For some reason, she had the impression that willow trees were very wise and perhaps could answer her question. FrozenFlower respectfully approached the thickly grown willow, hoping to glean a few words of wisdom.

Only for her to be pelted with leaves from the rather hostile tree.
....Maybe it was just shy, like what the signpost said.

She'd just have to find another to talk to then.

The next tree was vaguely reminiscent of a scareling, what with the eager way that it cried out asking him to guess what it was hiding. Deciding to bite, the boil sighed, folding his arms over his chest.

"Okay. What are you hiding?"

Seeming excited that he had asked, it revealed its mouth, as well as a small fragment that was sitting inside. Warily reaching out to take it--half-expected for it to chomp down on his fingers as soon as he got close--Puppetking muttered a thank you before proceeding onwards.

This was by by far the craziest dream he'd ever had. Maybe. It felt like a dream, but it was just bizarre enough that maybe it was real. And here, somehow he wasn't himself. He was wearing a magnificent fur cloak however, luscious black fur something that he would pick out, but his armor was ridiculous. A bit overly clunky, but apparently that was good for his...class. Now he was a "caterpillar." It sounded, again, ridiculous, but he was going to just go with it.

Along with the name BigMac. He wanted a nice crisp name, and Macintosh was a mouthful. But somehow BigMac just worked, and if anyone disagreed or had something to say about it? He'd set them straight.

If only they'd set them straight about this card nonsense he suddenly had knowledge of. He was ready to just go forth and mess around with things until they worked, and then some sign started talking to him.

He was debating the merits of being rude, and just moving past the sign, but instead he just sighed. "Trees?"

The really and accompanying sigh was to be understood.

"Fine."

He clonked along over to a tree, picking out a particularly tall one, and then the tree started to move. He stared at it, reaching out to touch it just to make sure it was a tree, and the thing started talking. Crinkling his nose he turned back to the sign to give it a look as if to say See? See what you've done? but by the time he looked back the tree was completely gone.

Eh, he was still counting it as an examination.

Dream or not, this was ridiculous. The outfit options for her class were a bit over the top. And with so few options it was an actual dilemma. The black and white striped pants were classy, but not really her. The red was definitely more her color, but with white? Not her cup of tea, not when she was already eyeing the white coat to go on top. Eventually she settled on the orange and yellow, nice, bright colors that reminded her of home. And she would stand out. Oh yes she would. And at least the subtle pink hues to the white wouldn't clash.

Name set, Ra.One after an obviously great hero, and it was time to get on with things. It was strange enough to be wasting time on a game like this when she could be studying, but if she was going to do it, she would do it right. Card system, she had this. And if her first task was to check out some trees...well, she'd had stranger homework assignments.

The tree she came to started rambling on about a riddle, and Ra.One mostly ignored it after the first part. Instead she sniffed and flipped her long hair. "Really? You only have two friends? Pathetic."

So not worth her time.

And went about looking for the glasses. And looked, carefully stepping about the immediate area for any signs of what the tree had lost.

"Dude, I can't seem to find them. Sorry, brah." GreenRanger frowned after a few good minutes of searching. "Sure someone will come across them good luck!"

After some crawling around on the grass near the roots of the tree, dotdotdot felt something hard on the ground. She dug out from underneath several layers of leaves a pair of glasses. She hoped these were the ones that she had been searching for, and for a brief second, wondered if all the other trees also wore glasses.

Apparently they were the correct pair because the tree was so excited when dotdotdot returned with them that it tossed her something ... a fragment? She didn't know what it was, but she tucked it into her pants pocket.

Emily Device was left asleep and in her stead, D.Vice was ready and willing to take on the dreams and very likely nightmares that lurked about. The choice of madness was never a choice so much as a calling, but the hat was quite nice. Twirling about in a tattered coat she wondered where she should go now. Alice spoke of cards and D pulled them out with a flourish and shuffled them as something likely important was being explained.

"How fun! We get to collect them? I want a thousand billion and four score," D demanded sternly while the Alice simply ignored her and continued on. The hatter felt quite through with the exchange and ventured toward something shiny and exciting, or presumably so, as it was indicated by a larke golden exclamation point.

"Goodness, what's this?!" She exclaimed , as that felt like the proper way to engage it. Unfortunately for a sign featuring an exclamation, it did not seem very excitable in turn. However, harassing trees seemed like a D.lightful idea!

The first tree had stripes and denied its own silliness, which simply made it even sillier. At its request, D shook it quite hard. In fact, the act of shaking it made her shake it even harder, because it's very easy to get angry when aggresively shaking plantlife, especially such a silly sore. It was fortunate that the tree gave her a shard, or things could have come to a duel, which D was not quite prepared for having ignored that instructions on how to enact such violence.

<Oh dear me...> those words escaped her as she approached what was clearly, all that remained of what used to be a tree.

The ghoul bowed her head and held a moment of silence. Then slowly, she backed away and continued her way along the woods back to where the signpost was. Missing glasses, a confusing (or confused) tree, a very very shy (and hostile) willow, and one that had passed on - that wasn't the most wonderful of information to convey back to the signpost, unfortunately.
