User ImageName: Trinity Dubois

Nickname: Sugar-Plum. But only from her father.

Age: 17 18 19 20

Birthday: August 27th

Sign: Virgo

Gemstone: Sapphire

Blood Type: O-

Fav. Food: Chicken Florentine

Hated Food: Canned Ravioli

School: Crystal Academy ( For now. )

Hobbies:
Shopping Being the typical rich girl, with a obnoxiously large weekly allowance, shopping is her main hobby. With no real concept of the value of a dollar, she often goes shopping just for the sake of shopping. Cloths, shoes, makeup, generally anything "girly" is were you will find her in the mall. She has several store gold cards that she regularly exercises. She enjoys shop

Horses Trinity had, at one time, 5 ponies in her stable because when her father asked her what she wanted for her birthday she asked for a pony forgetting she'd gotten one the year before. Once her father saw all of those ponies in the stables he made her do something with them, giving her riding lessons and teaching her to groom and care for her pets. Ever since then horses of any kind have been a comfort to her. Except for mucking the stalls. Real ladies don't clean poo.

Charity Trinity has always been active with charity and continues that activity as best she can now that her father has gone away because of his -ahem- problem. These functions have always been important to her as a way to give back to the community. From conceiving of and organizing the Banquet to Fight Hunger to the Marathon to Support Quadriplegics she will usually be found helping out the less fortunate...usually by writing a check, schmoozing, or helping organize things.

Virtues:

Giving Nature: Having come from a family of wealth, she has no problems at all sharing it. Its part of her nature, one of the few values her mother ingrained in her before her passing, that you should always share what you have, because not everyone is as fortunate as you. This is also amplified because she dosn't really understand the value of a dollar, so she has no problem buying that $400 purse for a friend. She just charges on her card and its taken care of. This extends to outside of the monetary given, and will willingly give her time to things she considers important, even if they are not asked for or wanted, in things fashion and personal life advice, she considers her input very important, and will give whatever she thinks will help. Moral support, girl chat, or a spa trip to get your mind off of that jerk who dumped you.

Decorum: Trinity was a very properly raised little lady with all of the etiquette you'd expect from Daddy's Sugar Plum. She knows just how to behave in social situations and can carry herself as if in high society even if she's just in the mall. She is used to being the center of her social world, and conducts herself like the queen bee she sees herself raised to be. She keeps herself to places that one would expect to see a girl of her breeding, and when she does venture out of her "comfort" zone she carries around her an air of sophistication. She is the kind of girl who going to a diner, would eat her chili fries with a fork and knife. If you could get her into such a place.

Innocent: She believes the best from the world and from humanity in general. Though they make mistakes she chooses to believe that everyone is basically good and have just made a bad choice - this does not make them a bad person. She is always quick to forgive a friend any slight because, after all, they didn't mean it. This often puts people at ease, because there is a sense of no judgment around her ( Even though that isn't necessarily true, shes could totally be judging you, she just forgives you your derp moments without a second thought ) and makes it quite easy to befriend her if you can manage to stand her derp moments.

Flaws:

Naive: Trinity's perception of the world has been sheltered from birth. She has no concept of the harsher side of life and will usually find herself saying the wrong thing or asking the wrong question because she truly doesn't understand why everyone did not grow up the way she did. She's also a bit dismissive of people's life concerns because she's never faced any of them for herself. She doesn't understand why you can't afford new shoes all the time. Everyone has money, don't they? If they don't...why don't they just get some more?

Tactless: Trinity is very well meaning but she often says things in such a way that they come across hurtful. She'll stop you in a mall and insult your outfit by telling you those shoes are about two seasons out of fashion and don't go with that outfit. In her mind she's helping you by pointing out your fashionable faux pas. In actuality, though, the words just come out rude, Forget that she will be happy to take you to a store and pick out some proper shoes for the ensemble, she just dosn't get why people are so upset by her friendly advice, she truly just wants to help, even if people don't seem to want it.

