t really need one, and actually she had just gotten a new pokemon from Huey, not to mention that Togepi she had caught back in Kalos…. She probably needed to focus her attention on the pokemon she had now, instead of daydreaming of a possible addition to the team. “Super Sleuth Susie? I like it! It’s real catchy, but it’s one of those names I bet you couldn’t say five times fast,” she teased.
Lysander scratched his cheek, contemplating the words of Melody’s father, before eventually shrugging. “Sounds about right,” he eventually remarked. “I guess I oughta try doing that then. Who knows, maybe I’ll inspire you to improve yourself,” he joked. He shrugged again, announcing his uncertainty. “Maybe, I dunno. Could look it up on the pokedex,” he suggested nonchalantly. Lysander laughed, “guess so.”
Heather, unaware of Fabian’s plans of escape, grinned before she shook her head at Melody’s question. Legato was a little star, so convincing him to join her in song would be as easy as bringing the idea up to him; of course, this would be after they were on better terms. Heather jumped when Melody snatched Fabian, and looked from one to the other before realization dawned on her. “It’ll be alright, Fabi, really! I don’t think the boat ride is even that long,” she encouraged. Leaving Fabian to Melody, however, the teenage girl continued on with her conversation. “Yeah! I bet it would even be healthy, breathing in all this fresh air, and he likes being active too.” But, Melody did have a point. “Yeah, probably. It’s good to finish what you start,” she agreed.
Once Lysander had returned, and they all had their tickets, the siblings got the opportunity to watch just how badly Fabian’s naviphobia really was. Lysander was rather impressed, at both Melody’s strength and resilience and the severity of Fabian’s fear; it was just… a short ride, he was making a mountain out of a Drillbur hill. He didn’t comment on the display, however, if only because he could feel the glare Heather was sending his way, almost as if she knew what was going through his mind; it probably had something to do with the grin spread across his face, which he hadn’t even been aware of until it was too late, it spoke of no good. They sat down and Cadenza, who’d walked on with Susie, gave his new friend a look of confusion and concern. Was her trainer okay? Had he been attacked with poison?
Legato stared sullenly at Heather, nursing disapproval and disappointment, before he turned to the woman who had greeted him. She was a stranger, but she was much better than his current company, and so he raised himself up and gave a two-flipper wave, “Bri!” Heather pouted, displeased at her pokemon’s cold shoulder but allowed it. “He’s just being overdramatic,” Lysander answered for his sister, glancing over at the Brionne from the corner of his eye. “As always.” Heather shook her head, clearly disagreeing with her brother’s assessment. “He’s not. He’s just… upset with me because, in our last battle, he fainted. We didn’t train enough, and he had to suffer because of it,” she revealed, and halfway through her explanation she turned to look at Melody.

Fabian was still grinning as Heather played along with his joking suggestions on languages to learn next. He was, however, taken by surprise by the question if he’d ever been in love. "Ha ha… what?" He responded, staring at her blankly. It seemed to kick in though and a sheepish look crossed his face, absently scratching at his cheek as he seemed to seriously think about the question. "Ah… nope! How about you?" He responded in a tone that had a ‘wow I really didn’t know how to answer that honestly’ suggestion to it. His smile returned as the question was deflected back to her.
"Mm… maybe! Do Zubats normally coop up in stores though?" He questioned, gently rubbing Orchid between the ears . It was certainly something to think about, though he wasn’t sure if it was entirely plausible. Zubats liked dark places, like caves and… caves. And abandoned buildings. But mostly caves. His mind quickly shifted gears though to the name approval, giving a hearty laugh. "I bet I could with some practice!"
Melody gave a roll of her eyes at the remark, once again giving Lysander a gentle punch to his arm in response. She did have to give him points though and for a moment she considered doing just as he suggested. Soon though they were loaded onto the boat and Fabian had all but shut down as he tried to contain the raging seasickness that threatened to overtake him. Susie gave Cadenza a look and a worried chirp, little wings flapping as she returned her attention to her now green-turning trainer. Even Orchid was squeaking, trying to do what her little Zubat self could to try and soothe the poor man, nudging against his hand that was still holding her.
