After a brief search around the area it was clear there were no glasses in sigh, and reluctantly she broke this news to the tree, which of coursed sobbed even louder.
"D- don't cry...I'm sure you can get a new pair..." With no other way to help the tree she moved onwards.

The first tree dotdotdot encountered was ... sad and broken, its branches threatening to fall off at any moment. She walked closer,and it asked her if she would be willing to look for its glasses. She was confused as to why a tree would need glasses - afterall, trees didn't have eyes, right? But she felt so bad for the poor tree that she agreed. That and considering all the extraordinary occurrences that had happened so far, she wasn't too surprised.

It was true that the previous tree led her nowhere and everywhere as she continued to walk. Behind her she could feel her tail wriggling excitedly and she stopped as it went rigid, a tree nearby catching her attention. "Hmmm?" It was taller than the others, longer and looked rather odd. With a tentative hand she reached towards it and jumped back as it not only moved, but spoke. "Clean?" She questioned. "Since when is a tree ever clean?" She looked to the tree for an answer but received none and she shrugged, walking away from it.
Impatient as she was she only gave it moments, the questions still swirling in her head. Shaking it back and forth she marched back to where it had been. "Hey how about-" n0ms stopped in her tracks. The tree was gone? "Well, I guess if it can talk it can walk..." The comment was made quietly and she looked down the path, following it to see if maybe she could see where it had gone. Or maybe to find another tree she could talk to.

Obviously a little rankled by her previous tree encounter, sweetm00n was a little stand-offish when she came to the next tree. "I don't know, can you not beat me violently with your branches if i do?" Of course, it was all show, as she was not the kind of girl who could ever walk away from someone in trouble. Making a bit of a show of it, she began to search.

He had trailed only a ways away from the sobbing tree before he began digging around in the foliage. It took a good ten minutes, but eventually the glint of the glasses and plucked them up. "GOT EM!" Not that the tree was close enough to hear, but he did quickly come darting back to the thing, the object held high in his triumph.
The tree began to happily babble as he handed them back over to the tree before it tugged him into a rather... abrupt embrace. And while Aki wasn't displeased with the sign of affection, he could have done without the squeak and pain that came with being squeezed a touch too tight by a rough ol' tree. He found himself being handed another of those fragment bits at that point, smiling. "Oh no! Thanks for let me help!" He chimed back, waving to the tree before turning to leave. "Take care of them now!" The glasses. Obviously.
What if he lost them again?

9: You reach a tree with a lot of signs on it. The signs read "This, Way, To, Nowhere, And, Everywhere." They are in separate signs, and the "And" is a separate sign of its own. This is a very informative tree!

He searched around the base of the tree and even further into the roots of the trees nearby, but he couldn't find the glasses it had mentioned. He returned and apologized, but though the tree was upset he moved on.

Falling on his rump from the willow barrage, SS found himself plunked next to a very small tree, grinning at him. "Guess what I've got in my mouth!" It squealed happily, eyes beaming down at the fallen man.
"...s**t?" He replied, not at all amused by the thing's game.
"I'm hiding something in my mouth!" It squealed again, this time revealing a strange fragment that he remembered needing. Pocketing the treasure, SS stood and gave the tree a little nod. Maybe he shouldn't be so snarky...

He reached out for one last tree but just as he was about to touch it he bent down and away, leaning over him intimidatingly.

Emerging head first out of a bush a moment later, out of breath but triumphantly clutching the glasses, she took the hug like a champ. Sure it was prickly but it was a hug and she bet it would tell everyone else who passed by just how nice she had been. Accepting the fragment graciously, she disentangled herself and moved on.

"Okay, last tree, now I gotta...okay what is this?" Jack stopped in front of a tree covered in stripes, wondering why in jacks name would a tree have such weird stripes.
Said tree then decided to comment about how un silly it was to have stripes. Though she found herself confused as apparentl everythign was both possible and impossible.
Whatever, she'd figure it out later. When asked, she stepped closer and shook the tree as hard as she could (and watched it go through all the colors of the rainbow...what did it mean), then grinned when she was given a fragment for her troubles.
"Now thats what I'm talking about!" She held the precious item in her hands as she went back to the sign post, looking it all over and then realizing..she had no idea what these things did. Though she did recall something telling her these with important...
Reaching the sigh, she gasped as a surge of power flowed through her. So that's what it felt like to level up...

Getting smacked around by a tree was by no means considered fun. Making a face, he immediately backed off from the stupid, aggressive thing, grumbling grumpily about how this place sucked.