Ditzy: When you see her she is likely off in her own world somewhere, prone to daydreams and her own somewhat irregular tracked train of thought. So while you're talking about your worries and cares she's thinking of rainbows and a new pony. She spaces on dates and times and appointments. It's not that she's trying to be a bad friend, or neglectful. It just sort of happens. This also translates over into her school life making it hard to concentrate on lessons.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Pale blue.

Hair: Palest Blonde, long and often with large sausage curls ala Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. The tektek reference below is a good idea of what it should sort of look like.

Face: Trinity has a heart shaped face with high cheek bones. No freckles. Her lips are naturally a pale pink.

User ImageSenshi: Sailor Disneya, Senshi of Fairytales

Challenge: When you wish upon a star

Attacks:

Sailor Scout Attack: Pixie Dust!
Disneya would fling a handful of dust at the enemy/ally. The dust itself is pale golden white, and faintly glowing gold. When a person is under the effects of this attack, their body is sprinkling dust, much like this.

Effect: The person under effect of this attack will float about two or three feet off of the ground. They are otherwise in complete control of their motor functions. they are still subject to the laws of force ( Accept for force applied downward ) so if they were struck/hit in this state, they would drift in whatever direction the force pushes them in. In theory this means if they were close enough to a wall they could push themselves away from it, or grab hold of someone on their team and be moved. They are still fully able to attack and use their own magic. If used on herself, she can move in whatever direction she chose. When it wears off, they float slowly back to the ground.

Range: The dust only has effect for 5 seconds after it leaves her hand, which means if it dosn't come into contact with someone by then, the attack is useless. If she misses, the dust can land on the floor, and if someone promptly steps in it, it will still be viable.

Duration: about 15 seconds, can be used twice per battle.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: . Super Pixie Dust!
Disneya would fling a handful of dust at the enemy/ally. The dust itself is pale golden white, and faintly glowing gold. When a person is under the effects of this attack, their body is sprinkling dust, much like this. When thrown three glowing orbs with little wings can be seen ( Think like Navi, from Zelda ) fly out and swirl around the enemy if contact is made.

Effect: The person under effect of this attack will float about two or three feet off of the ground. They are otherwise in complete controll of their motor functions. they are still subject to the laws of force ( Accept for force applied downward ) so if they were struck/hit in this state, they would drift in whatever direction the force pushes them in. In theory this means if they were close enough to a wall they could push themselves away from it, or grab hold of someone on their team and be moved. They are still fully able to attack and use their own magic. If used on herself, she can move in whatever direction she choses.

Duration: about 25 seconds, can be used twice times per battle.

Eternal Sailor Attack: The Stroke Of Midnight.

Disneya claps her hands, and the sound of a great deep bell, like that you would find in a bell tower, rings out which each clap. To all enemies, it appears to them as if they have suddenly powered down. In reality they have not, and have complete access to their weapons and magic. This effect also extends to people who they know their personal identities. ( So say, if for some reason she were fighting against Opal and Zink, they would appear to eachother to have powered down, but only because they know each others secret identities )

This causes panic, and fear, but other then that has no real effect. If they can figure out whats going on, they can power through it and keep fighting.

Range: This effects anyone who hears the bell toll. about 20 feet, give or take a foot or two depending on the acoustics.

**It should be noted, that the sound is magically enhanced, and does NOT carry over PA systems or any other type of electronic sounds systems. So, someone couldn't record her attack on a video camera and replay it for magical effect whenever they wanted, the magic wouldn't carry over.

**Also, just to double state, this is only an ILLUSION. Trinity, or anyone else wont see you as anything other then your powered up form, unless, as previously stated, you already know someone's secret identity ( Example= Opal / Zink ) Secret Identities cannot be compromised by this attack.
Durration: 1 Minute. Can be used once per battle.