Melody only gave Fabian a passing glance, instead focusing on Legato as he gave her a little clap of greeting. She smiled and bowed her head just a bit as she returned her hand to her lap, listening carefully as they siblings explained the situation for the attitude. "Oh?" The blonde gave Heather a sympathetic look, reaching a hand out and gently giving the girl’s shoulder a friendly squeeze.
"Don’t beat yourself up, at least you know better for next time," she glanced back at Legato, eyeing the pokemon thoughtfully. "I’m sure he’ll come to realize that you didn’t do it on purpose. Fabi did the same thing with my-… his Scizor." There was a tinge of agitation in her voice bringing that up and if Fabian wasn’t already suffering and whimpering in his own little corner, she might’ve shot him a knowing glare. Given the situation though, it would’ve just been a waste and instead she kept her attention on the siblings, eyebrow quirking at Lysander.
"Oh really? I wonder where he gets it from," she teased, reaching a hand out again and gently rubbing the Brionne on the head. "Who were you fighting? It must’ve been tough to make you worry so much."

Heather couldn’t help but to giggle at the face Fabian made to being asked about being in love. It was the sort you wished you had your camera out, it was priceless! “Aww, that’s a shame. I hear love is a great thing.” Of course, she was only going off the TV shows, movies, and books she’d ever had pass through her throughout her life. But, at the same time, from what she saw from her parents’ failed marriage, it wasn’t for everyone. “Mm, nope~ Never have! Unless you count all those actors in the movies,” she remarked, good humoredly. As interesting a topic as it was, however, she wasn’t interested in staying on it forever and easily skipped ahead to the next one.
“Uh, I dunno!” She shrugged, not an expert in Zubat nesting habits. “Maybe they do when there are storms out, or they confuse it for a cave.” Those both seemed plausible… right? Either way, from what Heather could tell Orchid was in good hands, so… the circumstances didn’t really matter, right? Right? “Haha. Are you sure?” she teased, leaning in towards Fabian with a cheeky grin. “Let’s hear you try it then, mister.”
Lysander wouldn’t lie, as… Fabian as Fabian was, his sea sickness wasn’t something to easily dismiss; at first. But Melody didn’t seem bothered by it, and he trusted her judgement. So once they boarded the boat he settled himself in and put Fabian and his illness in the back of his mind, entertaining himself by watching Cadenza fret with Susie over her trainer. The Spinda toddled back and forth in his odd, never-ending dance as he looked at Fabian. They were on the water now, so he couldn’t go out and find him a flower. Not that he thought fauna would help the poor boy out. He hadn’t even known humans could change their color like that…
“Yeah, maybe…” Heather agreed, though from her tone of voice it was clear that she wasn’t entirely convinced; it didn’t help that, when she tried to catch her pokemon’s attention, he only huffed before closing his eyes entirely. “I really am sorry, Legato,” she apologized, pout still in full force. “If you want, when we get to the city, I’ll buy you a treat or something.” Her offer didn’t budge the huffy Brionne, but… she’d give him some time to think it over. In the meantime, she kept to her conversation with Melody in the hopes of distracting herself. “Oh yeah… I’m sorry that happened, but… I bet he learned from that too,” she suggested, amongst Lysander’s scoff.
For once, it wasn’t in response to the comment on Fabian (he’d ragged on him enough), but rather Melody’s comment. “Certainly not me,” he insisted, but a smile still tugged on his lips. Legato opened his eyes, just a tad, and leaned in to Melody’s pet with a happy ‘bwark’. “We were fighting… Korrina, she’s a fighting type. So we figured, you know, fairy and psychic ought to have been enough.” But boy, were they wrong. That reminded him though, he needed to apologize to Di too.

After Dallas and Naomi gathered all of their stuff from the hotel on Coco Island, the two of them had hit the ferry to take them back to the Alola Region, more specifically, Malie Island. "Apparently it's kinda like Ecruteak City back where I'm from, which is kinda like your Ransei Region, or something," Dallas had explained. Actually, he had looked into it extensively a few days ago when he was up all night, looking at the silly picture of Naomi he had taken with his communicator. "I figure a nerd like you would appreciate it, so, yeah." Dallas was excited and nervous at the same time; it had been a long time since he liked somebody, and making a move, even to the rough n' tumble Dallas Tucker, was frightening.
