Scorpa is first and foremost an aggressive troll but she wasn’t always that way. Once Scorpa made it through the trials and made a hive for herself in society, she learned that life for lowbloods isn’t awesome. As a yellowblood she is above the bottom of the totem pole but knows that she is still a lowblood. While she had privilege over redbloods and orangebloods, it wasn’t much and left her wanting some way to increase her lot in life. She started off fairly nice to others as they were her main form of attention and affection but her occasional violent tendencies would scare others off. She began to feel frustrated with her inability to succeed in relationships and her place in the hemospectrum.
She found a possible solution to her rank in society one day when she considered that she had the ability to manipulate the hemospectrum to her advantage. By siding with highbloods, she could paint herself as a lowblood of exceptional quality, and rise through the ranks that way.
Scorpa views the hemospectrum as a guide for how to treat others and doesn't see any use or need in changing it. After convincing herself she could use the hemospectrum to help her navigate society, she grew to embrace it. She believes that most trolls fall into accurate categories of usefulness according to the system with only a few anomalies (such as herself). If other trolls aren't happy with how they're being treated then they should buck up and show how useful and powerful they are to rise through the ranks! It sounds hard but hey she's doing it so at least she's not a hypocrite!
The main talent Scorpa one-day believes she will bring to the table is her fighting ability. She isn't squeamish about blood or getting physically hurt. Scorpa can't wait for the day her lusus will let her join the Royal military and fight! Strong from self training, this troll hones her body and aims to be a powerful soldier for the Royal forces. As a child she doesn't have a ton of real battle experience but she's participated in a lot of small scuffles. She isn't as strong as she'd like to be but follows her exercise regime and is open to trying anything if someone convinces her that it'll give her a boost
No matter how dangerous, she believes that most highbloods would be okay with a mere lowblood rising through the ranks as a meat shield or whatever they'd want to write her off as. Scorpa views highbloods as possible patrons and while she doesn’t want to die for trolls she doesn’t know, she is aware that she will have to make sacrifices for them and get hurt to prove she’s serious. For highbloods that have agreed to sponsor and endorse her, Scorpa is more than happy to jump into things and do dirty work for them. Her goal is to one day earn the respect, trust, and favor of the queen. She wants to serve her queen and prove that she belongs. When the queen accepts her, that is when Scorpa feels she will have made it. Scorpa aims to cozy up with as many highbloods as she can. She has no issue with them as they are key to her acceptance in the society she wants to join.
Scorpa isn’t so naïve to think her ambition will be easy. She knows many highbloods look down on her and won’t give her a chance. She expects them to. Scorpa is stubborn and determined and believes that as long as she keeps on showing that she understands the rules and is useful, eventually more and more highbloods will be forced to admit she is an exceptional lowblood. She has accepted this challenging task knowing that the road ahead is difficult and daunting. When encountering highbloods who consistently show disgust and refuse to accept her, Scorpa does her best to not give them any further reasons to mock or hate her and goes out of her way to either please or avoid if that seems a better action depending on the situation.
Scorpa has trouble balancing her loneliness and need for affection with her desire to climb to a higher status. She craves feeling loved and affection but knows that her ambition to climb up the ranks will be difficult and force her to make choices that will not always result in adoration from everyone. Lowbloods are not likely to appreciate her antics as she steps over them. Certain highbloods might approve of her ambition while others might find it distasteful and dislike her the more she works on her career. It's a difficult place to be and Scorpa does not know how to handle this problem very well. As Scorpa faces more challenges and has to make more choices, she'll be forced to navigate this territory and see what she finds most important.
Highbloods are not always open-minded with her and she knows not to expect them to give her a chance. Instead she has to constantly prove herself and show them she deserves one as a special case. However, she feels comfortable knowing what to generally expect from highbloods.
Lowbloods are harder for Scorpa to deal with because she has conflicting feelings about them. In most situations Scorpa is fine talking with and befriending lowbloods as long as they do not jeopardize her future life goals. She does not like lowbloods who dislike the hemospectrum but aren’t doing anything to improve their situation. She does like trolls who praise her with affection and attention. If a troll were to show her kindness, it would intrigue Scorpa and cause her to seek them out again. Depending on how determined the troll was, it’d be possible to earn her friendship or at least make her hesitate to turn on you.
