The young hybrid nearly melted at Kresimir's words. He was a sweet boy, and one she felt a special connection to, having been the first to see him arrive in this world, and the first to hold him shortly before he passed into his mother's arms.

Kelina smiled at Ime. "I'm very grateful for you keeping my little trouble maker in line! I'll make it up to you." She smile gratefully. Shifting her bow to rest on her shoulder. "I think everything is just about done here. Where are you planning on going afterwards?" There were some things she hadn't told her family yet, the very fact that they would have to try and find a new place to live. Seeing as how Kres was so attached to Ime, as she was herself, she didn't want to end up too far away from Ime. It could be a start on where to live anyway.

"Oh, it was no trouble," she reassured the woman, offering her a smile. Kelina didn't owe her anything. She liked to think that any good friend would have done the same and tried to keep the lone boy safe and away from the action. There had been so little of said action, though, she had to wonder what had happened.
"I don't really know. I've only ever known the war. I'll probably just go home if it really is as well-over as they say. I can always train some more, and now I feel like I can be more useful. Maybe I'll go to Neued and help them rebuild. They had a giant tree making their casters sick, you know, and something about reanimation... They'd had enough problems before the Obans came!"

Naevius was frustrated that she didn't hear any response. It made her kind of angry. There was obviously something going on but just what was it. It made her resume her pacing as she once again felt anxiety. When Sebastien called out as well, she couldn't help but smile a little. "I don't think they're going to tell us anything..." It made her angry. Half of the captives were of noble bloodline, they deserved to be treated well and at least updated. Maybe it was a special kind of torture.

"Maybe they'll just forget we're here after a while," he joked. It did seem like they weren't going to learn anything, but he imagined as long as there were guards they were safe. Then came a little reassurance: "I'm sure we'll know soon."

Makani remained quiet while he worked on Gyuri's wounds, only finally nodding when they were all dealt with, "Luckily it wasn't anything serious but you need to be more careful next time." He informed the giant of a man that was the bodyguard to the troupe. The problem of course being that, due to his job, that Gyuri wouldn't really be able to be as careful as Makani would like. It was his job to keep everyone safe even if that meant that Gyuri was hurt instead. It was the job that he'd been offered and had accepted, something Makani would have to get used to.
Taking a step back he said, "I would love to stay here with you and Eira but I need to keep going, I know there are others that will also need me. Be sure to let Eira know that I will be helping out in the healer's tents, alright?" He said, reaching up to pat the big man on the arm before stepping around him, making his way toward where the healer's tents were located. Truth be told that was where he'd expected to be during the battle, he never thought that he would be actually find himself in the midst of such things. It wasn't something that he'd expected but he was glad that he was there, he'd been able to heal several people after all, something that brought joy to his heart.
He knew he had the power to fight and to kill, but if he could avoid using his magic for that sort of thing in the future he would. He'd much rather keep people safe with his powers instead. As such he would go to the healer's tents, see who needed him there. A part of him wondered if that bestial warrior from earlier would be there, or was he still off fighting despite the battle being wrapped up? He supposed he'd see soon enough.

Gyuri watched as Makani headed on his way, off to use those powers of his to help more people, before his attention turned toward Eira. He hadn't noticed her there at first, not until Makani had pointed her out. Now that he knew where she was though he was quick to rush over to her, giving her a once over, then sighed in relief when he saw that she was alright. The only problem being was that she was alone. Where was Borra? Where was Sin'qua? What about the Viveka? He didn't like the fact that he didn't see everyone at once, in fact he wanted to rush off to find them, to make sure that they were safe!
He forced himself to calm down though, it wouldn't help anyone if he went charging off like a crazed Mammu. No, he had to calm down, concentrate, and help to find everyone with a clear mind instead. Turning toward Eira he said, "Makani went to the healer's tent." Best that he let her know that her brother wasn't just running off to do... well, whatever it was that he did when he wasn't with them. As often as he wandered off Gyuri was a little curious where he got off to, especially given his lack of sight, but he supposed that unless he was getting into troupe that it wasn't exactly his business. The troupe, and their safety, was his business so if Makani was just off playing around then he'd have to leave him to it.
"The others?" He asked of Eira, a hint of worry in his voice that he couldn't hide. He was worried that they could be hurt but he had to pray to Bergchi for the best in this situation and look to the troupe leader for guidance.

Eira gave a nod of her head, "I figured that might be where he was rushing off to. The boy really seems to think that he needs to do everything and save everyone by himself." Not something that she much cared for but at least he was going somewhere safer for the time being. The fact that he had been caught up in battle wasn't something that sat well with her, not when she knew that Makani was blind. He'd been tricked by the Obans once before, it could have happened again... but seeing that he'd come out of it safely was a relief to Eira. She was glad that he was going back to the healer's tents though, he'd be away from the Obans then. Until the treaties that she'd heard spoken of were signed she'd rather Makani stay far away from the Obans and the threat that they posed to someone as kind as him.
Turning to Gyuri she gave a shake of her head, "I can't say I know where the others are but now that I have you we can work together to find them." She said, reaching out to take Gyuri's arm with hers, "Alright, you stay with me, and we will find the others in no time." She would be sure to hold onto Gyuri, not wanting to lose her giant in the crowd as they searched for everyone else. With luck, and if Bergchi was on their side, they would wrangle everyone up and they could be on their way in no time.