When they arrived, Dallas hoisted up his own stuff, and disembarked the ship. He hadn't been to Malie City, but he still walked like he knew where he was going. "I'm sure there's some grub around here somewhere," he muttered. "C'mon, Nao-kun, we're burning daylight!" In actuality, it was already sundown, and it was only getting darker. As the sun went down, many lanterns and lamps went on. It was quite pretty and had a warm aesthetic, and if Dallas was pretending to be Austin, he'd compliment it as being such.
"Heh. It's really cheesy, huh? The 1800's called, they want their aesthetic back!" He smirked and glanced at Naomi, before continuing forward again. Eventually, Dallas stopped, having reached a marketplace. "Hum...well, hell. I have no idea where we are.." He scratched his head as he looked around, trying to get his bearings. C'mon, don't screw this up, idiot!
With how much moving they needed to do, and how quickly it needed to get done, Naomi felt it best to return all but Ieyasu to their pokeball so as to hasten the pace. They returned to the 'hotel' just long enough to pack their items before they left it behind to head for the ferry. "Like Ransei?" he repeated Dallas' description, eyes already shining bright at the mere thought. Even if it'd been less than two weeks since he'd left home, Naomi was starting to come down with a case of homesickness, and a little reminder of familiar culture was just what he needed. It didn't take long for him to get settled on the ferry, and with Ieyasu in his lap he smiled appreciatively up at Dallas. "Thank you, Dallas. That is very thoughtful of you!" He would've hugged him, if he thought the blonde would appreciate it.
Naomi kept himself busy, to prevent from bothering Dallas, by bouncing from one activity to the next. When he was allowed to move about the ferry he did exactly that, finding new and entertaining vantage points of the sea to stare at until he grew tired of it and moved on to another section of the boat. After an hour of doing that, Naomi returned to his seat next to Dallas and began to read up on the info on Malie City that his tour book had to offer. It was a beautiful city, from what he could tell from the photo of the city's overview, and its design was influenced heavily by the Johto region, which was similar to Ransei. Located on Ula'Ula Island, the city had much to offer: boasting a garden, a library, and even a restaurant called 'Sushi High Roller'. By the time the teen read the last sentence, his excitement had piqued; he couldn't wait until they arrived!
And if that couldn't be ascertained from the light vibrating he did in his seat, it was certainly obvious by the way he ran off the ferry and onto the dock; he didn't need to be told to hurry up, in fact he had been seconds from uttering those very words to Dallas. He practically skipped underneath the lit lanterns, each one brightening up the quickly darkening sky. "I think it is beautiful!" he exclaimed, spinning around on his geta's to stare at Dallas. He'd, more or less, been allowing him to lead the way, only darting ahead of him when some shop or building caught his attention (which proved to be quite often). Naomi's eyes brightened as they came across a marketplace, and, interested in their wares, he slowed down just long enough to peer down at what they were selling. So intrigued, he almost didn't hear Dallas' statement, but his head popped up nonetheless. "Would you like to look at my tour book?" he asked, always helpful. "It mentions a few places of interest, and their general location. Or, Rotom has a map of all the cities, I am sure he could provide us with directions." The pokemon in question only observed the two from the corner of his eye before going back to his people-watching; he was always being called on, wasn't he?

✪Walking Pokemon ⇨ The way that Naomi bounced around in excitement made Dallas smile slightly, and made him loosen up a little. What a spaz, he thought. He's like a little kid or something. It sort of bothered him, how happy and nice Naomi was. So unlike himself. Dallas decided to let the thought slide and think about the task at hand; figuring out what to do for food. He had promised his pupil a nice dinner, after all.
So, when the ever helpful Naomi offered up his tour book, Dallas snatched it up. Gimme that..." he started to flip through the pages quickly, skimming through the different places of interest. "I'm lucky I have such a nerd around," he said, half serious. "Let's see...okay, this place looks good enough. Sushi High Roller." And just as rudely as he had took the tour book, he held it up in Rotom's face with just as much crassness. "Alright, Rotom, take us here, please!"

