Polite: Of course, like any noble, Naevius has to know how to carry herself, and this she does well. Nae is sure to always be polite to everyone (Obans that is, we'll see about Tendajians!) and act with a grace that is expected of her. Her father's expectations of her are high, so she tries to make sure she can be everything he expects of her.
Loyal: If there was one word that described this fire earthling best, it would be loyal. She believes 110% of the Oban's cause and will do anything she can to further it. Of course her family's position might have some at stake but even so, Naevius is as loyal an Oban as you can get. She's loyal to her home, to her family, and those few she considers a friend.
Courageous: Although she was raised with a very cushy lifestyle, Naevius had never lacked courage. It often got her in trouble when she was younger as she'd get into all kinds of mischief when her mother was trying to teach her a how to be a proper lady. Her bravery serves her well being away from home and is one of the biggest reasons she had begged her father to let her travel.
Afraid: As the old saying goes, "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it." Naevius' fears are normally restricted to failing her father though. She has to live up to her family's name and be what people expect her to be, and that can be a lot of pressure for her. She will never let anyone know she's afraid though, except, maybe her close close friends.
Naevius is the daughter of a high lord who's family is known for their beast taming. Her father is also the cousin to the King of Oba. Being a cousin, though, meant there was little chance for Naevius' father to inherit the throne so he reached for something that he could use to make a name for himself. Beasts had always held his fascination and became a prominent beast tamer. Nae's mother, having married into the family had tried her hand at beast taming and, unfortunately, met with an untimely end leaving young Naevius as the lady of the house. Of course, that didn't stop her from doing what she wants: beast taming. It took awhile for Naevius to learn how to balance the responsibilities of her house and what she wants to do, but she figured it out.
One day, before the war had started and preparations were being made, the King called upon his cousin to visit him. He wanted to have someone in the field giving him honest reports, ones that he could be sure to trust. In all honesty, he had wanted his cousin to go with the army and be his informant. But Naevius' father had too much on his hands to even think about leaving. After a little bit more planning, it had been agreed upon that Naevius would go in his place. Being by far one of the most skilled tamers in her family, her father allowed her to travel with the army to help with the beasts that would travel from Oba to Jahuar and to send reports back to court. While she personally wishes she could just fade into the rest of the beast tamer prentices, her station prohibits that. "My lady" and "Lady Naevius" almost plague her wherever she goes but with her proper childhood and noble birth, she learns to almost not hear the word "lady" anymore. Of course, it does come in handy when other approach her since they announce their purpose before speaking to her. It does allow her certain luxuries of home that the regular soldiers and tamers don't have. A tent of her own, a rather large one at that, in the center of the rest of the nobles. Duty called upon her to speak with generals for their reports as well as attending various parties that other nobles who journeyed to the fairgrounds afterwards would throw. Her presence there was a high honor for the hosts and Nae would normally stay as long as was required. It gave her another point of view on how things were going and allowed her to keep up on the latest gossip. Although she didn't put much stock into the rumors of the lower nobility, Nae did know every lie or rumor was made around a seed of truth. She had vowed that she would do her best to her father and to the King, so Nae intended on doing just that.

Well since she is considered a noble, they would treat her more formally, so "my lady" or some other sort of formal acknowledgement like "Miss" or "Lady Naevius" or something when addressing her would work. :] It would be a 'pause and formally announce your business before talking to her if you're an Oban' kind of thing