The majority of the soldiers, as a gesture of peace on the Obans' part, returned to their camp - but the decorated man remained, along with a small group of soldiers to defend him. He was a noble - that much was clear from the way he held himself with a distinguished air, and yet he also knew his way around a battle camp; he knew where to look, where to gesture for soldiers to confirm a safe route of exit, should they need to flee suddenly. Still, they walked with their white flag aloft.
Naria, who had handed her Yaotl to a young water boy, who led the exhausted creature away, crossed her arms and glared at the noble stepped to the tent of the elders, surrounded by those who dared to stay close. Many of the naysayers, those who suggested surrendering, now trickled from camp, hastily gathering their things, scared off by the presence of Obans. Once settled, the decorated man gave Naria a look. "I would like the king's daughter released - as well as any other nobles that were captured. In return, our king is willing to --"
"Wait - hold on." Naria interrupted, confused. "The king? To my knowledge the king doesn't have a daughter!" This was enough to make her lift her blade again, but the Oban raised a hand to gesture her for silence. Naria stopped speaking, then became angrier at the fact that his carefree motion had successfully made her snap her lips shut, and it left her to fuming as he continued. "The old king did not. However, we have a new king - a righteous king. And he is willing to lend the might of our kingdom to these... lands ... and agree to end this campaign, if you release the nobles into our custody - and allow us to found a settlement along the border of our lands.
The elders looked among eachother, their brows furrowed. An end to the war was a good thing - but it also meant giving up their only bartering card. That... and it meant the Shifters and Alkidike giving up a portion of land to the Obans. This didn't sit well with Yansa or Antiope - but under the expectant eyes of the others, there wasn't much they could do. "We'll consider those options when we make a treaty." Yansa finally said, stiffly.
"And what of Matori?" Naria shot out. The Oban royal made a sour expression, then looked away, "Once I retrieve the princess, I can return to the king and confirm his position on Matori. Until then I...
"No." The water tribeswoman said, crossing her arms. "Without Matori free, you will NOT be getting back your princess - or any noble."
This statement caused a stir among those assembled. Enki scowled and stepped towards her, tugging her by the arm to spin and look at him, "It wasn't water soldiers who captured these prisoners - it was Tendaji blood. You have no right to--
"But without Naria, we'd have had no command." Antiope said, very quietly, her input heard not by the Oban party standing feet away, but only by the elders close by. Looking between an enraged Enki and other concerned faces, Antiope fisted her hands in front of her. "This whole battle has been marked by indecisiveness - without Naria, there would be no central figure to rally behind. She may not be our leader, but she fought with us - surely that means something?"
After speaking among themselves for a short time, much to the apparent impatience of the Oban royal, the elders turned back to their soon-to-be allies. "You will sign a treaty, on paper, vowing that Matori, and all her citizens, will go free - and you will stop your campaigns in Tendaji. In return, we'll return your royals - and allow you a settlement in Jauhar."
It hardly seemed fair, the Oban royals murmured, but they had been told, in no uncertain terms, to bring back the princess - no matter what. So the royal scowled, but nodded. Disappearing into the tent, a makeshift treaty was drawn up and signed.
The war was over, somewhat officially. But there is still much healing to be done throughout the lands.
[The Obans have surrendered, and over time their forces will retreat back to Oba. For now, the Oban prisoners of noble blood have been returned to their people.
Through a coup d'etat, the king has been deposed and replaced with his cousin, who is backed by the nobility. No one is sure exactly why this happened, but rumors say the king was not willing to negotiate for the return of the captured nobles - and ordered General Talia to attack without regard for their safety. No matter the case, Oba is far from stabilized and the release of their Matori slaves has further unsettled the structure of Oban society.]

Versatile Points will be allocated a bit... differently this time. Due to the battle only going 4 rounds, no one had the chance to rack up enough points for a battle req.
Instead, all posts/points were added and can be exchanged for a variety of points and prizes.

Healer's Accolade
For those who made a potion in the Potions and Poisons Mini-game. Adds a Healing Effect in your next growth art - ie. green sparkles, glowing fingers, a glow, etc.
Physicians Bane
For those who made a poison in the Potions and Poisons Mini-game. Adds a Poison Effect in your next growth art - ie. purple haze, stained weapon, dark tinted hands, etc.
Yaotl's Companion
For those who posted 10 times in the Feed the Beast mini-game.
Allows a growth or familiar edit to include bridles, falconing gloves, or other tamer related accessories.

Q. Can items be added to my Inventory? A. Only the Yaotl's Companion item may be added to the inventory. However since the Tokens rely on points they can NOT be added to the inventory. Healer's Accolade and Physician's Bane rely on that CHARACTER having created a potion/poison, and so would be added to the character's inventory, not the Inventory page for a user.
Q. What do I do with items from Potions and Poisons that I didn't use? A. Each potion or poison may either be exchanged for 5 exp each, trading for a Physician's Bane item, or redeemed for a Shop Item. Redeem by posting in this thread.
Q. How do I get a Healer's Accolade/Physician's Bane? A. Healers Accolade and Physicians Bane were intended to be bound to the character who crafted in the Poisons and Potions mini-game - but now it is NOT character bound! Any user who participated may trade one of their inventory items (found in the spoiler under Inventory here ) or trade 2 points for the item.
Anyone who did NOT participate in Potions and Poisons may redeem for 5 points.
Q. My Final Stage character earned points... what now?? A. ONLY FOR STAGE 4 CHARACTERS - you may transfer that characters' points to another character that you play. However, the receiving character may ONLY receive a maximum of 7 points, even if multiple characters are giving them points.