Scorpa doesn’t full-on bash every lowblood she comes across but she makes efforts to jump on any band-wagons she sees any highbloods on. If she meets a known outcast or controversial lowblood troll, she is likely to tease and taunt them if any highbloods are around. If the lowbloods challenge her somehow in any form when they respond, she will become interested in them. Either Scorpa will want to put them down and prove her superiority or she will try to figure out what makes them so brave.
While Scorpa might like to play things off like she’s just looking for tools for a network and isn’t afraid of rejection because it isn’t anything personal to her, she does want some true friends. She is a very affectionate troll and likes to chat with others. When she meets trolls who reciprocate her humor or seem to enjoy her company, she steps up her efforts to test the waters and will go out of her way to show them that she likes them. This is done through physical affection and making gestures, as she isn’t exactly rich. It can hard to be friends with Scorpa at times, due to her volatile nature, but for those who can see past the dramatics and outbursts, she is a very passionate friend.
Scorpa will only turn on her true friends if they do something that will make it hard for her to associate with them while also pursuing her career (for example, offended a powerful important highblood.) The other time she'd consider betraying her friends is if they abuse her trust. This entails actions such as using information she's confessed about herself against her, trash talking her to highbloods behind her back, and purposefully detaching themselves from her. She doesn't show her vulnerable side often so if she considers herself betrayed first, she has trouble controlling her anger. Scorpa doesn't take petty gossip too personally since she enjoys participating in stuff like that but once anything touches on her private insecurities she will try to take revenge unless it's against a highblood. In the case of a highblood wronging her, she will grit her teeth and bare it but secretly form a grudge.
Scorpa enjoys parkour, rapping, and fashion as additional hobbies. She saw some trolls performing cool stunts around NHC and was hooked instantly. Scorpa loves to be physically active and views parkour as a fun way to push her limits. Scorpa also believes parkour help her in the long run when she joins the military. She wants to be prepared to handle any fight or chase, especially when things go wrong and she's without all of her equipment. Her body is to be her most honed tool. Right now Scorpa has gotten the basics of what parkour is down but she is by no means an expert but rather an experimenter. She has decent control of her body but is still figuring out the best ways to use it to pull off the moves and stunts she wants to learn. She hopes to find other trolls who practice parkour so she can see what they do and try to apply it to herself. Likewise, Scorpa is not shy about showing off her moves when she's got a willing audience or anyone interested in learning from her!
Rap is her favorite musical genre and she likes to listen to well known rappers in Alternia. Scorpa feels the rhythmic beat and rhymes are a better version of poems. She wanted to like other forms of music but doesn't have a great singing voice and found rap to be easier to chant along with. Plus some of the themes of trash-talking and praising oneself are things that Scorpa identifies with. She is good at speaking fast and keeping up with rap tracks, seeming to find memorizing popular raps fun. Scorpa isn't exactly smart but does enjoy the useless intellectual challenge of learning raps to show off to her friends later. She's gotten decent at freestyling verses when rap battling with others for fun.
Scorpa's passion for fashion comes from wanting physical objects to wear and express to others that she's got money and status. While fashion isn't considered the most important form of self-expression on Alternia, it's still a way that Scorpa can try to present herself to others. She likes to wear eye-catching statements to draw attention to herself. Scorpa doesn't have a lot of money to fund her shopping dreams but does her best to save up for what she can aspire to. Scorpa sometimes splurges her budget for pieces that she can wear in a bunch of different ways and simply dress up with cheaper trendy items for now. For Scorpa it's important to be seen, talked about, and admired. She likes controversial and provocative clothing but knows that she can't wear it until she's a little older.

Strengths:
Confident - This is no false air, Scorpa truly believes she is awesome. She might not be incredibly book-smart but she thinks she's clever enough to have thought through her plan. Secure in who she is, Scorpa rarely doubts herself and when she does it doesn't last very long. Scorpa's confidence comes from her dedication to becoming stronger- basically because she knows how much hardwork she's put into herself.
