You have encountered a Malfunctioning Teen-bot!
Other trolls can assist in this fight, as long as there is an ic reason for them to join in.
This is a mini-boss battle, the full rules and mechanics of which can be reviewed here.
Once the mini-boss is at 0hp, this can be counted by all trolls participating as a battle rp for growth. If you have any questions, please PM the mule.

You really did try to raise your robo-child right, putting both effort and possibly even love into trying to tame it. But something went wrong along the way. Perhaps you failed to communicate your intentions, or misunderstood its actions. Either way, you can't help but feel the memory of your robot haunt you in your sleep, accompanied by the sight of your torn and battered hive, shaking under its feet. You know in your pump biscuit that you two will meet again, and not long after you come to this realization, you do. Perhaps it's on the street, or at your local protein hub. Maybe it comes crashing back in through the very same wall it tore its way through before, in its search for freedom. Either way, your beloved child is back, and raring to show you that it doesn't need your approval.
TEEN-BOT STARTING HP: players fighting x 30

IF THERE IS AN ADULT IN BATTLE: ALL TROLLS TAKE +2 DAMAGE FOR STARRED (*) ATTACKS

If you rolled a 1, the teen-bot rips a large piece out of the nearby scenery, and gnashing its teeth, clubs you with it. The broken hunk of destroyed material hits you almost as hard as the flashbacks. Take 4* dmg.

If you rolled a 2, a greasy smell rolls over you. Regardless if it's familiar or not, you still barely leap out of the way before the teen-bot belches a sheet of flame, grazing you with the blast. Take 4 dmg.

If you rolled a 3, the teen-bot pulls a pail from somewhere and beats you over the head with it a few times. You feel unclean. Kids these days - so inappropriate and lewd! Take 3* dmg.

If you rolled a 4, you warily circle the teen-bot and as you get behind it, you leap forwards to try and give it a good disciplinary spanking. Spinning around, it knees you in the chest and then kicks you in the face a few times, as you bend double. Outmanoeuvred! Take 3* dmg.

If you rolled a 5, the teen-bot makes a rude gesture at you, and omits an ominously aggressive whirring sound from its face-box. Did it ... did it just try and sass you? You feel vaguely unsettled. Take 2* dmg.

If you rolled a 6, as you try and batter back the teen-bot, a scream wrenches itself up from your throat. In in contains exactly everything you've wanted to say to mechanical troll-children but you've never dared. Take 2 dmg. The robot hesitates and stares at you slightly surprised, off-balance, and perhaps emotionally wounded? Your attack does double damage.

When the mini-boss or all trolls have reached 0hp, please look in the spoiler below.

Mini-Boss at 0
The teen-bot staggers around, still swinging its fists and emitting disdainful noises. Then, slowly, its moments slow and grow jerkier and jerkier. Sitting down heavily on the ground, its head rolls to the side, and it emits a huge black cloud from its rear, as its eyes dim. Rest on the wings of the messiahs, blessed robot. Your struggles are over.

Players at 0
The teen-bot has worn you down, and now, as you find the last of the strength seeping out of your spirit, it proceeds to club you unconscious. You wake up in your underclothes, dangling by them on some low-hanging overhang in a public place, with insults scrawled all over your face. This seems to be a good sign to let go of the idea of grub-bots, kid-bots, teen-bots, and bot-based artificial life in general. In fact, if the entirety of Alternia could just forget the last few weeks even happened, that would probably be great for everyone. Especially the trolls who are staring at you, mouths open, as they walk past.

She had her feet up on her desk, hands behind her head, glaring at the ceiling. She wanted to get out and do something, but not just by herself, she wanted to ruffle some feathers, feel some heat, something, anything but the nice, smiling troll she had become. Then she had an idea. A grin spread over her face as she thought of the trapped "troll child" robot she had locked away, far below in the basement of her hive. It was more like a dungeon, but its not like she kept anyone down there, only the robot that Zindel had failed at raising. It was starting to cause structural damage... what with its angery thrashing and bashing, it was time to take care of the thing, once and for all.

------------------------------------------------------------

The blueblood waited outside the basement/dungeon door, her battle supplies equipped and ready. She had sent out two "emergency" letters, summoning both Etsali and Ephias to her current location, stating that there was something she needed help dealing with, immediately, and that they should bring any battle equipment they may have. And it was not really a lie, she had been meaning to deal with the basement monster for a while, now was as good a time as any. As the two lowbloods finally arrived she grinned, hands on her hips; "Hey! Glad you could make it!" She said to the two, pointing at Etsali, she continued, "Faithe ive realized ive never actually seen you in battle, or in a fight, so i fured this would be a great opportunity!" She turned to Ephias, "And you need a break from the whole desk job thing!" She turned around and opened the door, going downstairs. She flipped the lights on and revealed the caged teen-bot, her hand on a suspicious looking lever. "This is the pest we need to get rid of, ready?" She looked from Ephias to Etsali, to the teen-bot, and yelled as she pulled the lever, lifting the cage off the ground, "LETS GO!"

