Ballet - Linnea's most time-intensive and beloved hobby is ballet. She has practiced it since she was very young and devotes a great deal of her free time to it. She practices daily, and dreams of performing professionally. Sadly, her love of ballet will never be able to transcend into something professional. She is, to put it bluntly, just not that great. Good? Yes, she is fine. More than fine. But she lacks greatness. Her gestures are elegant and graceful, but never ethereal or breathtaking. Her pointe work is sufficient. Although she should fulfill the requirements of a great dancer well enough – thin and slightly bowlegged, swan-like neck, bust size of absolute zero – something is missing from her. Her skill is carved out of the rock of endless practice. It lacks the effortless beauty of true talent
Puzzle Games - Outside her ballet obsession Linnea enjoys solving certain kinds of logic puzzles. If she gets her hands on a puzzle game she is gone for hours. She especially enjoys trial-and-error and testing out different ways of solving the same problem, riddle-based logic games aren't really her thing. Though nowhere near enough to be considered a geek or a gamer girl, Linnea does play a fair amount of video games because of this. It doesn't matter the genre so long as it's got strategy/puzzles in it! She's a big fan of Sudoku! You'd think this would make her a better student in math but, alas, life is surprising at times. She's not very good at applying her logic skills to the rest of her life. In a game you can try again but in life there are no reset buttons.
Unfinished Mystery Novels - She has a weird habit/hobby of reading mystery novels halfway through. Once she thinks she's certain of who the killer is she flips to the very end to see if she's right. Right or wrong, either way she never actually reads the middle of the book. She still considers herself as having "finished" them since the whole point is to find out who the killer is, right? Unless it's one of those gross romance-mystery novels where the whole murder plot is really just an excuse to get two characters together. Ugh.
Virtues
Candid – Sometimes a double-edged sword. She is rather honest by default and her manner of speaking is to the point. She tries her best to be rather tactful and does what she can to avoid being cruel, choosing her words carefully if she's worried about hurting someone's feelings. And if she's not worried about your feelings she can be rather blunt. Either way, the most important thing to her is getting the whole and truthful message across in a way that's clearly understood. It's a very fine line that Linnea attempts to walk with some semblance of grace. But when she speaks before thinking, she's in one of her gloomy moods, or the subject comes to bear on her own insecurities she can end up putting her foot in her mouth.
Focused – When Linnea locks onto a specific task that needs doing she sees it through to the end with unflappable determination. It also applies to things other than obvious tasks, such as sticking by friends and family members during tough times. She is not a very good multitasker and puts all of her mental (and physical, in the case of ballet) energy into doing one important thing as best she can. Sometimes other things she'd like to devote time to get dropped as a result. As implied by her second hobby she enjoys seeing things to their full resolution and finding the best ways to solve a problem. Once something or someone has caught her attention it keeps her attention.
Generous – Being of an upper middle-class background Linnea is not used to wanting things beyond her reach or being unable to give gifts and she lives her life with the full expectancy of being able to continue living it in the exact same manner. She could hardly be called irresponsible with money but when it comes to friends and giving gifts Linnea places sentiment over practicality. Meaning she can spent it up without really thinking it's a big deal, so long as it made someone happy. She has a tendency to lend out money and forget to ask for it back. She allows friends to borrow dresses and accessories for indefinite periods of time and is loathe to deny someone their god-given right to cheat off her test or homework (a fair amount of the answers are probably wrong, anyway). Subconsciously, Linnea feels that by giving out money or gifts she can make up for the things she doesn't do right as a friend, so even when she knows she's being taken advantage of she'll let it pass. Linnea figures that she probably deserves it for something mean she said.
Affectionate - Very much so. If Linnea decides she thinks you're a good person you'll know immediately. She dotes on her friends with gifts and compliments. She is fairly physical with people she's comfortable around, so close friends are very liable to get hugged, grabbed and occasionally danced with. Her only exception applies to dating, oddly enough. When it comes to a serious boyfriend Linnea is much more reserved, perhaps from fear of being hurt. She's not a big fan of kissing in public and hates baby-talk any time (she finds it rather undignified), and she's never found anniversaries to be anything more than silly. But she does flirt a lot, especially with friends and people she's comfortable with. The line is drawn at "mushy stuff" (bleh!). It's also rather rare that Linnea decides she dislikes someone entirely from the get-go. If something seems off about someone she tries to remain neutral towards them until they prove themselves to be truly ill-natured. To Linnea, all people are a blend of light and shade and just one first impression will never show you both sides. It seems she has a hard time accepting that people are sometimes just douches.
Flaws
Insecure – Linnea is acutely aware of her own faults. She analyzes herself constantly, weighing herself against others and becoming sad or angry when she finds she doesn't measure up. She doesn't believe her expectations of herself are unrealistic, though she knows they're high, and Linnea is frustrated constantly by her inability to achieve them. Anything about herself is fair game, though she doesn't agonize over all of them the same amount. She can nitpick her grade point average and physical appearance if there's honestly nothing else to think about, but her ballet skills and her personality eternally lacking in her eyes: The ballet is worthless, just a pathetic game she plays since she'll never become a real dancer. She's a horrible friend for thinking envious thoughts. Why did she say those nasty things? How can her friends tolerate her? And on and on and on.
