Lesath didn’t know what had brought her out tonight. She hadn’t ventured out in quite a while and it hadn’t been her intention at all to venture out tonight…though…here she was. Out and about prowling like a creep. Maybe that was why she was out. Maybe she just wanted…wanted to creep. Wanted to make someone feel as scared and alone and…discombobulated as she felt right now.

Either that or she just wanted to take a walk late at night. That could have been it too.

She sighed, slumping against a tree, rubbing her forehead. She just…wanted things to be resolved with Jett, and wanted to be married. Or engaged…or at least living with the b*****d. She just wanted things to be different, and wanted them to be different right this minute. No excuses.

Oh well. Nothing was ever fixed by whining…even if the whining was only in your head. All that did was cause a lot of unwanted headaches. The Dark Mirror Senshi stood up straight again, glancing around for someone to pick on…hopefully it was a senshi so she could just…attack without caring…even though. Well. She wasn’t supposed to. Maybe.

Then again. Ares wasn’t around to punish her, now was she. So who really cared what the hell she did.

Trinity had spend an even out with her friends. Well, not really her friends. Her social group, as her father would call it. Mostly daughters of other business associates, or other ladies of proper breeding. For the most part she enjoyed it, but about this particular evening she had no illusions. This was a matter of business. An foreign business partner of her Fathers had come in, bringing his eldest daughter, who was maybe a year or two older then her.

Apperantly the young Italian heiress ha obviously thought very little of Trinitys home town, and that just. Well, it just irritated her. Sure, it was no Milan, but it was still a cultural hub, regardless of its minor crime problem. She had taken the woman to one of the highest class restaurant she could think of, sure that even by his standards the money he had had to spend to get them a table last minute was probably ridiculous. And she had just looked at everything as if touching the very china itself would give her some crass American disease.

She had tackled the evening with her usual composure and social grace, but in truth she was quietly watching the clock untill a sufficient amount of time had passed before sending her chauffeur to take the young lady home, making an excuse that she had some private affair to attend in the jewelry store across the street, and that he should return to meet her in two hours.

She was fairly certain her good natured escort did not believe a word of it, but he agreed none the less. As soon as he was out of sight Trinity turned on her heel and wondered the near empty plaza. The lovely sprawling sidewalks venturing off into the park beside it. She had no more desire to deal with people. A nice stroll through the park sounded nice. It was the wee hours of the morning, but she was smack dab in the middle of a higher end shopping area, the little park was sure to be well guarded, and so she didn't even think twice about wondering through a wooded area in the middle of the night.

Starting to relax, the tensions of the night fleeing her under the cool night air she let her eyes roam over the path, looking for maybe a bench on which to relax.

Aha. There was someone else out after all. Lesath watched the girl walking right towards her. But…how to react to such a situation…Would she just go ahead and try to drain some energy? But…why would she want to do that anyway. It was dangerous. Or…maybe she could just…rough the girl up a little? That might be fun too. Oh the possibilities of everything were just too much, and…well. Maybe the idea of talking to someone…or interactions of any kind just seemed tedious now. God when had she gotten so depressed? How dumb.

Ah well.

Lesath paused for a moment, then jumped, landing right in front of the pretty blonde who seemed to be distracted by who knows what. “Good evening there. What’s a pretty girl like you doing all alone in a place like this? Don’t you know that there are bad people out here who would love nothing more than to hurt you?”

Her eyes had just spotted what she was looking for a while down the path, peeking out just from around the gentle curve of the walkway was a old fashioned lamp post, a quaint little park bench nestled below it in the circle of light. She had been so intent on looking for a nice place to settle down to just relax, she didn't even notice the girl in the rather odd attire until the girl literally was suddenly smack dab in front of her.

Trinity's steps faltered, and she slowed to a stop, eying the other blonde girl. Her delicate brows furrowed as she took in the others appearance. Did she have wings on her butt? What an odd headband. Those were her first thoughts before a more pertinent thought glittered across her mind.... Really, what odd fashion accessories.

" I could say the same to you sweetheart, but I'm scarce thirty feet from the shopping district, I would think that at least the confines of the part are safe. " She tilted her head, her eyes once again roaming over the other blonde', who couldn't be much older then herself. " Did one of Genine's famous costume parties just end? " The dark clad girl certainly looked the part, with what Trinity thought was probably a nighty of some sort making up the majority of the girls ensemble, and those boots, she certainly could have walked out of one of the partys half by one of the more naughty girls in her social group.

Lesath rolled her eyes. Ah. From the way she was talking…this girl was some sort of prissy something. Thinking that the shopping district was going to be safe? Who was she kidding? And had she been living under a rock all this time? How dumb could a blonde be.

Hm. Lesath flipped her own blonde hair and just gave a grin. “Yeah. Okay. Costume party…right. And you, did you just get back from…a hot date with your oh so prince charming?” A slightly dark look crossed her face and she sighed. “Seriously, I’m going to kill you if I find out that some punk guy proposed to you and my lame a** boyfriend refuses to propose to me, because that’s crap. Damn like seriously…it’s crap.”

