Personality
Etsali is a fairly upbeat troll, cheerful with just a hint of mischief in her eyes, as if there is always some joke she hasn’t bothered to share. She is very observant of her surroundings, her eyes always roving about in search of objects of note, and is incessantly curious once a thing catches her attention. Although she rarely has reason to be outright cruel, she is both an opportunist and a materialist. She will find a way through anyone to get at whatever thing it is that she wants, even if she has to bide her time for the perfect moment to strike for it.
The thing about Etsali, you see, is that she’s a collector. She spends her days wandering the city in search of treasures that other trolls have overlooked. Mostly this amounts to bits of metal or material with a bit of shine to them, because she adores anything that catches the light just so. Once she has them in her grasp, she carries them back to her house and finds the perfect place in her slowly growing hoard to keep them. And there they stay, unless some newer piece calls for a resorting of everything. Her favorite pieces, often the shiniest, encircle her recuperacoon and from there the pieces get duller with more and more distance from it.
Surprisingly, for a troll that sifts through junk regularly, she keeps things clean and tidy. She is especially obsessive about keeping her hands clean and wears gloves near constantly to keep from being distressed about it. But other than that, every piece of her collection has its place in the hoard and once it's been cleaned to its ultimate shine, it doesn't leave that place until she's ready to move it to a new one. She knows immediately if something has been moved without her permission, and will never forgive or forget whoever dared disturb her things. She might not challenge them on it face-to-face or start a fight, but she will watch them and wait for their guard to be down. Better to strike unexpected and ends violent encounters before they can really begin.
At some point, it occurred to her that maybe it wasn’t enough to just wait for other trolls to throw out treasures for her. There were all sorts of even better quality shinies just waiting for her inside their houses, and they were probably going to be thrown out eventually anyway, so why not just take them now? The thought grew and grew and then finally settled itself into a goal. Etsali was going to become a thief, but not just any thief. That would have been too easy. No, this troll was going to be the best thief in all of Alternian history, even more well-known than Troll Robin Hood, because what was so great about a thief that gave away everything he took anyway?
For now, she doesn't have the stealth or know-how to pull off any of the great heists she's begun to dream of, but now that she's got her heart set on it, it's only a matter of time. Although she doesn't like being told not to do what she wants, she is glad to have Keeper around to keep her out of real trouble for now. If her lusus gets so concerned by whatever she's doing that she drags her home, after all, then she's probably doing something wrong and it's a sign for more training. One day her lusus won't think to stop her, and then she'll be ready.
As for her opinions about the Hemospectrum, she doesn't really have any strong feelings about it beyond an understandable bit of envy. Anyone can see that highbloods have better quality treasures, more likely to shine brighter than any others, and she can't help wishing she had that kind of easy access to them. Beyond that, she make more of an effort to stay on a highblood's good side than she would blood types closer to her own. Friends, on occasion, gives gifts, and she isn't above cozying up to someone for a chance at something to keep. But even without that chance, getting close to a highblood means getting a better idea of the things they have and the obstacles that might get in the way of reaching those things.

Strengths and Flaws
Strengths:
Observant- It takes good eyes to find the treasures hiding amidst junk and since Etsali's become a pro at that, it only makes sense that she'd be quick to notice the small details most would overlook in other things too. It's a good skill for any young thief to have, after all, as it means she's quicker to spot incoming threats and possible escape routes.
Determined- Once she's set her eyes on something, Etsali doesn't let it go until she's achieved it. Even if she has to put things on a back burner for a while because of some difficulty or another, she doesn't forget and she will get what she wants eventually.
Creative- Etsali's a quick thinker and very good at improvising her way into and out of situations. Instead of just seeing locked doors, she keeps an eye out for the open windows or the climbable routes to the roof to look for other ways in. If she's missing a tool, there's always something else around that can work just as well. And if she can't get to what she wants personally, there's always a chance she can find the right thing to trade for it.
Flaws:
Obsessive- In more than one way. Although she considers her determination a good thing, she sometimes takes it too far, fixating on objects or goals to the point that she doesn't even take into account the risks she's taking. On another note, she is also obsessed with keeping her hands clean and gets very stressed and distracted if she loses her gloves or something manages to leak through them.
Reckless- Etsali has a tendency to overestimate her own abilities and gets herself into tough spots with nowhere near as much caution as she ought to. In a way, she isn't as afraid of things as she should be because Keeper has always been there just in the nick of time and she's never gotten hurt. Considering her current lack of real skill, it probably wouldn't end well at all if for some reason her lusus wasn't there to save her.
Greedy- There's a whole world full of shiny objects out there and Etsali wants them all, no matter how long it takes her to get them. What she has is never quite good enough, because there's always that idea of more, more, more. Offering to give her these things or tell her where she can go to take them is both a good way to get on her good side and the best way to manipulate her.

