The swamp had been quietly lately; not much going on for Luxara since Bloodfest, and there wasn't anywhere near as much hulabaloo since then either. Everyone had been doing their own thing for a bit, and Luxara was thankful for that time. Especially after Kursha, after her latest injury. Healing time of all sorts.
But, eventually, there would have to be something. Fliers in the populated cities and towns, murmurs about it, orders from Big Akko herself for anyone interested in checking it out. An opportunity.
Luxara leaned back on a tree, scratching at her scarred chin. She had asked Etsali to get Forera and meet her here. By hook or by crook, the Tunnel Snakes would ride again.

Etsali had gone back and forth on whether or not to flat out tell Forera where she was taking her. Or rather, who she was taking her to. Things were weird between Forera and Luxara, and knowing the whys hadn't actually helped much in knowing how to help the two of them through it, though she did appreciate being more in the know now. In the end, she'd decided on being straight-forward for the very same reason she tended to make sure the tealblood heard her when she was approaching.
Catching Forera off guard was not a good plan by any means.
Luckily, it had worked out with only a bit of protest. She wasn't sure whether that was a mark in favor of her negotiating skills or whether it meant maybe things were less bad between the two already, but hey. Victories were victories. Grinning, the thief raised a hand to wave at Luxara as the greenblood came into view, then sneaked a glance back to see if the other Tunnel Snake would do the same.
"Heya! You weren't waiting long, were you?"

Forera hadn't been pleased by this meeting in any way.
She wasn't okay with meeting the greenblood, because Luxara was a backstabbing b***h, plain and simple. Forera did s**t she regretted too, but at least she apologized for them. Luxara thought time could make things better, and while she was ******** terrible at holding grudges, this one was one she wasn't going to let go. At least, not for a while. So she just avoided any interaction with her and Aerona altogether.
Until now.
She supposed it was because Etsali asked her. Or maybe it was because she hadn't checked in on her neck situation for a while. Maybe. Then again, maybe she was just tired of s**t. But that didn't mean she couldn't look or act bitter about it. Swaggering behind Etsali, Forera had her arms crossed and a distinct frown on her face, looking like a pouting child who was begrudgingly brought there. She stayed silent when Etsali said hello, having glanced at their friend and stared a little too much at her neck situation. She pushed down any worry she felt. The greenblood looked fine, if not scarred. Forera continued to stay silent, looking at Etsali before clicking her tongue. "Hey." It was the most she'd say at the moment. At least until Luxara got to the point.
