Race: Mouryou

Mouryou refers to a red and black rabbit-like creature which is generally about four feet high with razor sharp claws and many rows of teeth. Mouryou are known for eating things of the flesh, generally human, and will often search for their favorite meal which tends to be freshly buried corpses, or more specifically, their livers. In lore they stalk graveyards to feed on freshly laid corpses and have been known to attack the living when in starvation mode. They feed every night and have high metabolisms which keep them in a constant state of "want".

Personality: Alamea is extremely excitable. She can bounce from one thing to the next with a zealous aura about her. Because of this she can be a bit over-bearing with the amount of energy she uses in simple tasks as with meeting other people and beginning something new. She prefers not to sit still if she can manage it, liking the outdoors as opposed to sitting inside on a rainy day.

As outwardly giddy as that she may seem most of the time, she has rather selfish tendencies. Sharing with Alamea rarely happens as she is used to hoarding, food especially, and doesn't take pleasure in sharing with others. As food is her main pleasure in life taking it from her generally ends with dire consequences for the thief. In regards to people, this makes her fiercely loyal to those she holds dear (which she can be VERY possessive over) and can often lead to fits of jealousy or even a vindictive nature in some cases. When her excitable nature is compromised in such a way she can become quiet and introverted with a seething rage building under the surface.

Because of her zealous and even over-zealous traits she is often impatient with things, including people and tasks. When she gets this way she'll try to talk herself out of it to attempt to bounce onto the next thing which can often be mistaken for indifference when really she's just in a hurry.

Steel Stomach:
Due to their high metabolism, Mouryou tend to eat whatever comes into contact with their mouth and thus their stomachs can handle anything that goes into it, be it inorganic, organic or otherwise. As Mea has been consistently trying new items to eat her teeth are now capable of biting directing through wooden and soft mineral items.

Late Night Snack (The Chill):
Alamea always keeps a snack around in her pockets. In emergencies she will pull it out and eat it for a health boost. It might actually be a placebo effect as she does not need to eat but it makes her happier to have eaten.