Home and Lusus
Home:
New Hemisect City. Etsali's house feels more like a hideaway than anything, tucked back in an alleyway far removed from the busiest sections of the city. It has two floors, with two rooms in the bottom floor and an open, spacier top floor. Keeper has taken the biggest space for herself, and so the top floor consists solely of her hoard. Etsali's belongings are in the second room, the furthest from the house's entrance. The front room is for everything that isn't hoard, personal items, or recuperacoon, and thus is a bit lackluster, though she's at least taken the time to scrounge up some basic furniture. There are some traps set up around the doorway and here and there in the front room, to protect the treasures further within. There's also a hidden entrance/exit in the roof.
Lusus:
Etsali's lusus, called Keeper, mostly resembles a giant raccoon, just with some dragon-like attributes thrown in. She's large, about the size of a small pony at least, with a body a little longer than a raccoon might normally be. Because lusus are all white, she doesn't have the dark patches of fur that would usually mark her mask and the rings of her tail. Instead, those areas, plus her paws, are covered with scales, making them distinct without a color change. On her back is a set of dragon-like wings, though they're too small to actually permit flight.
It's pretty clear to see that several of Etsali's major habits have come in direct mimicry of her lusus'. Keeper is a frequent scavenger, collecting things that catch her eye and storing them away in her hoard within Etsali's hive. They're mostly bits of metal with some shine to them, nothing that would be of much real use to anyone, but she's extremely protective of it. Even Etsali, though allowed to interact with the treasures, is not allowed to move them from their place. Because of that, Etsali is nearly certain that Keeper views her as just another interesting thing to keep.
Even if that is the case, it could be worse. Keeper takes care of her, makes sure she stays in good health, and tries to keep her out of danger's way, even if it does mean dragging her away to the nearest hiding place or refusing to allow her to go on those big heists she'd like to try.

Relationships
Vulpin: Etsali thinks extremely highly of him and remembers their time in Old Hemisect often. He was definitely the coolest Tunnel Snake. She hopes he's doing alright, even if it has been a while...!
Forera: Forera is just so much fun! Although a little disappointed that For didn't fight on to the end with them, she still considers her a good friend!
Luxara: Etsali is least sure of where she stands with Luxara out of all the Tunnel Snakes, since the last time they saw each other wasn't exactly the happiest moment. But she'd said she was okay, so they're probably still friends! Besides, she sent a squiddle!
Ephias: Her best friend. Etsali has lots of feelings about Ephias, and is not entirely sure what to do with a lot of them. Especially with his friendship with Keionx mucking things up.
Voscil: Definitely the most fun of all the Cops and Robbers! Etsali hopes she can hang out with Vos more, she seems like she'd be great to have along on more (hopefully not so terrifying) adventures!
Zindel: She wasn't sure what to think about this grumpy redblood, but hey, he's one of the team! She's discovered they have a lot in common since, though, and thieves have got to stick together, right~?
Keionx: Etsali hates her. So much. More than anything on Alternia.
Kursha: A competitive greenblood with a vicious smile. He might not have attacked her the way Kei did, but he definitely wasn't on her side. He seemed pretty interesting though, didn't he?
Tamiya: Met briefly in Old Hemisect. Has a very interesting face, but is a little scary.
Larque: Met at the same time as Tamiya. She wonders every once in a while if his hive survived the battle.
Odette: A nice troll met in the Root. Not very sneaky, but friendly enough!
Didero: The most she can remember about him is laughing at him. The least sneaky.
Vremea: An older friend of Odette's who seemed really nervous. Considering what happened right after they met, she probably had good reason to be!
Milieu: A weird troll met while fleeing the Root. Why didn't she ever say anything? Did she get away?
McJagg: Etsali's first love. Ah, to be young!
