Welcome • • • • • This is the plot thread for the Jovian court — a group of unique individuals with unified beliefs and goals. Beliefs that Chaos is evil at its core, and does not necessarily extend to those within its grasp, and the acceptance that all are equal, despite their level of power, propel this group through increasingly dark days. Brief History • • • • •During the breakup of the Blood Moon Court and the creation of the Dark Mirror Court, a small group of friends and acquaintances joined together with the notion of “many as one” to strengthen their bonds with one another in order to push Chaos back.
They may not always get along, and their differences may always keep them from knowing each other as true friends, but a Jovian is loyal to those who join them, a friend and ally to those who stand up against Chaos, and a support for those who may have become lost.
While the core members have remained close friends for the past couple years, they realize that the threat of Chaos is growing stronger, and have decided to reach out to others who may want to join them in their fight.

Beliefs • • • • •Through their experiences as a team and before, members of the Jovian court share certain beliefs and ideals that, while they may not make them unique among dozens of others, still tie them together and give them something to stand for, or against. • Everyone has equal value, no matter their “rank” or experience.
• The torture and killing of others in cold blood is forbidden.
• Chaos is evil at its core, but there is always hope for the redemption of individuals.
• Forced purification isn’t any better than corruptions.
The Jovians don't have ideal candidates, but a prospective Jovian would likely exhibit at least a few of these virtues, or believe in their power to do good. Resilience • Keep going even though things look dark.
Empathy • Connect imaginatively with the sufferings and unique experiences of others.
Patience • Realizing things can’t be perfect.
Sacrifice • Putting selfishness to the side for someone else.
Politeness • Tolerance and common courtesy for others.
Humor • The bridge between disappointment and dreams, and the best thing to conquer sadness.
Forgiveness • Living with others isn’t possible without excusing errors.
Hope • Pessimism isn’t necessarily deep, nor optimism shallow. Never giving into despair.
Confidence • Constant awareness of how short life is and how little we ultimately lose from risking everything - it isn’t arrogance.
Self-Awareness • To know oneself and not blame others.

Goals • • • • •One day, there will be no need to walk the streets, fearful of youma, the Negaverse, or the DMC. One day, people will be able to settle down, grow old, and have families. One day, the Jovians will look back and realize that peace was possible because they, and others like them, never gave up.
The goals of the Jovians vary from individual to individual. One person's dreams is no less important than another, but they all agree that in order for them to be able to live their lives normally again, Chaos must be pushed back.
How they reach that goal is through their every day actions and strengthening bonds with each other. No voice is too quiet and no opinion unimportant. As long as they stay true to themselves, and to each other, they will do whatever it takes to help be the force that drives Chaos into the darkness once more.

Structure • • • • •The Jovians formed under the “Many as One” mentality, or “E pluribus unum”. They work together as a group towards a common goal, strengthened by each other’s unique abilities and talents, and not just the experience and power level of those who have been there the longest. For this reason, the Jovians have no leader, but prefer to discuss and compromise on all court decisions.

Current Jovians • • • • •Although the Jovians are founded and named on the basis of their historical ties to each other, there is no requirement that any present day Jovian have any tie with Jupiter.

How to Join • • • • •Interested in getting more information about the Jovians, ICly, or even joining? It isn't a complicated process, but it will require meeting at least two current Jovians, who will then do their best to explain a group that is still in the process of forming and becoming stable.
Anyone is welcome to join, as long as they agree with and work towards the Jovian beliefs and goals. They do not have to be ideal members, but they have to be willing to share their unique abilities and talents in order to find a way to end the war.

Alliances • • • • •There is always a potential for joining up with the Jovians — whether it be with only a few of them, or as many as there are able, whether it is something temporary or permanent, the Jovians are always willing to hear others' out and lend a helping hand. Or maybe they'll need help from others! Civilian or order, as long as they make strides towards an end to the war, the sky is the limit.
