xxxI was running out of room in my first diary, so I decided to make a digital one instead of getting another physical one. That, and it's kind of hard to really alter stuff in a physical diary without using a pencil, or tearing pages out or trying to tape new ones in, and that doesn't work too well. I should know, I tried. I don't know how many posts will be public, since this is mostly for me and not anyone else, but I guess we'll see. There probably won't be many.
xxxAll right, let's see... I've lived in Camphoreon my whole life, but I used to go on trips to different regions and countries a lot with my parents while growing up. That all changed the summer after I turned eighteen, and things only went downhill from there. My family went bankrupt, my first and favorite pokemon was stolen from me, I lost a lot of people I thought were friends, I got shot, Father died in the same car accident that I lost my hand in, and I lost count of all the times I thought I would lose one or both of my best friends. Some good things have happened, though; I still have my best friends, I got Anastasia back, I still have Mother and all of my other pokemon. I still miss Father, of course, but it isn't as bad as it was right after the accident. I'm finally getting a new arm, too; I haven't wanted one since the accident because they're usually so ugly and useless, but one of my friends has one that's actually really cool and super useful, so I'm in the process of getting one like his. Not exactly the same, of course, but it'll at least function more or less like a real hand. I'll be glad to have two hands again. You wouldn't believe how hard everything becomes when you suddenly only have one hand to use instead of two.

History: On my tenth birthday my parents gifted me a little Eevee with heart-shaped markings they bought from a breeder, and she evolved into an Umbreon a few years later. She quickly became my best friend, we went everywhere and did everything together. I didn't have many real friends growing up, so Anya has always been incredibly special to me. She's been with me through pretty much everything. The only time she wasn't was for the year after she was stolen away from me, from July 2012 until July 2013. I wish I were exaggerating when I say that was the longest, hardest year of my life. I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to her again.
Personality: Anastasia is the sweetest Umbreon I've ever met. She's loyal to a fault and sticks to me like glue - so much so that I'm starting to wonder if she has some sort of separation anxiety thing or something - and I'm still surprised she put up with me for so long when I was nothing but a spoiled brat before. She loves cuddling up with people, getting attention and being brushed, enjoys spending time with my friends and their pokemon, although she doesn't seem to like Jasmine much, not that I can blame her. She's good friends with a Leafeon named Happa. Cupcakes and danishes are her favorite treats, especially if they're made with berries. I don't really know what else to say about her except she's perfect and wonderful and she's one of my best friends.

History: Mother bought Jasmine from a breeder back in 2005 sometime, I think, and spent quite a lot to get her. She bought a Water Stone to evolve her with almost immediately, then right after that she ordered a bunch of custom jewelry for her to wear, though Jasmine usually only wears her favorites from those pieces (intricate earrings, a satin collar with a gemstone pendant, and a set of swirling bracelets for her forelegs and tail). After someone in Team Rocket stole her, she was missing for about a year and a half, I think, before Mother got her back. She's been with us ever since, although Mother makes me take her out more often than she does ever since she came back. I don't think the time she spent while stolen really affected her like Anya's did.
Personality: A spoiled brat that's rotten to the core. Haughty, opinionated, and downright incorrigible at times; I think I had a lot in common with her when I was younger, but the big difference now is I've changed, but she hasn't. If anything her behavior worsened after she got back, but it improved a bit once we moved into a better apartment. She's still downright horrible, but not quite as bad. She doesn't seem to like or even get along with any other pokemon, only seems to tolerate them at best, and I can't help but feel she only tolerates us, too. I know Mother loves her to death, but I honestly can't tell if Jasmine really even likes either of us. Maybe one day she'll get over herself and behave better, but I'm not about to hold my breath for that one.

History: Mother and Father bought Isabella for me as a gift for my 17th birthday. At the time she was just a tiny baby, and they'd been told she was a real shiny Absol. It took her a little over a year to become fully grown - I'm not sure why, given she probably should've finished growing much earlier than that - but a year later I learned that she wasn't a real shiny like my parents had been told, not that that makes any difference to me. A year after that she was shot by a Rocket, and just three months after that she was injured again during an explosion set off by another Rocket. She healed up perfectly after both injuries and has been focusing almost entirely on training ever since.
Personality: True to her nature, Isabella is and always has been very serious. She's loyal, protective, and hard-working; she gets along well with most of my other pokemon, but she's always been at odds with Jacques since I got him, and she's not too fond of Agatha, either, and seems to be the only one of the team that can put her in her place. Training and battling are her favorite things to do, and that coupled with how hard-working she is have combined to make her my strongest pokemon. I think she's proud of that fact, at least internally, because any time I joke about how Jacques or Agatha could surpass her strength, she bristles and gets huffy about it, and she won't calm down until she's battled or trained more than they have. Despite the fact she's never been a wild pokemon, she prefers hunting for fresh food - alongside Agatha - over being given more commercial food.