Attacking Teen-bot
Chiara HP: 18/20
Boss HP: 84/90
Damage Done: 5+1

If you rolled a 5, the teen-bot makes a rude gesture at you, and omits an ominously aggressive whirring sound from its face-box. Did it ... did it just try and sass you? You feel vaguely unsettled. Take 2* dmg.

When the cage released the teen-bot it immediately jumped for Chiara's face, and the blueblood had a wild look in her eyes as she met it head on.

Etsali HP: 16/20
Boss HP: 79/90
Damage: 4+1

Etsali hadn't been sure what to think when she received the emergency letter, but she hadn't spent too long hesitating over what to do about it. She'd grabbed her gear, made sure her disguise was intact, and headed out towards Chiara's hive as quickly as she could. Bosses tended to expect that kind of hasty response, she knew, and having a job was still a novel enough experience that she was in no hurry to lose it.

What did give her second thoughts was following the maid's directions down to the basement door and finding Ephias there as well. Was there a reason she'd called both of them down besides the ones she was giving? Did she know? She raised an eyebrow in question at the redblood as Chiara turned away to open the door.

"Oh, was that all you needed? I was worried." She tugged free a kunai as she moved forward into the dungeon. "I'll be sure to do my best!" And it definitely wasn't weird at all that Chiara had a caged up robot in a dungeon, but who was she to turn down a fight when called on?

She really could have done without the fire, though.

Ephias seemed to see more and more of Civisect and less and less of the swamp these days, so he received Chiara's letter in no time at all. Why the blueblood had not spoken to him directly during his office hours, or called him after baffled the redblood, but there was no deciphering Chiara's intentions. The blueblood worked in labyrinthine plots, often times for little more than the thrill of it. Her request for him to bring his weapon charged him with suspicion however. What had she done this time?

On the date and time written, Ephias showed up to the office with his shears clipped to his belt, medical band strapped to his wrist, and no small amount of wariness. He scouted the outside of the building and surrounding area beforehand to check for an ambush. While he had been careful not to give himself away, he could not underestimate the possibility of her finding out through some other means. His search turned up nothing however, and he resigned himself to whatever she had planned. He went inside to where the blueblood waited.

“What's the problem?” Ephias bypassed any formalities and skipped straight to the point. The blueblood only shook her head, all the while wearing her characteristic smile. She would wait until the second help arrived. Scowling in his usual way, Ephias simmered quietly next to the door. Her aloof demeanour only confirmed his suspicions. The blueblood was up to something.

Ephias did not have to stew for long. A few moments later the extra help arrived. His digestive cavity tied itself into knots when he saw who it was: Etsali. The orangeblood closed the door behind her and strode towards them. Ephias offered her a nod in greeting as his mind turned back to Chiara. Could it be coincidence? Or did the blueblood suspect something?

“I don't think you understand what you hired me for,” Ephias told Chiara when she said he needed a break. A battle requirement had not been anywhere in his contract. A part of him considered leaving but... he needed to determine whether he and Etsali were under any suspicion. Not to mention, he was not about to have the orangeblood fight Chiara's battles alone.

As turned to open the door, Etsali met his eyes and traded him an inquisitive look. Ephias returned the look with a shrug. He had little more idea than she did. Grudgingly he went down the steps after the blueblood, unhitching his shears from his belt.

“Should I ev-even ask?”

Chiara grinned at Ephias's annoyance. He really did need to get out and stretch his legs, look at all that pent up annoyance! The blueblood and nodded as Ephias and Etsali got their weapons out. This was great, all they needed was a little violence and a life threatening situation to bring trolls closer together. "Why ask, when you can stab?" Chiara said as she stabbed the robotic creature with her Katar, a hungry grin on her face.

So Ephias didn't have any more of a clue than she did, then. She considered that as Chiara took her turn stabbing at the robot, then darted in to get another slash of her own against the thing. As she did, its arms went up as well and she dodged back, expecting an attack. When what she got was a rude gesture instead, the orangeblood let out a baffled laugh. "I've never seen one do that before. Was this one of those, uh-" She fished for a word that she ultimately couldn't find and finally just shrugged and continued. "The ones that went crazy a while back?"

Somewhere in the back of his consciousness, Ephias dimly remembered seeing a pack of robotic children storming the outpost from his hive window. The memory felt strangely dreamlike even now. “... I thought I hallucinated that...” he muttered, as he drove his shears into the teen-bot's side. A spurt of black oil gushed out around his blades.

The teen-bot whirled on him, murder in its cold, red eyes. Even as Ephias wrenched his shears free, it released a gout of flame. The flames jumped readily to his sodden clothes, and a half second later he found himself alight.

“Hot, hot, hot!” Frantic, the redblood tried to pat down the flames.

Chiara flinched back. Jeeze that hurt. This thing was supposed to be easy to kill. It was locked in a cage, it was a stupid robot, and it was malfunctioning. "Yeah," Chiara responded to Etsali's comment. "Got a call about it from a client. Guess it ripped the door off." She dashed in for an attack. "Thought it would be an interesting curio."