Doppleganger Word Count: 522

It was another cold night, but at least it was cry. Her breath puffed out around her, little clouds that quickly vanished into the night air. For the hundredth time she begrudged how chilly her attire was, but she was at least now learning to deal with it.

It was late, but there were still a few people out and about here and there. Luckily it was October, and so anyone who was sober or just observant mostly only commented about a cute little princess outfit, several girls wondering were they could be found.

It was strange, Trinity had thought her outfit fairly original. It was literally magic, so it brushed wrongly against her sensibilities to think that someone could just buy a duplicate off the rack. As she passed by another couple, she picked up another stray comment, from a pair of girls leaving a halloween party, about how she liked her version so much better. Her version? Clearly princess costumes were popular this year.

With a shake of her head, she turned towards the park, a usual patrolling place. She had met others... mostly Dark Mirror senshi... A few Negaverse officers, even a knight or two. But no white moon senshi. She had still yet to meet another who was supposedly on her "team" so to speak. Maybe it was asking a little much to just happen into one, but her sense of pride wouldn't allow her to go begging for meetings. No, that just wouldn't do. Her father had raised her to make the people come to you, not the other way around. It had only been a few days, not even a week, sense the Senshi Tantalus had put it into her mind to actually get in touch with other senshi.

She strolled down a little dirt path, a faint smile on her lips. She couldn't say that she truly enjoyed the fact that she sparkled with fairly light glitter when she moved, but it was really helpful letting her see the way down dark paths, her pace content to a meandering stroll.

She frowned... the sound of footsteps reaching her ears. Disneya tilted her head, turning to look behind her in one of those elegant half turns that were drilled into you in her Etiquette classess. Nothing... had she been hearing things? Oh well.

She turned, letting her hair slide over her shoulders, sending a shimmer of lights to the gravel below... when she saw... Herself?

It was herself, watching HER from the shadows under the tree. She was almost sure her eyes had been playing tricks on her... but no... there, a dull fleck of movement... as if lifeless specks of dust fell from her in a parody of her own sparkles. The mirror image didn't move. It didn't speak. It just... watched.

It made her blood run cold. The waves of pure malice that rolled off of it were almost a force of its own. It tilted its head, in a movement that Disneya herself had done a thousand times before, a perfect copy.

And it smiled, a cold parody of her own.

Welcome Back: 502

Trinity had been back from her extended tropical vacation for a few weeks... two weeks, five days, and four hours to be exact. And the entire time the young woman had felt the urge to power up, which was horrifying.

Every time she looked at her henshin pen, she saw flashes of the battle with the shades, of her and the Dark Mirror senshi, Tantalus, pulling the shade into the air, glittering with magic, until they were so high up all they had to do was let go her her, and watch the murderous doppelganger fall back to earth.

It had been a rough time, and even harder knowing that if the sweet freckle face hadn't been there, she more then likely wouldn't have won that battle. She never got quite used to the idea of people trying to kill her. So she had hid away in her room, away from her life and her responsibilities, until finally her father was fed up, and did what any rich doting father would do for his trouble teenager.

Pack her and her friends up and ship them off to a place with more beach then true solid ground and let them splash away their problems. Because if you asked Philipe Dubois, there were two things in life that could fix anything. Connections, and a chance of scenery. Which is exactly why he had sent a gaggle of appropriately aged girls with her. None she was truly friends with, but they were daughters of business associates. Even during the midst of a mental and psychological crisis she was expected to make connections.

But she was back, and she couldn't hide from her responsibilities anymore. So she grabbed her pen, and slipped out the servants entrance, pen gripped white knuckled in her hand, and slipped off into the dark. After what felt like forever, waiting for one of the servants, or her father, but more likely her ever vigilant butler/manservant who was more like a second father to her then a paid assistant. She wasn't exactly sure how she would explain sneaking out of the house and off of the grounds in her fluffy kitten slippers and pajamas, holding a weird sparkly pen. Luckily she didn't have to, the home was silent, and she slipped into the cool summer night. A knot she had felt growing sense she picked up the pen eased in her chest, and she took a deep breath.