History: When I caught Mordecai, I may or may not have thought he was a dark-type at the time because of his coloring. For a while I wasn't sure if I'd keep him or not - I only liked dark- and ghost-types at the time, and didn't want anything else - but I figured he would eventually be useful to some degree (plus he kept giving me such sad, pitiful looks) so I decided to keep him. I'm glad I did, he's been incredibly helpful to me, my family and my friends this whole time. He was especially helpful after my accident, too, when I was still getting used to only having one hand to do everything with. He evolved into a Metang five or six months after I first caught him.
Personality: Incredibly eager to please, Mordecai acts more like a personal butler than anything else, but he always seems happy to do it. He's behaved that way since before I caught him so I can't help but wonder where he came from before I did catch him, since I'm pretty sure he wasn't just born that way in the wild. Regardless, he seems to thoroughly enjoy helping me out with things, whether it's carrying things or opening bottles or whatever, and for that I'm grateful. Even though he's got such a good disposition for that sort of thing, he does seem to enjoy battling and training - or at least, he acts like he does - even if he isn't as good at it as my main three pokemon.
History: I went on a journey around Hoenn with some of my friends for a couple months a few years ago, and while we were there I found and captured Giselle. Before we got back to Kodo, I found a Dusk Stone at a store and bought it to evolve her with. She's trained hard with my team practically since day one, and alongside Anastasia, Giselle is one of the pokemon that I have out with me more than any other. That's for a few different reasons, though, none of which I'll put here.
Personality: Giselle has always been pretty easy-going, I think. She seemed interested in joining my team when I caught her, and she's always been easy to train and get along with. She gets along well with all of my other pokemon too - except Jacques when he's being annoying - but seems to enjoy spending time with Anya and Luna the most. While always friendly and happy enough meeting others, she usually prefers to stay invisible and quiet whenever she's out and about. I've noticed sometimes she goes through sad periods, too, though I'm not sure why. While I do train her, she doesn't have the same passion for battling that Isabella and Jacques do, though she works hard despite that. I trust her completely, especially since she's helped me and my friends out before, and as a bonus I can actually talk to her. I think that's brought us a little closer together. Luke is her favorite of my friends.

History: My best friend Rosie and I went to an auction at a ranch a few years ago, and they had a sister pair of Rapidash up for sale. Rosie adored one and I adored the other, so Mother helped both of us win them so they could sort of stay together. Luna's been with me ever since, and the same can be said of her sister, Celestia, with Rosie. At first Luna didn't seem too sure about the arrangement, but she warmed up to it - and me - eventually, and has grown more accustomed to letting me ride her. I think at first she only tolerated it, but now I think she enjoys it and going for rides down the beach or outside the city. For a long time though she wasn't even remotely interested in battling, but she changed her mind all of a sudden one day and has trained hard ever since.
Personality: It took a few months for Luna to adjust to being part of the team. For a while she didn't really seem to know how to interact with my other pokemon - or me - and she didn't seem too happy with things, but I guess she's just not very adaptable. She eventually warmed up to us and now she likes spending time with most of my pokemon - Giselle especially - though I think her favorite will always be her sister, and that's just fine. While she can sometimes have a sort of commanding presence, she only seems to have it when Isabella isn't around, and is generally a pretty quiet pokemon. This probably goes without saying given her name and her markings, but she loves being out at night, especially on a clear night when we can see all the stars.

