Breeding Rules and Information

Here is the post where all the information can be found on breeding requirements.

o1. Hybrids || Yes you are always able to breed for a hybrid! There is no limits on Breeding hybrids, just questing for them.
o2. Forms || There is a Breeding Application provided with the other Forms. Winners will need to fill out the form below and PM it to the Mule (may also shoot it to the Artist if you wish!) :

o3. Eligibility || Please provide links to the 5 rp's that are proof that your character(s) have fallen in love and are prepared to breed.
If you are not eligible, or the Staff feels that the RP's provided do not fill the requirements, you will be PM-ed and have till the last day to meet our standards. If you do not, you will not be picked for Breeding.
o4. Payment || If you've managed to snag a slot, payment must be in pure gold and all up front. Send trade to the Mule once you have been selected.
The cost is 2 million per child, and you may purchase twins is you wish. This will pay for all art stages.
Khehora breeding costs 400,000 for a nest of 2 to 5 eggs. [[ Selected by Gaia's Random Number Generator or the Colorist may decide]]
o5. Multiple Winnings || Not applicable: you may only submit one Breeding Application! Also, if you get a custom, you may not receive a breeding slot! You get one or the other. Even if your quest is a Khehora and the breeders are Magesicans, it is not allowed. Share the love people!

Parents: Detraeus x Araceli [Note: Looking to breed twins. Tangled Puppet will be paying the full 2mil for both of them, 4mil total.]

Proof: A Snake in the Mists - First meeting. Detraeus shoots at her because she disrupted his hunt and scared off his prey, they argue, and then he saves her life from venomous arvathi serpents.

The Impossible Girl - Second meeting. Detraeus witnesses a young woman being accosted on his walk home and gets into a scuffle with the men, eventually driving them off before recognizing it's the same girl he met on Soudul. The two have a stiff, brief interaction after, and Detraeus leaves before Ara can thank him.

You Again - Third meeting. Detraeus was watching Casseth's first fight in the pit when Casseth is hurt, and two of Cas' friends desperately want access to the lower levels of the stadium to see how he's doing since the guards won't let them past. Eventually, Detraeus is persuaded to (begrudgingly) help them thanks to Ara's plea for help. This is the first time Detraeus has gone out of his way to help Araceli under normal circumstances.

Cave of Dragons - Detraeus and Araceli work through the treacherous cave of dragons from start to finish - a laughably easy task at first which quickly becomes more perilous the further they go, forcing them to rely on each other, watch out for each other, and by the end develop the first inklings of a blossoming relationship. (Development of feelings pt.I - mostly on Ara's side.)

Tasting Blood - Araceli attends Detraeus' first fight in the pit, but is unfortunately caught by her jealous boyfriend. In the aftermath of his fight, Detraeus emerges from the lower levels of the pit to find the man attacking Araceli, accusing her of cheating on him and being a whore. Triggered into a rage, Detraeus beats the man within an inch of his life, stopped only when Casseth forcibly drags him off before he can bash the man's head in. After Cas has managed to calm Detraeus down, the man is dragged away for medical attention and Detraeus and Araceli have an awkward, but peaceful conversation. (Development of feelings.)

Before You Go - Wanting to gather his friends together for a final gathering before they all split up, Cas manages to convince Detraeus to take part in a group get-together with himself and Ara included. Detraeus is starting to think about Araceli a lot more than he's sure he's comfortable with, but the evening is enjoyable and Ara drags him into a dance near the end. Tipsy at the time, she almost kisses him, but hesitates and abandons the maneuver when she notices how tense and confused he looks. (Development of feelings.)

Four Heads Are Better Than None - To celebrate having his friends all back on the same continent, Casseth brings Detraeus, Lithian, and Araceli along on another taming adventure in search of a baowi mount. Detraeus appreciates Araceli's new, less-conservative outfit more than he's comfortable with, stammers through an awkward greeting, struts on ahead, and then shoots a baowi dead when it startles him instead of working to capture it. (Development of feelings.)

Ten Tricks and a Trump - First kiss. After gathering for a card game at Cas' house, Cas and Lith end up leaving the room, leaving Detraeus and Araceli to their own devices alone. At her prompting, Detraeus teaches her a card game, some mild (somewhat unintentional) flirting occurs along with quiet discussion; Detraeus admits he minds her touch 'less than most' and doesn't dislike being around her. Things progress, however, in a direction Detraeus isn't prepared for, and when she kisses him, he panics and flees the scene, leaving her alone, hurt, and confused. (Development of feelings.)

