For the time being Li's dance lessons were over and he was allowed a bit of free time to go on a walk around the inn that his mother owned. It was a fairly nice day, with a breeze coming through from the south, which made his walk pleasant... if a bit on the dull side. The twins weren't around today leaving him to walk alone save for Branko who was currently flanking him. He looked from side to side before giving a sighing sound, crossing his arms behind his head, "It's always way to quiet when Uli and Riya are away." He complained before looking at the large snaptrotter at his side who was hissing in agreement.

Giving a bit of a smile the blue haired prentice said, "I guess the two of us will just have to find entertainment elsewhere until their next visit." He said, reaching out a hand so that he could pat the snaptrotter on the head before sighing again, "Keep it secret that I am lonely when they are away though. I am the heir to my mother's inn and I can't let anyone know that I have a weakness." He gave Branko a wink and the snaptrotter made a sound that was much like a laugh before the two of the continued forward.

"Come on, we will head to the river so that you can take a dip, Branko." He knew the snaptrotter rarely went out without either his mother Eira or Callistos himself at his side. Therefore, since they were out anyway, he might as well make sure that Branko indulged himself instead of always playing guard dog. That way at least one of them would have a lot of fun.

Li turned to give Branko a glance as the big creature set to making a low, chirping sound, the one that said that there was a girl around. Giving a little roll of his eyes he said, "Really, Branko?" Turning to look around he found himself hoping that it wasn't just any girl but possibly Riya who was around... but much to his disappointment he didn't see her or Uli. It wasn't a sign that the twins had returned but instead it was... a Leaf Girl? One that seemed to be starring at him rather intently, which had him cocking his head to one side, a curious look on his face.

After a moment ot starring he finally lifted a hand, giving the girl a little wave, "Hello there, you a guest at the inn?" She likely was, why else would she be wandering around the area so close to the place after all? Given her complete lack of a weapon he doubted she was here to start trouble. Not that Gyuri would allow such a thing.

"Come on, Branko. Let's go say hi." Something that the big snaptrotter was only too happy to agree to as he went shuffling forward ahead of Li toward the Leaf girl.

Li came to a stop in front of the young Leaf Woman, looking her over in a thoughtful manner. She really didn't have anything on her at the moment did she? No bags or anything that would say that she was traveling... so surely she had to be staying at the inn? She had to of shown up after he started on his walk he thought to himself. Li sat down on Branko's back, patting him on the top of the head, before he said, "Hello there, my name is Callistos, and you are...?"

As he sat there, studying her, the snaptrotter laid down to make a more stable perch. As he did so he turned his head to look toward where the young woman was standing. He gave a hissing sound at her, one that seemed friendly enough, before his tail set to swishing behind him. Were it not for the fact that he was currently acting as a seat for Li he'd likely be bothering her... but as it was he was sitting still.

"It's nice to meet you, Lilif." Words that he was barely able to get out of his mouth before he was suddenly being assaulted with a wave of questions. He blinked slowly before he crossed his arms over his chest, "You should be careful with who you ask such questions of, there are those who might be insulted by you asking if they are a pure blood or not." He told her, giving a little shake of his head before he said, "I am a little nicer then most so I will let you in on the fact that I am of the Ice Tribe, purely Ice Tribe."

As she asked if he lived near here he lifted an eyebrow before lifting one hand to point it to the side where the inn stood, "I live right there... so I take it that means you're not staying with us?" Then what in the word was she up to at the inn? She didn't look dangerous so surely she wasn't starting anything?

"Hm? His name is Branko." He said, patting the big beast on the head, then sighed, feeling a bit dizzy. She asked a lot of questions, didn't she? Lifting a hand to his hair he said, "I do my hair, though my mother taught me how to do it initially."

Li's eyes got rather wide when she admitted that she wasn't staying but instead she was just really lost. He blinked slowly before he said, "I... see..." So she got herself lost and just happened to end up her? He glanced at Branko's face and then forward toward the girl again. So where did she belong he found himself wondering before he actually asked her, "Where... do you live?" He couldn't help but to wonder exactly how lost was 'really, really, really lost' anyway? Was she actually from somewhere in Tale? He supposed that it was possible since she was a member of the Leaf Tribe.

"Eh? Have you gotten chased off before? Is that how you ended up so lost?" This girl was a rather strange one... the idea that she would wanted to learn about people no matter what threw Li off center just a bit. What a strange one this Lilif was.

Li turned his head slowly in what was to him an arbitrary direction, listening as she said that she came from 'way over there' which really meant nothing to him. He knew the names of the towns in Sauti but wouldn't be able to guess which one she was pointing at, not without a map... though that had him turning back to stare at her a moment before asking, "You live in Sauti?" Wasn't she from the Wind Tribe?

"Wait, wait... chased you off with a stick?" That sounded rather dramatic, didn't it? Even asking a personal question still made it feel as though it was a strange response from a parent. Maybe the guy was a bad guy? Well, if that was the case and he turned up here Li would just as Gyuri to 'deal with' the guy was all. As she explained what brought her to the inn, which seemed to be the fact that she was collecting rocks, he gave a slow nod of his head, "I... see... rocks, huh? Like any old rock or gemstones?"

"Wait, what?" Li seemed to forget about everything else, starring at the girl with huge yellow eyes as she declared that she'd been trying to figure out his gender. That was... well, blunt. Shaking his head he told her, "I can assure you that I am very much a guy, thank you."

"Ahhh, so you don't live in a town either?" He asked, that was interesting. Li was the same, he was born in the inn, raised in the inn, and one day he would take over the inn. He had no reason to really go anywhere else... it kind of made him envy the girl a bit. She was traveling all over though it wasn't exactly a planned trip as much as her getting lost. Still, she got to see at least a bt of the world. Maybe he could see about taking a trip to Dernd next time they went there for supplies.

Giving a shrug of one shoulder, "It's fine, I know that I am rather pretty. I see no reason to get upset about that." He looked a lot like his mother, which meant that he'd instantly be very pretty, but that didn't meant that he liked that that someone might think he was a girl. Best that he didn't let Riya know, she beat up the last person to pick on Uli and himself and Lilif didn't seem so bad. Best that he didn't sic his good friend on this new girl.

"Is that so? You much have an interesting family if they've decided to live outside of town. I can't imagine what that might like." He gave a chuckle, unable to say the words and remain serious while he did so. His family was pretty strange and they lived outside of town as well, giving him something in common with the very strange Lilif. She was an odd one but at least she told interesting stories, right? Making him want to know more about her as well as more about her strange sounding family.

Giving a grin he said, "Well, I am not named 'Callistos' for nothing." He saw no reason not to acknowledge the fact that he was attractive when his very name meant 'the most beautiful' according to his mother. She wasn't one to do anything half way hence the very arrogant name that she gave to her child, something that amused him greatly. As the girl set to swaying he lifted an eyebrow and ask, "You going to tip over, Lilif?"