History: My parents decided to try and cheer me up by buying me a Sneasel for my birthday the year Anastasia was missing. They bought her from a trainer who claimed she was tame and well-trained, but I learned almost immediately that neither of those things were true. I'm pretty sure Agatha had only just barely been caught from living in the wild before whoever it was turned around and sold her. Thankfully she's never gotten violent with me or my other pokemon - except in battles, of course - and it took a while to teach her that pokemon belonging to other trainers can't be hunted like wild pokemon, but she's definitely improved since the rocky start we had. She evolved sometime last year, I forget exactly when it was, but I know it took a while.
Personality: Quiet, brash, cunning, and head-strong, Agatha has been a handful since the day I got her - and not in the same way Jacques was a handful. While she loves battling, if I don't keep an eye on her then she tends to get more and more violent with her attacks. She's difficult to deal with, difficult to train, and difficult to discipline, and she has difficulties getting along with my other pokemon. Thankfully Isabella can curb her more unsavory tendencies and keep her in line when I can't or when I'm not there to do so. She prefers hunting for fresh food - alongside Isabella - over being given more commercial food. I actually don't think she likes commercial pokemon food at all, as she doesn't touch the stuff unless she hasn't gotten to hunt in too long. I try to let her hunt often though, because otherwise she starts looking at other trainers' pokemon funny.

iFirst entry!
xxx Whew, okay, I finally finished setting this thing up, I think. It's still kind of weird having a journal on the internet where anyone can see it, as opposed to having a physical one, but I guess it's something I'll get used to eventually. Or maybe I won't and I'll make all of my future entries private, who knows? I don't, not yet anyway. But at least the profile part is done - or I think it is, anyway - so now I won't have to really do anything with this except write new entries whenever I feel like it.
xxx I don't know how often I'll write entries though, at least at first. Have you ever tried typing one-handed? Maybe if you're eating or drinking or doing something at the same time, and if so then probably not for very long. If that's the only way you can type then you learn really quick that it sucks. Like holy s**t, it is SO slow typing everything forever with just one hand. It's been about a month since I got the nerve thing in the end of my arm, and even if the whole thing is still really sore, it isn't as bad as it was at first, and I think I get my new hand soon. I've been assured it's cool and should function more or less like a real hand, but with some added features. It won't have as many as my friend's has, but it should still have some cool things on it. I can't wait to see it, and see for myself if it works as well as I've been told. Last I heard they were putting the finishing touches on it though, so it should be ready sometime next week I think. We'll see, I guess.

iDelays delays DELAYS and STUPID EXCUSES
xxx UGH. Ugh ugh ugh ugh UGH. So I was supposed to get my new hand a week or so after my last entry, right? That's what they promised. Except oh, wait, they had some more tests to run, and then tweaks to make, and little things to fix, and more s**t I don't even know what it was that kept delaying it and delaying it until today. Today, it was actually, finally ready. Like, really finally ready. So Mother and I went to go get it and make sure everything was good. No problem, right?
xxx WRONG. Oh, so very wrong. I don't know who ******** up or how or where, but all I know is someone did and my new hand I've been waiting for for months now? Yeah, it didn't fit. I couldn't attach it to the thing on the end of my arm because I don't even know why. What were all those extensive measurements they took before, that they double- and triple-checked? What was the point of those if they were just going to ******** them up anyway? UGH.
xxx So all that means I can't get my arm until they gut it and fix it to actually fit on the rod in my arm, and I don't know how long that'll take. They have to redo a good chunk of the thing, maybe half? Maybe more? I don't know, some amount of it. It really sucks, I've been looking forward to getting this new hand for ages now and this is what I get. I mean, seriously, what's up with that s**t? Ugh. Oh well. I've waited this long, I guess I can wait a few more months, or however long it'll take. I guess.

xxx Like the title says I still don't have a hand yet, and I still don't know when I'll get one. All everyone keeps saying is 'soon' and that's the most unspecific time period ever. Ugh. Oh well I guess. They at least promised to add another feature or two to it to make up for ******** it up in the first place, so if that ends up being cool then maybe it'll make up for having to wait so much longer. Maybe. That's a big maybe, by the way.
xxx Anyway, I went on this trip the other day to a volcanic island in some archipelago not too far away, which means HOT SPRINGS. Holy s**t I love hot springs like you have no idea. These ones were kind of weird though, because they had all these tunnels connecting the different pools, and there were water-types swimming through them! I didn't mind them too much, not until a Carvanha swam up and started looking at my fingers like they were an early lunch. Sorry but I already lost one hand, no way in hell am I losing the other one. Either way I caught him - or rather Jacques caught him and I held him after that - and he's pretty, I like his colors. He's got pretty pink eyes, too. I decided to name him Lionel. I've been taking him to the beach to get better acquainted with him since it's a little too soon to start training him just yet, but I think he's slowly warming up to us. I don't have any other water-types, so I don't have any other pokemon to really spend time with him underwater for too long. I've never tried to train a water-type before, but he's part dark too so I'm excited to try. I think he'll be a lot of fun once we're more used to each other.
