The Weather was perfect, Rosie could honestly not have asked for a more beautiful day than this.
The air was warm, but refreshing, kind of like being in an outdoor pool in the middle of summer.

White clouds were spread out sporadically over a bright blue sky, and a gentle breeze from the ocean swept the thick green grass and sent the petals of flowering trees dancing though the streets, and sprinkling the parks with soft speckles of color.

The front door of a newly resorted home opened, to allow a young girl, dressed in a pink and white summer dress, the heels of matching sandal's clicked lightly against the concrete of the walk way, a delicate hand reaching up to brush her blond hair behind her ear, smiling softly at how beautiful the weather was today. it was perfect~ She couldn't get over it.

"I'm going back for a little bit." She said as she turned back to look into the house, smiling at a muffled response she got before she closed the door, and hurried down the steps and across the front lawn to the side of the house, where she met a Meganium, settled in the garden, and quietly watching a group of three young pokemon playing in the grass in front of her.
The youngest of the three being the newly hatched green Charmander, who was giggling and squeaking as a pink Eevee playfully pounces around her. a light brown and pink Togepi attempting to chase after the Eevee.

Hattie the Meganium looked up at Rosie with a widening smile as the girl hurried over to her and wrapped her arms around the grass type in a loving hug.
"Thank you for watching them Hattie, your the best."

Hattie nuzzled into Rosie, more than happy to keep an eye on the youngest. She wouldn't be alone either, Perdy the Pidgeot was standing not to far, settled in, his feathers puffed out as he just enjoyed the sun speckles through the leaves.

The Three young pokemon stopped playing enough to look up at Rosie, who knelt down and hugged them all. "Be good for Hattie, I'll bring back treats for everyone~"
As she did this, the vines from Hattie worked out from the flower on her neck, picking up a small bundle of three pink roses that Rosie accepted.

"Alright Vahy'n, lets go"
The Vaporeon trotted from the garden, leaving Kiss Kiss to wave after them from the tree she was sitting in.
The Vaporeon and her trainer half ran to the sidewalk, heading further into town.

Rosie had invited her over for a while later that day, and Seraphine had told her mother this earlier. The young girl had every intention of being what she liked to think of as 'fashionably late' but not so late as to seem rude or anything, but unfortunately for her, her mother had very different plans in mind.

"But Mo-ther," whined a voice from the back seat of a rather expensive looking car, "I'm not supposed to go over for another three hours." Honestly, why would she want to go over there this early?! She wouldn't. Ugh, what was her mother thinking?

"Oh hush dear, I'm sure they won't mind," chimed the older woman from the driver's seat. "Besides, how often do you go to a friend's house?"

"Mo-ther," she said venomously through gritted teeth, pale green eyes narrowed to slits that regarded the maternal unit with obvious disdain.

"Come now, Seraphine, you know it's true! You know your father and I worry about you so, we're so glad you finally have friends!" At the huff that floated up from the back seat, she sighed and corrected herself. "Well, one friend at least." Her daughter's unsavory attitude obviously didn't win her many at all.

"Mother!"

"Oh look, we're here! This is it, isn't it dear?" The older woman said cheerily, either completely oblivious to or completely ignoring her daughter's irritated tones. Probably the latter. Mothers were good at that sort of thing. "Ooh, it looks very nice. Looks new, too. Have lots of fun, and play nice!"

"Good-bye, Mother," she huffed as she stepped out of the car and ungraciously slammed the door shut. There was an expensive-looking purse held delicately over one shoulder that matched her pink and black dress, though today she had opted to not tie a ribbon around her wrist. She had one in her hair, of course, as well as her favorite necklace. She sighed and turned towards the path that led up to the house but halted suddenly, nearly running into the exact girl she was going to meet. "Rosie!" She gasped, a small hand flitting up to her chest in surprise.

The sound of a car window being rolled down could be heard behind the pair.

"Oooh, is this Rosie? Hi, Rosie dear! I thought I'd drop little Sera off a bit early, hope you don't mind. You two have fun now!" She said cheerfully with a charming smile, though instead of leaving immediately she waited in case either had anything to say.

Vahy'n had seen the other human in the way before Rosie had, and yipped out a warning to the young Trainer.
Rosie, who should have probably been paying attention in the first place looked up and with a started yelp stopped herself just in time before running into...
"Oh! Seraphine." who was a few hours early, as a voice from the car soon explained.

Rosie blinked her blue eyes a couple of times, recovering quickly from the surprise and smiling warmly at Sera, before hugging the flowers to her chest and bending down to look into the car, this was most certainly Seraphine's mother, Seraphine look allot like her~
"Yes, I'm Rosie Ma'am, Its really nice to meet you~, and I'm okay with Seraphine coming over early! Thank you for dropping Sera off Today~" She said graciously, and grinned again.

