ASPIRATIONS/PERSONALITY/BIO

Aspirations: To follow in his mother's footsteps so that he can become as good a dancer as she is.

Personality: A cute, sweet, though somewhat spoiled boy that was born at his mother's inn and hasn't really gone anywhere else. He's fine where he is though since there is a lot to do and plenty of people to meet. A lot of people come and go in the inn and he does his best not to be shy around the new comers, wanting to make friends with everyone that passes through.

Bio: The only child born to the dancer Eira and the heir to her troupe and inn. His father is a traveling artist that his mother knows, one that she spent a night with to get her baby, but he doesn't know much of the man passed that. He doesn't seem to mind the missing father though since he has his mother and the rest of the troupe.

~ A sweet, beautiful boy born to Eira at her inn. He's a good kid, if a little spoiled, often spending his time meeting those who come to the inn. He has fun meeting everyone that he can between lessons with his mother how to dance. He's also hoping to learn some from Borra as well, feeling that knowing how to use an instrument might help him too.

~ Callistos, normally referred to as 'Li' as a prentice. He works hard to follow in the footsteps of his mother while hanging out with those that visit the inn. He's doing his best to become great dancer, wanting to prove himself worthy of being his mother's heir.

~ His Bracelet: A beautiful bracelet given to him by his mother. It jingles as he walks and dances, something he loves the sound of.

CALLISTOS'S FAMILIARS

~ A beast that belongs to his mother but Callistos also plays with. The beast acts as a playmate as well as a guard dog of sorts. Li has fun with him and being made safe by the beast pleases Eira greatly.

~ Maarit is a little beast that was obtained for Callistos as a gift for gaining the title of 'Rogue' and being allowed to dance on stage. She is an adorable little beast that has the task of clearing the morakers from the stables on the side. She's a little princess for the most part but also a warrior on the side, something that makes Li love her dearly.

~ Stormy is the sister to Maarit through adoption. She was bought by Li with his own wages from a traveling merchant so that Maarit would have a playmate. Of course not long after Li bought her did he realize how big the loatoa actually get. He hasn't told his mother quite yet but he means to get to that soon(ish).

EARTHLINGS: ICE TRIBE

Although their society does not possess a true aristocracy, the people of the Ice Tribe certainly give off a regal vibe. They live in the mountainous area of Zena, towards the boundary of Sauti, where it is cold and often snowy. Therefore, their clothing is often lined in fur, protecting them, to an extent, from the harsher elements.

These Earthlings have light blue skin. Their hair is usually a darker shade of blue, but can sometimes be mistaken as having a slight tinge or purple, or be dark enough to be considered black. Their eyes range from yellow to amber to gold, but all seem to possess a radiant, almost glowing quality. Like all Earthlings, the Ice Tribe sports crystals. Theirs, however, seem to have an almost rockier quality. They are a dark, bluish purple and can usually be found in bulk around these peoples’ necks, front torso, and inner thighs.

Many (although not all) of the Ice Tribe members consider themselves superior to other Earthlings, especially the nomadic Wind Tribe. Due to the structure of their government, some Ice Tribe members feel that they rule over the Wind Tribe, although their relationship has never degenerated to the level of slavery.

Religion: Like the Wind Tribe, the Ice Tribe worships Bergchi, or “Chi”, the goddess of the mountains. Bergchi is their creator and mother, although not necessarily the highest power in Tendaji. When a person passes on, they meet Bergchi in the next world. Their sacred mountain, far to the east of Zena, is called Mount Xi’i. There, a secluded group of female oracles live, protecting the mountain.

Government: The Wind Tribe of Sauti and the Ice Tribe of Zena share a council-style government. Both tribes have a varying number of council members; however many each group deems worthy of the position. All members of the council sit in on meetings and vote on any matters that come up. The Ice Tribe, however, has a heavier hand, and their decisions are weighed more heavily than those of the Wind Tribe. The nomadic Wind Tribe, however, doesn't seem too discouraged by the arrangement.