She was still in the woods around her home, but not exactly on the estate. She knew, from much experience as a child where the cameras ended. Father did not like her to do jumps when she was little, so she would sneak her pony out of the carefully trimmed grounds and jump logs. If the cameras had caught them, she would have been reported to her father immediately, and that just wouldn't do. So she slipped beyond the sight of digital eyes, squared her shoulders, and shouted,

" Disneya Power, MAKE UP! "

After The Nightmare : Wordcount 509

She had been in the tree, god knows how long. She was in her pajamas. It had started raining. She was cold, covered in sap and leaves.... and she was bleeding. She clung to the tree, pressing her face to the bark so hard she could feel the wood biting into her cheek, and sobbed as silently as she could, hoping that the nega was gone. For all she knew he was still there, waiting, under his damn poofy hat and his daggers in hand.

What a jerk. She really hoped she had kicked him right in the dangles, but honestly she hadn't payed enough attention after she had her chance to escape.

Her stomach hurt worse than anything she had ever felt in her whole life. She was positive she was dieing. Oh god, what if her guts were hanging out? She knew the front of her dress was soaked, blood and rain making it a soggy bloody mess.... How long had it been? And hour? Two hours? Five hours? She couldn't tell. So she held on and waited....

The sky, just barely, started to lighten... Not dawn, but like an announcement that dawn would still be here. Disneya bit her lip, her eyes puffy and swollen from sobbing with her face pressed to a tree... It was now or never.

She started to climb down. Down through the branches, scraping her hands and knees and feet that were clad only in tiny slippers designed to only be pressed to skin and soft carpets. Breaking and splitting nails, and finally as she was almost to the bottom, losing her grip and falling the last five feet to the floor, knocking the wind out of there.

She just lay there for a moment, her mouth gasping breathlessly, her abdomen burning and bleeding, her back jarred as if it had forgotten how the bones fit together. She was sure that the Agent was going to come out from around the trees and finish whatever twisted game he had been up to ( Who just stabs a person on first meeting like that? Rude. )

But it never came. And after what felt like another eternity, she hauled herself up, trudging as fast as she could through the woods back to the break in the fence at her home. It struck her just how close to home she was... if she had died, they would have found her in the woods, in her pajamas, bloodied and cold. It would have killed her father.

So she made up her mind... She had to be better... she couldn't just be another missing or dead girl. She had to make sure she came home, or her dad would have no family left. He had already lost his wife, and she would not be the person who would make him lose his daughter.

With new found resolve, she slipped through the fence, and leaved against the chains, taking in a deep breath, and letting herself cry a little bit more before getting inside. She would be stronger.

Well... That Went Well : Wordcount = 1030

Disneya was patrolling. Technically. She had gotten a coffee, probably the first thing she had ever payed for with cash in years. Sure... her last bout had ended horribly, like.... HORRIBLY horribly. She had been stabbed, powered down, and had had to slink back home, bleeding, in her pajamas, and covered in sap and leaves, but her fathers assistant had patched her back up. He was just the best. He hadn't even told her father, and had checked up on her several times to make sure she was okay, letting it go when she had begged him not to ask her any more questions because she couldn't tell him.

She was grateful, but a little confused.

She shook her head and continued her stroll. She wasn't even in places where she normally patrolled, she had wondered into the city, away from the parks and residential areas that surrounded her neighborhood of sprawling homes with long driveways, and now she had somehow made it into a more of a industrial area.

It was dark, so late at night she wasn't certain but it was probably actually early morning. She sipped the last dredges of her late, strolled over to a garbage can, and chucked it in. The sound of the cup hitting the rest of the trash caused a bit of noise. Strange how that sound echoed. Warehouses and stuff were creepy.