Envious – Though it's most apparent whenever she talks about ballet, Linnea's envious side creeps into all aspects of her life. Knowing her own failings so well causes her to watch her more talented friends with a certain amount of bitter jealousy. But if it were limited only to ballet it wouldn't be a part of her personality, and envy drives Linnea more than she would like to admit or can even realize. In some cases it's a motivation to do better, even if it's the wrong kind. There is a competitive spirit in her. Of course she'd like to see people around her do well... she'd just secretly like to do a little bit better. It's something that feeds her bitterness, towards people who she should want to succeed and a encourages searing disappointed loathing of her own shortcomings. Her interactions with people can become tainted by her own jealousy of them. Most often her envy causes her to...
Belligerent – ... Say hurtful things! Her own insecurities find a way of climbing out of her mouth, and in a moment of fear or even just plain not paying attention she'll say something rather cutting and hurtful. Sometimes she'll realize what she said crossed the line and apologize quickly, other times she'll only start to regret hours later. When she is called on her cruelty she is actually somewhat humiliated. No one wants to think of themselves as cruel to the people they care about and Linnea is no exception to that. But enemies beware - if you're not someone Linnea cares for, you have a hate machine on your hands. Once she's finally made the call that yes, someone really is a terrible person, it's time to start the fight. And that's when her her "focused" side kicks in and she drags it out.
Moody - Some days Linnea feels her efforts aren't worth much. When her insecurities reach the boiling point and overflow she falls into a foul mood. She gets snappy and petty with her friends, angry and combative with her not-friends (as noted above) and acts generally withdrawn and cold to everyone. It's one of the traits that has persisted since her early childhood, and possibly one of her most embarrassing when she thinks about it. Most of the time her moods don't last longer than a day, they pass like clouds blocking out the sun. But during that day she's fairly unpleasant to be around and she knows it. It's hard to talk her out of a foul mood or cheer her up, so Linnea generally spends the day sulking around without much enthusiasm for anything.
Physical Appearance
Eyes: Sharp, elegantly slanted eyes. They're a warm honey brown color.
Hair: A dusty pale pink color. Her hair is fairly long, stopping at her lower back with her bangs swept to one side. She allows two chin-length locks in front of her ears to hang free. Normally she keeps her hair in two very loose braids that she hooks over her shoulders to rest on her chest. When she practices ballet she pulls all of it back into a regular ol' boring bun.
Face: Heart-shaped face, pale peachy skin with a sparse smattering of curiously dark brown freckles. They cover her arms and torso as well.
Clothes: Uniform! She attends Meadowview. Going to Crystal with a dance scholarship would have been nice but- well, you know.
Her regular wear is usually pretty girly. She prefers dresses and skirts over pants and such, and she likes to mix a kind of wild romantic style with some more sophisticated pieces. Like, she's inclined to wear a dress that has lots of ruffles and rough layers and pair it with a very tailored military-inspired waistcoat.
For ballet practice she wears the standard black leotard with the pale pink tights. Her toe-shoes are white.

Kiss of Tragic Fault
Usage: 2 times in battle.
Target: Single.
Casting motion/Range: Euanthe taps her index and middle finger to her lips and pulls her hand away in a quick motion similar to blowing a kiss. A thin needle of light shoots from her hand as she does, causing the following effects if it hits somewhere on the target's body. The attack can fly 6 feet at its furthest distance and even though it travels fast it's small, so it can be avoided even by accident if the target happens to move when she does it.
Effect: Euanthe's magic amplifies a flaw in the opponent's fighting style slightly. The other player chooses what part of their character's fighting style is affected and how that plays out. For example... If she's fighting a heavy weight youma that hits hard but moves slowly, the magic will cause the youma to move slightly slower. Basically just enough for a visible lag.
Duration/Complications: Lasts 1 minute, ideally. Euanthe's magic works better or worse depending on what level her opponent is on. Against youma and Lieutenant/1st stage Senshi her magic works full strength. Against Captain/Super level opponents the magic only lasts for 30 seconds. It doesn't work at all against General/Eternal level opponents.
Kiss of Bitter Imperfection
Usage: 1 time.
Target: Single.
Casting motion/Range: Euanthe makes the same motion, this time tapping twice at her lips. Same range.
Effect: Same deal, light power upgrade. Using the same youma example the slow down would be more evident than the 1st version of the attack. It works at full strength for enemies at her level or below. Against higher level opponents it lasts for 30 seconds and it is also only half as effective. It does not effect General-King/Royal level opponents at all, even if Euanthe were to use the attack as an Eternal Senshi herself.
The magic this time also has a very slight psychological side effect, causing one of the target's personality flaws to surface. This is also chosen by the other player.