Tough - Scorpa has a pretty thick skin, it takes a lot to break her. She's had her fair share of scrapes and was born with a high pain tolerance. She is not only tough physically but also mentally; she will laugh off any attempts to insult or demean her. Even when trolls touch upon sensitive topics for her, Scorpa is not the type to cry or give up. Instead she is the type to keep fighting and climbing to the top. Whenever a troll says something that truly hurts her, Scorpa keeps a poker face on and doesn't let it show. She only lets close friends she really trusts know about her insecurities and even then doesn't bring them up often.
Lively - Because Scorpa is so sure of herself, she is very animated and full of energy. Scorpa likes to be active and out doing things so she's the type of troll who goes around and gets involved with others. Something eventful is sure to happen whenever Scorpa gets invited to activities. She's on the dramatic side when her temper comes out but she is equally as loud and full of energy when she is out with friends having fun. The type of troll who likes to act as a catalyst and get things started, Scorpa is your go-to girl if you want to rile something up.
Flaws:
Impulsive - Scorpa has a long term goal planned out but in her everyday life she has less self control. She believes she has control over herself, she just "sometimes" lets things go- but this is a load of crap. Sometimes she'll do something stupid just for the hell of it to see what'll happen as well. In these cases she will openly admit so. However, she frequently will make quick judgement calls without a ton of thought behind it (though she thinks she's thought it through). Sometimes these decisions work out fine but they often end up a problem later. She doesn't like to admit she was wrong or did something too hastily and refuses to apologize to people if she doesn't have to (aka lowerbloods). If a highblood calls her into question, she'll usually back down and try to save face. For the most part she doesn't want to burn bridges with her future highblood contacts and will swallow her pride even if she secretly feels frustrated. One day it'll pay off, right? Everyone below her on the hemospectrum is out of luck on an apology unless they have something valuable to offer or turn out to be amusing.
Violent - This could be considered a positive to some trolls but Scorpa tends to be violent in excess. She views violence as a perfectly acceptable answer to most situations and has no reservations about hurting other trolls/creatures. Scorpa thinks it a great way to show how willing she is to keep others in check for the highbloods. There seems to be a natural tendency for her to jump to punches and fighting underneath her objectives as well, suggesting her lusus encouraged this behavior as it raised her. Scorpa will never back down from a fight with a lowblood, even when the conflict of self-preservation arises.
Jealous - When Scorpa sees another troll has something she wants, she will grow irritated and jealous. She turns mean and nasty to the troll, starting out in a playful manner but her behavior can be agitated into full-on violence. Usually Scorpa grows jealous over things like affection/love, privilege, belongings, and food. She is not restricted to these topics, though and can become jealous over anything. It is pretty obvious when she gets irritated from this and makes her easy to manipulate if managed well by a devious troll.

Home: While New Hemisect City is hard for Scorpa to afford to live in, she has made it her home. The military presence drew her in and Scorpa loves the comforts that city life provides, even if her hive is a bit smaller than she wanted. She lives in a communal apartment complex on one of the higher floors but not the penthouse. It gives her a decent view and legs one hell of a work out when the elevator malfunctions. She keeps the basic necessities and some weights to tone with but nothing extreme. Scorpa's hive is more of the place she goes in order to sleep and then leaves. She doesn't spend much time at her hive.
Lusus: Scorpa's lusus is a scorpion mixed with an armadillo lizard named Pradapalps, nicknamed Prada. Dangerous and short tempered, it's a miracle Scorpa survived this long with such a cruel and sharp parent guiding her. Prada raised Scorpa to be fairly independent with the expectation that the troll would grow up and leave quickly. Prada has had scorpion children before who did just that and scurried off into the wild so Scorpa turned out to be a disappointment. Now saddled with caring for the child for a far longer amount of time than she expected, Prada has resigned to feeding her troll but only doing what is necessary. It has been made clear that the lusus feels obligated and not fulfilling the role out of love. Prada plans to call on Scorpa when she's older and indebted to her, since all the time she's put into this project should pay off, right? Prada shows affection rarely, which causes Scorpa to crave praise and prove herself constantly. Scorpa's lusus acts as a distant mother of sorts, one who lets her child handle things mostly on her own but will come forth and destroy any threats if they should arise.