She continued to walk and she heard it again. The rustling of rubbish, the clink of a tin can as it rolled across the alley. Disneya paused and narrowed her eyes.

" Hello? You know, creeping is so cliche you might as well just come out. " She felt something. It was chaos, she knew that aura... It didn't feel to strong though. The rustling of trash again.. and a sound that was like someone dragging a length of plastic across the concrete. Like... like a snake.

The sound continued, and the aura got closer, yet she still could not see anyone.

" Ok, do you really want me to kick your butt? " She said with more bravado then she really felt. Whatever sense of confidence she had was quickly fading... what if it was that stab happy whack-a-doo from a few weeks before? She had gotten a little to comfortable around those with chaos auras, the Dark mirror senshi, and she had almost forgotten that technically they were the enemy. But now she had a scar that would remind her forever.

" Can try, little Senshii... but you fail... " Croaked out a very gravelly voice, rough yet somehow childish at the same time.

Oh, now she knew, it was a youma. It felt similar to the youma she had fought the night she had been stabbed. She smirked - her confidence returning for a split second before it emerged from the shadows.

It towered over her, its face a contorted version of a snakes, with ant like mandibles twitching like the were trying to pull everything close to its mouth. Its body was long an serpentine, tapering up to an almost human torso, who's arms ended in large pincers, black like the shell of a beetle. Disneya stood completely still. The thing had over two feet of height on her, and it tilted its head at her perplexed.

Disneya gulped.

The Youma opened its mouth, opening almost as wide as the width of her torso, and rawred, like some type of mix between a lion and a snakes hiss.

Disneya screamed, summoned her magic, and threw it at the monster. The youma, now floating, examined its body with a very bird like head tilt, before turning back to Disneya with another hissing rawr. It reached out its pincer claws, snapping at her like a horrible parody of gimme hands. And then it poped open little fins along the sides of its snake tail, like a moray eel, and started to swim trhough the air.

Disneya stared at it in horror. And then proceeded to run like crazy.

" IT CAN FLY. IT CANT FLY. HOW CAN IT FLYYYYYYYY " her horrified babble bouncing off of the warehouse walls as she is chased by the seven and a half foot tall eel, snake, crab man monster.

The monster swam through the air after her until the magic wore off, and it was returned to the ground. It then slithered after her, back on the ground where its muscled tail could do the work, it quickly gained on her. Disneya let out a yelp, and resorted to the only tactic that had worked in this sort of situation before. She summoned her magic and cast it on herself. Again. Last time she had been fleeing a Negaverse agent. This time something that made her thing of a Godzilla villain.

Disneya looked around, and the only thing she could think of was that she needed to get up high. It could only fly with her magic, so while it was still working on her, she looked up at the tall electrical polls that lined the dark alleyway, and she flew up as high as she could. She only hoped she didn't electrocute herself and die. She flew up as high as she could, over the wires, over the transformer, to the very tippy top of the poll. There her magic ran out, and she held onto that poll for dear life, her bum resting on the crossbeams that the wires were attached to.

The youma slithered up to the poll, looking up at her with what she could only image was its version of a grin, and attempted to coil around it and slither up. For a brief moment Disneya wondered what she would do, it was just going to coil around it and climb up like a tree snake, but the monster gave a yowl of pain, rearing back and attempting to pull long jagged slivers out of its softer fleshy underbelly with its claws.

The monster gave a screech of frustration and started hacking at the wooden poll, but it thankful seemed to have little effect.

Well, it was only just slightly after midnight... and so far this patrol was going just dandy.

Waiting
Word Count = 678

Trinity crossed her arms and grumped a little bit. She was in a section of the large sprawling manor she called home that house the official reception areas and offices for her father and some of the staff that were trusted enough to work from home.

