▾PersonalityQuiet - Fallon tends to be a very quiet person. Not so much in how she moves, but in how much she says. She prefers to watch and observe rather than speak before she is aware of something. This trait has also helped her to avoid any major confrontation with those around her. Since she takes time to think before she speaks she rarely says something that will entice anger from another. However, there is a down side to this. Some people, if they have a short temper, may think that she is ignoring them at first.
Passive - Since she is looked after by the Sanctum and has limited self-defense skills, Fallon tends to be fairly passive/submissive. There is rarely a time when she will go against the grain. It goes hand in hand with her quiet nature and makes her seem very weak-willed or simply weak in general.
Modest - This is a trait that had been present before her time with the other priestesses but was made that much stronger because of them. In her eyes she has everything that she needs in life. A simple life. Any riches or excess trinkets she gets she usually donates to others.
Fallon has followed the rules of the Sanctum ever since she was taken from her family at a young age. She needed to only be taught them once and she remembered them. This made her a bright student and ready to absorb the information that the others taught her. She strives to make her peers both proud of her and respectful of her. Fallon makes prayers on a regular basis and helps in any way she can. To her it is simply part of her civic duties as a young priestess.
▾Quirks She tends to make swirls with just about anything but favors white and black rocks
▾History Fallon was the second child to two doting parents. She has an older sister, Nesryn, that she looked up to in the early years. When Fallon started to display signs that she was chosen by the gods her parents were happy but also fearful. They knew that once the secret was out that their daughter would be taken from them. While they didn't want to keep Fallon away from her calling they did want to have just a little more time with her. So they kept her inside their family home most of the time.
It wasn't until Fallon was around the age of five that someone from the outside truly saw her for what she was. The stranger watched as the long haired child would shift rocks and crystals on the ground until they all formed a perfect spiral of exactly three rings. She would do this over and over again. After that it was only a matter of days before the Sanctum heard about her and came to collect.
She remembers little of that day since her attention had been so focused on the spiral she was trying to make. Fallon had been working on one with a mix of quarts and granite when her sister came over and destroyed the whole thing. At the time she didn't understand why Nesryn had done such a thing and only tried to start over. Before she knew it she was being picked up by some unknown person and carried off. Since her formation had never been finished her mind refused to truly focus on anything else.
When she was finally at her new home her attention was gained by a kind woman that gave her the means to finish what her mind demanded she do. After that she became an apt learner of all things that this woman wanted her to know. The history of their island, the wars on the mainland, and as she got older she was even taught about the extremists and their ilk.

━━━━━━ ● ━━━━━Earthling: Y a e l i
▾The Land The island of Yael is home to the yaeli earthlings, a surprisingly odd race of earthlings that have evolved over time to suit their surrounding. Yael was once the destination of those cast off in exile from the mainland of Tendaji. The outcasts, the hybrids, the criminals, and the mentally unwell were shipped off to the coast of Yael, left to either figure out a way to survive, or die off. After hundreds of years, the island was forgotten, and the mix of races on Yael merged and melded into one: the Yaeli. This group shares genetic material from seemingly all races of earthlings of Tendaji. Though the island has long since flourished and the genetic blend has taken on its own set of racial markers.
The skin of the Yaeli takes on dull olive tones, often tanning or freckling from the harsh sun and hot weather. The chemicals and pollution permanently rooted in the soil and ground underfoot has turned their crystals and sclera a dark, deep black. The Yaeli's hair is purple tones of all shades, and their crystals tend to form on their stomachs predominantly, but can be found anywhere on their bodies.
Their eyes are a light gray color, and oddly enough, the chemicals in the soil has caused the Yaeli's irises to glow. The same chemicals also tend to leave the Yaeli with bad eyesight, sometimes from birth. Those that leave the island - and consequently change their diet - lose their glow, though it does seem to return with some time back on the island.
Their access to dyes and coloring for their clothes leave them with a dull color palette, containing many different hues, but no vibrancy in their clothing. The people of Yael wrap themselves in loose airy clothing, as an attempt to keep the heat and humidity away.
Once cast off from the mainland, the Yaeli over time have developed a phobia of the mainlanders, fearing their evils, and effectually creating a boogeyman vibe concerning the rest of Tendaji. ▾Religion The yaeli believe in only two dieties: the Goddess and the God. Lurin is the God of the Land of the Remembered, a place where those who have died have living relatives to carry on their names and celebrate their life. Dafiel is the Goddess of the Land of the Forgotten, where souls come under the watch of their Mother when there is no longer anyone to mourn for them.
Lurin The male God, God of the Land of the Remembered, often depicted as the light side of the deities Dafiel The female Goddess, Goddess of the Land of the Forgotten often depicted as the darker side of the deities
The Yaeli are also incredibly superstitious in nature. They believe that if bad things are happening to them that the gods are displeased, and if something bad is happening to an individual that they have been hexed or there is someone out there sending them bad juju out of jealousy or anger. They believe in cleansing their houses of bad spirits and getting their children blessed at the Sanctum to protect them from the dead. Their list of superstitions can get pretty lengthy. ▾Government The Yaeli have developed a government ruled by their religious leaders. The Sanctum (their official estate) holds a hierarchy of priests and priestesses, with a male High Priest and female High Priestess as their leaders. The High Priest and Priestess are the mortal voice of the two deities and are only replaced when they age and retire. Young children are often chosen from the villages for showing some sign of being "touched" by the two gods and are pulled into the Sanctum for the beginning of their training as priests and priestesses, though only one boy and one girl are chosen to replace the High Priest/Priestess when the time comes. Some of the children do not make it to the end of their training and assume positions of small religious governing under the lesser priests/priestesses creating something resembling a council.