After a pleasant jaunt through Malie City, they made it to Sushi High Roller. It was definitely a nice place, the nicest in the city, to be exact. "Right on..looks good to me! Let's get some grub!" Dallas attempted to step inside, but was stopped at the door by a man in old-fashioned Johto-style garb. "I'm sorry, sir, but there is a strict dress code here at Sushi High Roller." He motioned to the signage next to the door, that clearly stated: Traditional Clothing Only. "If you wish to dine here, you'll have to abide," the greeter explained. "May I suggest a yukata, much like your friend here?" Dallas glared at the greeter before glancing at Naomi. "So you're tellin' me I gotta get a freakin' dress to eat here? Well I got two words for you, pal..."
Now, Dallas was just about to sock the greeter and give him a big "******** you!", but, he thought about Naomi, and how excited his pupil had been. "I'll be back! Yeah, I know, it's three words, screw you!" He turned on his heel, and put his hands on Naomi's shoulders. "Okay, loser, I never thought I'd say this, but...help me find a silly dress like yours, okay?"
Fabian just gave an absent nod as the conversation moved from the talk of love and then to Zubats. Heather made some good points and it got him thinking about Orchid’s situation. He was grinning at her response to his gest, sticking his tongue out playfully. "Hey! I did say with some practice! Gimme a week or two then you’ll be eating your words!"
Of course, all the playful banter and such was quickly washed away with the boat ride and Fabian’s horrible state of seasickness. In fact, he caught a gander of Cadenza toddling this way and that and something about the motion just made his stomach flip twice as much; it wasn’t the pokemon’s fault that, by nature, it couldn’t keep its balance but well the visual didn’t help. Susie watched with concern as Fabian pretty much ran for a boat ledge, leaving Orchid on the seat behind with confusion on her little face. Susie wasn’t quite sure what to do at this point to be honest…
Melody only gave Fabian a side glance as he went to the boat’s side, returning her attention to Heather and the lack of confidence in her tone as she responded. She frowned a bit at the Brionne’s response to the girl’s pleas of forgiveness, feeling rather bad for Heather. She certainly was sincere, Melody thought to herself a moment it before becoming distracted as the conversation continued. As much as she wanted to not bad mouth Fabian given his current state, it was hard to hide the disappointed look on her face. "I certainly hope so," she remarked, though it was evident even she had her doubts. It wasn’t hard to remember the way Fabian had acted in response to her scolding.
"You sure? It certainly seems like something you’d do," she teased again, reaching both hands out and lightly poking Lysander in the cheek while still gently patting the pokemon. "I’d say you even have the same sort of grumpy faces. What do you think, Heather?" She listened as he answered her inquiry about the gym leader they were fighting. Korrina? "She’s the one on the roller blades isn’t she?" That sounded about right. "Well you certainly went in with the right type set. So what happened? Just under powered?" Because not winning with type advantages usually meant a lack of power to make full force of it. Which was something that happened of course, as the two siblings seemed bright enough on the strategy front.

“You are very lucky,” Naomi agreed, confidently, though with the same too wide grin as ever. He waited patiently for Dallas to decide on where they would go, and perked up when he decided on Sushi High Roller. “I was looking at that restaurant!” he confessed with excitement, glad to know that they’d be headed to a restaurant that specialized in foods he was common with. The boy joined his teacher in glancing over at Rotom, eagerly awaiting for the possessed pokedex to lead the way. Rotom stared blankly at the open-faced book in front of him, his look bordering on deadpanning, before he glanced up at Dallas, equally as unamused with him as he was the book. An electronic sigh fell from the ‘dex, but eventually he did start to lead the two to their destination. “Thank you very much, Rotom!” Naomi called, above the pokemon’s mumbled complaints. “Yeah, yeah…” He held back a smile, ever grateful towards the pokemon even when presented with his relentless attitude, and moved quickly to walk at Dallas’ side, only ever straying every five seconds; an improvement from before.