Arrows in the Wind - Several days pass after the misunderstanding, but eventually, Detraeus returns to Cas' house looking for a sparring session with Cas and finds that Araceli is already there, training with Cas. Cas' closeness to Ara makes Detraeus jealous and he ends up sparring her instead. They argue as they fight and it dawns on him that she was far more hurt by his disappearance than he realized. He apologizes (sort of) and eventually the situation calms back down. Training together gradually becomes a habit for them, though they do not speak of kiss or act on any personal feelings in any way for many months.

The Price of Obsidian - After months of developing his friendship with Araceli and wondering (far more often than he'd like) about their single kiss, Detraeus resolves to do something for her and has a wind boomerang custom-crafted. This is the first gift he has ever purchased for anyone. (Development of feelings.)

What the Shadows Whisper - After talking to Cas to waylay his fears about actually giving his gift to Ara, Detraeus invites her into his home to present it to her, unwittingly giving her her first opportunity to observe his living conditions (very poor). Instead of commenting at the time, however, she asks for an opportunity to hunt with him and practice the weapon. The following day, they travel out into the desert to find a wide range of beasts. Unfortunately, luck is not with them the entire way, and Araceli loses her trusted hastar, Leoi, to cah poison. Afterwards, Detraeus' leg is severely hurt, and down one hastar already, Ara insists that they make camp for the night. In the private of the desert night, they have quiet conversation that turns personal with Detraeus admitting to and speaking of things he nominally avoids entirely. Before the night's end, they share two more kisses that don't involve Detraeus running away and test the limits of his comfort zone. On the way home the next morning, Araceli convinces Detraeus to move in with her baring in mind his strict stipulations that he gets space that is treated as his for as long as he pays rent and that she will not invade his privacy. (Development of feelings.)

Night Wind - Despite keeping rigidly to his own spaces within her house at first, Detraeus' wariness ebbs the longer he spends around her and - in spite of himself - he begins to grow accustomed to Araceli's semi-permanent presence and starts to appreciate little details about her that were impossible to know of before. This is the point at which he begins to fall in love with her, though he does not recognize it as such, yet. One evening, he comes home to find her upset and working on tearing down what remains of the stables she had begun to build for her now-deceased hastar. Detraeus aids her, and tells her the story of how he came to meet Cas to distract her, likely the most he's ever said all at once in a single sitting. Afterwards, they cook a meal together and she tells him the story of her adoption. He tells her that her adoptive 'did a good job' with her, in spite of their attitude towards his race.

Birds of a Feather - Araceli witnesses Detraeus brutally kill an orderite hybrid in the arena after nearly being killed himself. In the aftermath of such violence, Detraeus expects she will want him gone from her home and prepares himself to offer to leave. Instead, all she expresses is gratitude that he's alive and insists on taking him home.

How I Met Your Mother - After giving himself some distance by taking on a mercenary mission into the desert (feeling he needed room to breathe), Detraeus returns home earlier than Ara anticipated, resulting in an accidental meeting with her mother. Despite the initially tense atmosphere, things calm slightly after Araceli mediates and hands out introductions. Her mother none-too-subtly suggests that Ara ought to run some errands, eventually getting the space alone with Detraeus. Detraeus attempts to opt out and hide in his room, but Niyol insists and runs him through a small set of fairly blunt questions. The answers to which satisfy, but confuse her, particularly when Detraeus insists he has no intentions of sleeping with her daughter, ever, and she has nothing to worry about. He promises not to touch Araceli. (Meet the parents requirement.)

Promises Unkept - At Ara's prompting, she and Detraeus explore a beachside cove tucked far back along the shore and up amidst the rocky bluffs. The sun sets while they are inside and, despite not knowing how to swim, Detraeus eventually allows himself to be lured into the water at a shallower edge. Alone in the water and watched only by the moon, Detraeus breaks his promise to Ara's mother as he and Ara share less-innocent kisses and nervous (on his part), modest touches. Before anything gets serious, Detraeus tenses up and opts out, but Ara respects his boundaries, used to them now, and they walk home together.
