Faction: 3, Apartments! I'd like to stay in a group with thyPOPE's Wataru, KitsuneAura's Renita, Katanari's Sawyer, and leon_a_darkangel's Lennard, who also have all their characters in Apartments. No matter where they go I'd life for Oscar to stay with them!
Character description: A cheerful and stress-free person, Oscar is relaxed and a little awkward. His internet personality has him portrayed as a very eager and sociable person, but if you spend enough time with him you realize the front is just what it is-- A front. He does, however, enjoy what he does as and tries his best to live up to his slowly growing title. While not exactly the most sentimental person, Oscar is very emotional and expressive, expressing his thoughts very clearly through his body language. He finds it hard to sympathize with others if he has not gone through what they have, which may make him seem very insensitive, depending on the situation. He is very alert and attentive due to him being used to playing video games that require quick thinking and fast reactions. Oscar is sometimes unintentionally abrasive due to his short temper, but he's not the type of person to hold a grudge against someone unless it's something unforgivable. He is quite nosy and likes to jump straight into things recklessly, even now, with the outbreak.
Online, he's Nexus24-- A 'Let's Player' who's reputation was slowly growing. He fills his head with fantasies to keep him from facing reality, having somehow brainwashed himself into thinking the zombies were apart of a VRMMORPG and he's just in a very deep dream.
DAY ZERO ENTRY PROMPT: "Alright everyone, tune in tomorrow for—" The entire place dimmed before finally turning off, the laptop staying online but the entire apartment system turning off. Glancing up, glasses being reflected by the moonlight, the man adjusted his shirt and looked at the camera, cursing he bad luck. Of ******** course, a power outage happens at the end of his final video for the series. He snarled and made a fist, growling and glancing to the side, looking around his room tiredly and rubbing his eyes. 10pm. He guessed he'd just have to wait.
30 minutes later, the light was still not back.
It couldn't be an intentional power outage. Why the hell did they have people working there if they did nothing? He snarled and pulled out his phone, using his 3G to search information of the alleged black out. Nothing. No information was released on their districts webpage... He squinted before glancing to the door nervously. While there was no light in the entirety of his district, it was now he realized there was no light in all districts. He swallowed, opening his apartment door and glancing around to see a figure at the end of the hall, shambling through the corridor. He squinted at it. "Yo, dude. What the hell is with this light problem, y'know what I mean?" The figure swayed before walking a little more into the shining moonlight. Oscar's eyes nearly bugged out of his skull. "—The ********?!" He instantly slammed the door, leaning back on it with wide eyes and breathing heavily. This was a joke, right? That— that person, thing, whatever... They... Were foaming at the mouth. Breathing heavily, Oscar managed to calm his breath before glancing to the window, watching the herds of people become panicked by a few others on the street. He made a small bun with his hair, biting his lip and trying not to panic. As soon as his roommate, Lenny, entered the room, he pulled out a cold beer and gulped it down, trying harder to calm himself but instead freaking himself out more. "I-I just saw one across the hall, dude, holy ********. The ******** are those?!" He heard him continue to speak, explaining what the other had seen— the ********, infection? He clenched his fist tightly before rubbing his neck.
This was awesome.