Naomi’s eyes brightened upon their arrival, and while excited he didn’t brush past Dallas to get inside, though the idea did present itself to him, instead he waited for the blonde to enter first before following. Only, that never happened. He pushed up on his tiptoes to peer over Dallas’ shoulder at the greeter who stopped them at the door, surprise lighting his features when he was referenced to. Dallas would… need a yukata? Naomi made the motion to gasp, minusing the actual sound, and grinned widely at the events to unfold. He’d get to go shopping, with Dallas! And help him choose a yukata to wear! “Yes! Okay! Just one second, please~” Naomi took his tour book back, eyes furiously scanning its pages until he found mention of a shop that ‘specialized in modern Johto attire’, and afterwards grabbed hold of Dallas’ hand. “I found a store!” That was the only warning he gave before he started running, dragging the taller male behind him in his excited rush.
Even with his frantic running, it still took Naomi a few minutes to find the store. The teen hummed as he pushed open the door, a bell from above announcing their arrival, and released Dallas’ hand in favor of stepping farther into the shop. He gasped softly as his gaze fell upon the row of traditional Japanese clothing; brightly colored kimonos, with matching hakamas and obis not far behind, yukatas, furisode (not that either of them would have much use for it), and so much more! “I will go get you a tailor,” Naomi announced, spinning around just briefly to face Dallas before he ran off. “You wait here!” Finding someone to assist them was easy, far easier than actually picking out an outfit, and as he came bustling back, an amused tailor behind him, he began selecting options he believed would work best. “Okay!” He clapped. “We shall get your measurements, and then start searching!” Just getting Dallas dressed, this was possibly more exciting than going to the restaurant itself!

Heather chuckled, right before sticking her tongue out at Fabian in response. “Fine, fine. One week.” She held up a single finger, representative of the time she was allotting him. “And then we’ll see just how well you’ve mastered this. If you fail then….” She paused, trying to decide just what sort of horrible punishment would await Fabian if he was unable to, successfully, go through the tongue-twister. “...Well, you’ll just have to find out! But truuuust me, it’ll be horrible. A total deterrent,” Heather assured. She just… had to think of something!
Heather felt really, really bad for Fabian, it was hard to keep a smile around the guy, when he was boasting a rather uncanny impression of a Gulpin (all green in the face and puffy cheeks), and running off at the sight of the toddling Cadenza; the sight alone was enough to make her consider this being punishment enough. “Hey, come over here, Cadenza,” the redhead ushered gently, and then leaned over to pull him up to sit beside her. He murmured in concern, leaning out to watch Fabian’s retreating form, and then looked to Susie with a paw pressed over his mouth. Her trainer… he really needed an Antidote, or something. Heather smiled gently at her pokemon before patting the top of his head gently, which earned her a soft coo in response; at least one of her pokemon still liked her.
Lysander made a sound before waving away Melody’s finger, only slightly amused at her antics. “Mmmmm.” Heather glanced up, not to Melody but her brother this time, and couldn’t help but to laugh, quietly, at the disgruntled expression he held. “I think you might be onto something, Melody.” She laughed again when, upon realizing the kind of face he was making, Lysander grunted before he forced his face to relax and folded his arms over his chest. “You both need glasses,” he grumbled. His ‘ill temper’ didn’t last for long, and eventually Lysander stretched his legs out and dropped his hands to his side. “Yeah, that’s her,” he confirmed, with only a hint of disdain tainting his voice. “They weren’t strong enough. We -- I, rushed our training because I wanted to get that third badge, it entitled us to the use of a ride pager during the egg event.” In hindsight, they could’ve spared more time for their training; being able to fly around the regions wasn’t that important.
It wasn’t long after that their boat blew its horn, alerting the passangers to the fast approaching land, and soon they were docking. Lysander stood to his feet, and once he’d stabled himself he helped Heather’s to hers. “Let’s get going,” he urged, and as they walked off he spared a glance in Fabian’s direction, this would… probably make him feel better. From the docks to the gardens, it wasn’t hard to find the latter, considering how large a tourist attraction it was (and just large in general), and Lysander waited until their merry band had gathered together before leading the way past the archway.