For example... If "gullible" is the chosen flaw, the character might start to believe the taunts of the opposing team even if they'd usually just ignore them. Or if the character is usually apprehensive about going into battle, they might start to actually feel scared. However, this part of the attack can be dispelled entirely with some good ol' mental fortitude. Seeing Euanthe cast it is obviously going to make an opponent aware of its effect on them, meaning they're more likely to be able to resist it.
Fatal Flaw
Usage: 1 time in battle.
Target: Up to 3 people.
Casting motion/Range: Euanthe crosses her wrists in front of her chest, hands open and palms facing outward, and waits momentarily before throwing her arms apart and releasing a wave of magic out in front of her. It has a sort of crescent shape to it. It expands out from her and increases in size until it reaches its maximum width of 4 feet across, but if it hits anything it'll dissipate. It can travel 10 feet at the most. Though the attack is wide and it moves fast, Euanthe's pause before unleashing it also gives opponents a heads up. It can only fly straight, like her other attacks, so avoiding it is as simple as getting out of the way, getting behind something, or throwing an object into its path to make it vanish.
Effect: Targets hit by the magic are caused some kind of mental anguish based on a personality flaw of their player's choosing. To use Euanthe herself as an example, if hit by the attack her personality flaw "insecure" will suddenly grow to overwhelm her. Her sense of self-worth would suddenly drop dramatically and she'd be too busy doubting herself and her skills as a Senshi to fight in any kind of useful manner. Or if it were to affect her "envious" flaw, she would suddenly become incredibly jealous and competitive with her own teammates, becoming bitter about how much better they are at being Senshi, or how much more useful their attacks are, causing her to not fight cohesively with her allies. It doesn't necessarily stop an opponent from fighting, it just gets in the way.
Duration/Complications: It lasts 1 minute and a half, but a particularly strong or focused opponent could also fight against the attack's psychological effects and escape from it in half that time. Or maybe they're just so goddamn depressed already that they don't even give a damn and just keep fighting as they normally do, lol.

FAMILY
Linnea is an only child. She is very, very glad of that. Her family unit is a comfortable size as far as she and her father are concerned. They're firmly upper-middle class, with a decent sized house and enough money to hire a cleaning lady to come once every other week.
Lydia Akelson (Mother) - A very home and status-oriented woman. Home, of course, includes all the social obligations of a family with money. Lydia Akelson isn't home as often as someone who identifies as a "homemaker" should be. There is a great deal to keep her occupied - a constant rearranging of the house's interior design elements, posh shopping trips, yoga classes, luncheons with other ladyfriends, all those ballet recitals.... Lydia's home is nearly spotless, because whatever time is left over after all of her errands is spent making sure her beautiful home is as clean and impressive as it should be. It's important your guests know immediately just how tasteful and classy you really are, after all. As absent as she often is, Lydia is not a neglectful mother. Busy though she may be, she tends to spoil her daughter slightly and constantly makes allowances that her father would disapprove of. Much to his dismay, Linnea has picked up her mother's spending habits.
Johan Akelson (Father) - A second generation Swedish immigrant who built upon the business his father started. He sold it for a tidy sum, smartly invested and now spends most of his working day managing his money in ways to make him more of it. He takes a passive interest in domestic matters, more or less a hapless bystander subject to the whims of his wife. So long as she doesn't overspend he doesn't take much mind. Johan sometimes worries that his wife doesn't spend enough time being a "proper" mother to their daughter, fearing she uses money and objects in place of spending time with Linnea. The subject is one they don't directly address, but underlies the majority of their fights. Ironically, for all his worries about Lydia's mothering abilities Johan himself spends just as little time with Linnea as she does.
So far as Linnea is concerned, neither of her parents are sinners nor saints. Her life has been comfortable and happy. Not to mention she's at an age where the last thing she wants to do is spend quality time with her parents.

Little Facts
★ Linnea's interest lies primarily in romantic and classical ballet. She enjoys the drawn out, mime-y stories of performances like Swan Lake, etc. It's like a play within a dance act so long as you know the vocabulary. She also likes the shape of balanchine and romantic tutus much more than platter or pancake tutus.
★ Going along with her ballet interests, Linnea tends to listen to quite a bit of classical music. She doesn't love the genre but she tends to know who composed what and she can recognize quite a few songs.
★ Linnea's favorite color is grey.
★ Her favorite song is American Pie by Don McLean. She doesn't know why.
★ The Akelsons have a house cat named Turnip. He is not magical in the least. That's okay.
★ The Akelsons (or Linnea, it should be said) have both a PS3 and an Xbox 360. But not a Wii, which is what she probably should've gotten instead of either of those.
★ Linnea is utterly perplexed by her own inability to commit to/care about a romantic relationship after the first 16 hours are over. She swears she's not that kind of girl...
★ She is scared of large spiders, so any one that shows up in her house she kills without exception. She is very satisfied after they're dead. She does not believe in mercy for big, scary spiders. Little ones are okay as long as they're not on her. Tarantulas are okay, weirdly enough.
★ Linnea's family is sorta rich, so she's got quite a bit in her closet and accessories drawers!~