She had gathered a few friends, and they were going to go down to the boat house and hang out on the water. The only problem was, her father had been there earlier today, and he still had the keys. He had announced that he was going for his usual private meeting with his secretary and right hand man - which she always thought was a little weird, by they way, who does that? Like she really cared when they did paperwork or whatever - but it did make it convenient when she needed to find him.

She knew the general rule was to not disrupt him, as the fact they were to not be disturbed was always stressed, but darn it she needed the keys. HE had been the one to stress that maybe she needed to socialize with other girls her age from respectable families.

Trinity had rung the little buzzer to the office after finding the large doors opening to the office locked.... after several more rings to the buzzer... and getting no answer. She could HEAR them, quietly, it was hard to tell through the thick walls and heavy doors.

Sighing, she decided that maybe they were just to deep in paperwork, that they didn't even notice the ringing. So she went to the other door which lead into the conference room.... only to find that one locked as well.

She tapped a foot and walked back over to the other door, and pushed the buzzer one more time, who knows, maybe it would work. She heard something crash, like maybe a vase or lamp, and it caused her brows to furrow.

Were they arguing..? She heard their voices again, muffled and urgent through the door. Wow.... they must be talking some serious business. She knew her father had a temper, considering the prices of the things he kept in his office she couldn't imagine neither of the two of them throwing anything in a fit of anger. But it didn't change the fact she needed those keys. Giving up her lady like decorum she gracelessly banged on the door, raising her voice " UUUUM, I NEED THOSE KEYS PLEASE. " She knew her father wouldn't be pleased with the interruption, nor with her being so blunt and noisy about it.... But the sound for the room died down for a moment. She heard voices again, this time quiet and urgent, with the sound of scraping, and suddenly the door cracked open just barely. Her fathers assistant, Taiki poked his head out from behind the door.

" Sorry for the Delay trinity, Here are the keys you requested ' he held a hand out, keys cupped in his palm, hand wavering slightly. Disneya blinked at the young man, truly not much older then herself, but whom had been takeing care of her like a family member sense he came to work for her father.... His hair was a little disheveled... and by the tremble of his hand and the flush to his face.... he must have been really worked up. She hoped everything was okay, it would really suck if there was some catastrophic tank in her fathers business.

" Thanks hun. " She said, and she would have given him a kiss on the cheek, but as soon as the keys were out of his hand, well... she couldn't exactly say he slammed the door, but he certainly shut it before her thank you was even out of her mouth... Trinitys lips twisted in a slight frown. How rude. Yeah sure she had interrupted, but still.

She shook her head a little bit and turned on her heel, heading for her driver to go spend an evening with friends, hearing the faint muffle of voices pick back up from inside the office as she walked off.

Costumes
Word Count = 563

It was Halloween. Which in itself was just fine, but with school, and patrolling, somehow October had just flown by and left her in the dust.

So here she was, late afternoon, and no costume. She had gone to a couple shops, but they had picked clean, and unless she wanted to be naughty nun or cave-woman there was really nothing left for her to be. So she thought she would go home, and maybe browse for something deliciously vintage. Her home was filled with a multitude of rooms, some of which hadn't even been touched in years. She had memories of her childhood walking around in high-heels that swallowed her up the ankle and old cloths that dragged on the ground, so she had high hopes she could find something... Ooooh, maybe like a flapper girl outfit?

So she started her quest... her quest for FASHION.

She went to the wing of the house that held some of the more formal rooms and "show piece" rooms, antique furniture and bedrooms that looked like magazine spreads more then a functional room. So she opened closets and found mostly just empty garment bags, sometimes an old suit, probably forgotten and discarded by visiting businessmen. Sure it might be a thousand dollar suit, but when you had 50 of them and made a 12 billion a quarter, did you really even bother when you forgot a suit at someones house?

Probably not, such worries were beneath you.

But eventually she found what she was looking for. Oh sure, not EXACTLY what she was looking for. But close enough. A maid costume, and not even like the slutty one that she had scene at the costume store. No this was the real deal, ruffled skirt, little white apron, laced collar, even the little swatch of lace that was used to tie back your hair.