Sera's mom waved away the thanks with a smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you dear. Aren't you just an adorable little sweetheart? You can come visit anytime you like," she offered with a similar grin. "Now you girls have fun today, and stay safe!"

Sera merely huffed and crossed her arms, wishing her mother would just hurry up and leave already.

Rosie's cheeks pinked a little at the complement "Thank you so much." She replied, touched by that.
"I would love to visit, And we've got Vahy'n with us, we'll be very safe~"
She held a hand up in a wave, and moved to stand "I hope to see you soon Ma'am, have a safe drive home"

What a nice Lady, Rosie really like Seraphine's mom, and she could tell that her mom loved Seraphine, enough so to drop her off with Rosie early so they can spend more of the day together.
"Your mother is very sweet." Rosie said with a smile.

"You're welcome dear," the older woman replied with another charming grin before waving at the both of them. "And thank you! You're so sweet. Ciao girls!" And with that, Sera's mom pulled out onto the street to head to who knew where. Either home or the mall. Probably the latter.

Sera had to get it somewhere.

"Yeah, I guess," she replied with a slight huff, arms still crossed and attempting to come off as uncaring as possible. Teenagers didn't like their parents, after all. They weren't supposed to, so she wouldn't. Regardless of this attitude though, it was obvious Sera's mother wasn't the least bit bothered by her daughter's behavior. "Anyway, where were you going? I didn't expect Mother to drop me off so early." Not that it was a terrible thing, of course, and her tone reflected this, it was just... unexpected. She would've liked those three hours to get ready more, maybe try on different outfits and match shoes, make-up...

Rosie giggled softly, tilting her head with a smile to the other girl. She knew a lot of kids their age had this kind of opinion regarding their parents, it was kinda cute.

"I'm glad she dropped you off when she did, I would not have been home." She explained. "I'm actually heading into town for a little while... you can come with me if you like, I don't think it will be to much fun though, if you like you are more than welcome to stay here with my pokemon and uncle until I get back. My Uncle's a really cool, and fun guy."

If Rosie had called Sera's behavior 'cute' she would have huffed indignantly and corrected her - it was called being rebellious. She was a rebellious teenager, that's why she'd gotten her tongue pierced last year. ...and had kept it hidden from her parents the entire time.

Rebellious indeed.

"Oh?" She started, slender eyebrows raised a bit though her eyes were partially lidded in an obvious expression of mild interest. "Why are you going into town?" Going into town was always fun. It was better than school or staying at home all day, though it couldn't compare to trying on outfits. The offer to stay with Rosie's uncle until she got back, however, was not appealing in the slightest. "Ah, that's okay, I'll go with you. I don't know your uncle anyway." Or her pokemon, which she didn't have much interest in at all because they were neither dark nor ghosts. ...well, she did like Vahy'n because she was so pretty, but she still wasn't a dark- or ghost-type pokemon so she couldn't like the Vaporeon too much.

Rosie blinked, eyebrows arching a little as the other girl made her decision, a soft smile feathering her lips.
"Alright, your welcome to come with me, Vany'n and I would like the company."
With that she perked up a little and started down the sidewalk again, letting the girl follow her.
"I'm bringing these flowers to my mama." She explained, holding the three pink roses up.

Rosie lead the way, it was a walk, stopping at the bus station that would take them into the city.
Thankfully the public transportation in this part of Camphoreon was of a much higher quality that other cities, and even in other parts of Camphoreon, and the ride was not long, soon letting the girls off by one of the parks.

Instead of turning toward where the bigger city got more busy, where the shops and food and lively aria was. The girl in pink turned in the opposite direction, toward a more mellow environment, where most parks were.

While Seraphine would normally never take public transportation - ever - the fact that it was at least possibly moderately above average and its short length made the ride relatively tolerable. Almost. Still, she was the first to get off that disgusting public bus and waited for Rosie before walking next to her. Even if she had no idea where they were headed, she didn't want to walk behind the other girl, oh no.

The way Rosie worded her statement seemed strange - or maybe it was just her perception of the other girl's home life - so she tilted her head slightly, wavy brown hair spilling over one shoulder. "So where does your mom live? And why do you live with your uncle?" Unless her parents were divorced - that happened sometimes, she'd heard - and then that would make sense for her to live with relatives, but then.. wouldn't one of her parents be there too? It was actually pretty confusing, and for once Seraphine had decided to actually try and think about something. Too bad it wouldn't last long at all.

It was clear that Rosie had not expected to be asked a question like that, since when she looked up from the sideways to Sera, her lips parted gently and her eyebrows were raised.

"... Oh." Rosie stopped walking, startled to realize... that she had never even mentioned to her friend that her mother was-
"No, Mama passed away, Five years ago." Rosie tilted her head a slight pink on her cheeks as she stepped up to Sera. "I'm so sorry Sera, I though I had mentioned that before."
She felt horrible for confusing her friend, what if Sera had never wanted to go to the memorial park at all.
