And right she was.
After the turn she could feel it behind her again, snapping at trees with loud, gnashing sounds of it's teeth against each other while under the claws was the breaking of trees and dirt. Like any animal desperate for its next meet it was thrashing its body through any obstacle. n0ms made a huge leap, a tree falling down behind her as she went. "AH!" She cried out as a rock hurled past her head, unearthed by the beast behind her. It was closer now, she could smell it and feel the hot breath on her tail. Her body was becoming fatigued quickly and she forced herself forward with the rest of her strength. Come on, come on! A light ahead of her was drawing her closer and closer and she dove outside of the dark forest, rolling down a dirt hill before coming to a stop. Breathlessly she forced her neck to crane itself back to stare at darkest part of the forest. Over the area she could hear a deep roar shaking the world. There were less trees in this part of the forest and she was still expecting it to attack.
But it didn't.
Slowly she stood, her breath catching up with her. A shiver went through her body and she held her arms close to herself in a comforting embrace. n0ms had barely made it out alive, yet had no one to tell her that they were glad she did. A visible cringe went through her body, forcing it to shiver and she shook her head, turning and marching onward quickly. She needed to walk it off, find a friend, do SOMETHING rather than remain in fear.
After all, she didn't want to dwell on the thought of what other monsters might dwell here if one as large and terrifying as that one. Nothing ever shook her this hard, so why had this?

At first he can no longer feel the Jabberwocky's breath, then the heavy footsteps start to fade. He thinks he's safe for a moment, exhales harshly, but then the footsteps start again. They're something different about them, though. "Like what?" He mistakes it for his own thought, realising moments later that it had been heard with his ears, not his mind. "This way," a familiar voice calls out. Sarah, age fourteen, loudly whispering in a way that had meant they were trying to escape detection. He stumbles, nearly trips over. The instinct is there to follow her - she always knew the safest hiding places. ... It can't be her, though. Sarah can't be here, and she isn't a teenager any more. He keeps running. "Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch" "...what?" Along with a small "System Warning" appearing in front of him, something has changed in the Woods.
The woods shake, and a strange steam, a smoke emits from the branches. You hear loud cracks as the trees part in the distant and terrified voices. "It's coming! It's coming!" Little odds and ends, little pocket watches with feet and rabbits with pocket watches run away, birds with trumpet beaks hop past you. They all say the same thing.
"It's coming!"
It grows silent and the woods are never silent. ...which means it's not a good sign, really. "?" He felt a presence behind him. The only thing he know able to instantly pop-into existence like that, is the Cat Chesire--- "What again Ches-" SNAP. With a loud beep and eerily lowering tune, his PoCard indicates that the bite from whatever that creature it is---has taken 2/3 of his HP. Jabbawocky attacked you for 20 Damage. You have 10 HP left. And Poccky said you'd better start running. Advises his Pocket Card when the creature snarls, exhibiting the perfect, deadly, knife-sharp teeth- SNAP. Which almost game-overing him if not for a quick roll. "I THINK THIS WARRANTS THE USE OF AT LEAST A F-WORD!" He said, started running from the abomination. Negative. The usage of swear words are only permittable in certain conditions. Of which this is not one of them. replied his Card. "OH FOR ALICE'S SAKEEEEE!!!" "It's coming?! Whats coming?!" Konpeito was panicked, caught up in the emotion that overwhelmed the entire forest. Saya had to go further though.. But instead, panic overtook her. She was about to turn and run until a loud sound, a CRACK, sounded behind her.. That crack was bigger than a rabbit's crack. her ears bent low, as she tensed up her shoulders. She could feel somethign breathing, wings fluttering-- possibly as big as the monster in the famine deserts had been, judging from the sounds of it. Saya winced and wished with all of her heart that she wasn't here. But wishing wasn't going to get her anywhere. Unfortunately, it wouldnt get her someplace safer. Reaching that conclusion with trembling hands and a shaky breath, she took a deep one. Was this going to be her last breath? And she turned.. She didnt even want to ask what that thing was-- Whatever ounce of bravery she had, it flew completely out the window. She just needed to run!! The creature still hot on pursuit, occasionally launching its fangs like a snapping turtle against Borg's running form- "I GUESS MAD HATTERS ARE NEVER MEANT TO RUN!?" He said angrily when finding that his costume was...flapping rather annoyingly. Negative. As long as you buttoned it all the way it would not flap-SNAP. Jabbawock did 1 damage to you. When he reaches a fork in the path, he turns left. He picks up a second chance timer before sprinting onwards. Slowly to grab the item might have cost him time that he now needs to make up, so he ignores his aching muscles and tries to move faster. He isn't the only one who speeds up - the Jabberwocky announces his presence with a bellow. The earth-shaking stomps are faster this time. He ducks left just in time to avoid teeth - they sink into a tree, instead. (He hopes it's one of the riddle-trees.) He feels hot, moist breath, but right when he thinks teeth are about to close on him... everything goes black. He finds himself back at the start of the event. She was moon division and it was incredibly hard to make the choice. Saya paused, very briefly, to rush her eyes to the choices. She sighed and decided to pick the second chance timer.
Dying was a very real possibility, after all.

The jabberwocky was catching up. Saya shut her eyes, trying to run faster. It swiped at her, knocking her momentarily off balance. But she flipped upwards, trying to hide behind a tree.