Strange how it wasn't even dusty. It must have been left from when her grandmother had lived here. She didn't know the woman really well, she had passed on when Trinity was very young, but her father had often mentioned how stickler she was for having things her way, and having them perfect. She could imagine that she would make her cleaning staff wear an official uniform.

A little strange that it was kept in such a lush bedroom, with thick posts on the bed, holding up a lofty canopy of silks that draped all the way to the floor, and thick shuttered windows so that without the light the room had been inky dark.

Still, she was joyfull, because at least now she had a costume... and she even had some shoes and knee high stockings that would suit it perfectly. Snatching the hanger from the closet she turned on her heel and took off for her room, she would probably have to call for help to get the back laced up, she though as she examined the silky ties that laced up the spine. Oh well, she knew Taiki was home, she had heard someone futsing around in the kitchen, and considering most of the staff weren't even here, it was a safe bet that a certain purple haired assistant was in there.

So she got mostly into her costume and called holding her cellphone with her shoulder rung her favorite sort of employee who was kind of like family.

Thanksgiving
Word Count = 624

Thanksgiving was a large deal in her home. The house was buffed polished and shined. She had been dodging the help all day. She was glad they were being so thorough, but she had to make it clear her room was off limits. All to soon people would start arriving for the large formal dinner that her father hosted. It would be beautiful. Dazzling. Splendid. Filled with the most expertly crafted thanksgiving dinner that could probably found in a private residence.

It would also be a the most dull night of her life.

She picked out a gown of light blue fabric and simple diamond earrings and necklace. Trinkets and baubles, that were given with little significance and so had little meaning to her.

And all to soon for her liking she was swept up in the steam of guests, acting the part that was more accessory than actual person. She smiled prettily, and let strangers and familiar faces alike kiss her hand and tell her father how lovely his daughter was, how lovely his home, how generous his pockets, and all manner of praise she heard every year. The parade of food that was presented to the long long table was just as much for show as for flavor, and Trinity found herself eating very little, instead doing what she always did.

Waited patiently for it to be over.

And soon enough it was. Taking a deep breath as the final guest left, she turned and looked at her tiny family. Just her father, and his assistant Taiki who was stuck somewhere between mom and brother.

Her normally poised and proper father tugged at the bow tie, loosening it to the point where it lost most of its form. He looked between the two of them and gave an almost boyish grin." Well mes chéris, I think that went well. " He picked up a champagne flute with deft fingers, and drained the last of it and setting the empty glass on the top of a tray of a passing girl with a tray of dishes. He was always in high spirits after a successful dinner party... But as she narrowed her eyes of so slightly... she noticed something.

Her normally poised father was... was he... drunk?

Okay, maybe not drunk. Philipe Duboise never got drunk. But at least Tipsy. He slipped an arm around Taiki's shoulders " You both were magnifique. Now what do you say we all go and actually eat " He said, ruffling taiki's hair and releasing him to link arms with her.

She looked up adoringly between the two men beside her, ones face flush with success and maybe just a bit to much alcohol, ones face puzzled with lips maybe tilted down a little bit as he tried to put his hair to rights, yet at the same time trailing beside them willingly.

This was what she was truly grateful for. Not the big house, or the diamonds around her throat or even the bountiful food that was spread out on the counters, Philipe dismissing a flock of staff who were trying to portion and store all of it.

Her strange little family. She watched her father pick up a stuffed mushroom with his fingers and pop it into his mouth, and watch Taiki pull out a fork from apparently thin air and stab a morsel of lobster. She gave a dismissive shrug and slumped over the counter and stabbed a sweet glazed yam with an over-sized serving fork, and preceded to nibble delicately on it. She could do without everything else... After losing a family member once she never wanted to do it again. They were precious to her and she would hold onto this, protect this, forever.