She was going crazy. She had to just be losing her mind. She didn’t even know this girl and yet now she was ready to go over and snap her pretty little neck before she even got any part of the picture that was going on…damn she needed a good day at the spa or something.

Finally she hesitated, drawing out one of the mirror shards from her bracer. You know what…to hell with danger. She just wanted to hurt someone tonight. And this girl was just fine for hurting.

A wraith slid lazily out of the shard, just chilling in the air. Lesath looked at it with mild distaste then nodded towards Trinity. “Go on. Get her.”

Trinity was used to the sort of superior attitude the girl was showing her. It was practically mandatory in the circles she ran in, so it didnt phase her one. She even let what passed as a sympathetic ~Oh yeah, men suck~ face flicker across her profile, prepairing to tell the fellow blonde that she was chronically single, but it quickly disappeared at the first dark visage. She stayed silent for a moment, the delicate hairs on the back of her neck raiseing in alarm. That same sense that told children to run away from angry dogs or rabbits that there was a hawk circleing.

Yeah... She was starting to feel uncomfortable, and acutely away that she was indeed further away from town then she though. She was just about to make a classic look at your watch, notice the time, and excuse yourself maneuver when the girl took something out of her glove. Her pulse jumped, feeling as if a small animal was trapped just under her own skin, as she caught the glimmer of something sharp reflecting the light from the lamp post down the path.

Oh god, she had a blade. A tiny blade but still. And then... What, a ghost...? A GHOST?

She blinked at it for a moment, then as the girl spoke Go on. Get her. He brain snapped out of its frozen shock. And just like any hundereds of horror movies made over the years, a high pitched scream ripped itself free of her throat.

She grabbed the little bauble hanging from her bracelet, looking for all the world like a keychain... And she pepper sprayed the hell out of that damn ghost.

Oh course, pepper spray didn't effect a wraith one lick, Being formless as it was. It passed right through, to the person looking behind it.

She screamed. The girl really screamed. It was like something out of some retarded movie and the prissy blonde was seriously—oh my god what was that.

s**t. s**t it burned.

The pepper spray went right through the wraith and right into Lesath’s face, mouth and eyes getting coated with the stuff. It hurt like a b***h and then some. “God damnit you stupid little…what the ow…”
Her voice rose in anger and then just broke off, hands going over her eyes to try and do something about the pain…but that only made it worse. God she was just on fire. So much fire and it ugh. It was awful. “Stupid wraith…get her…hurry up you idiot. That hurt. Just…get as much energy as you want I don’t even care!”

The wraith hung in the air for a moment, then meandered towards Trinity, passing through the girl about three times before slipping back into its shard. Lesath let out a howl of rage. Three times? Was that all that the stupid little thing was going to do? Jeeze those things were the devil themselves. Well…

She lunged at the girl, eyes red from the pepper spray, a very ugly expression on her face. Maybe if she could just…hit the girl. She would be able to get home and try and wash the stuff off…

Provided she could make it home, that is.

Much to her horror the Wraith followed the girls commands, floating through her. With each pass she felt icy all over, and suddenly she was tired. So tired, like she had been running for miles, like she had been up alright and it was a new day.

And then the thing simply vanished. Or at least that is how it appeared to Trinity. Her ghosts passess had made her stumble, her ankles wobbling with fatigue as she balanced precariously on her stiletto heels. When she looked back up, it was simply gone. But now she had a very angry phychopath letting loose a feral snarl of anger.

Trinity raised Her pepper spray once again, as if to ward off the girl. She pushed the button, and it made a pathetic high pitched buzzing sound, but nothing came out. She had emptied the whole tiny container onto Lesath's face.

The girl lunged for her, and in a panic, she swung her little clutch purse right at attackers head, really little more then a sparkly clutch on the end of a velvet spaghetti strand.

So not only did this girl think it was okay to pepper spray her in the face…now she had the audacity to think she could just hit her over the head with her purse? What did she think this was the beat on Lesath day or something. No ma’am. This was not what was going to happen. Not one little bit.

Lesath reached up, grabbing the purse and tugging it hard, giving a little grin when she felt the strap break. Well. At least that was one worry out of the way. She reached the girl and shoved hard against her, just wanting to hear the thud of her hitting the ground…not that she was able to see anything. Damn. She had to get home. “You stupid…You don’t just pepper spray people in the face. Trashy…Whatever.”

There wasn’t much that she could say. Lesath rubbed at her eyes again, then stumbled a few steps backwards, trying to remember where the nearest mirror was. “You just better be happy that I uh. Already got enough energy or I seriously would have killed you tonight. Make no mistake.”

She took off then, getting to a mirror and slipping inside it, more than eager to just douse her face in water for at least a few days…whatever it took to stop the burning.

Tonight did not go as planned. Not by a long shot…but at least…she didn’t get drained this time? That was a good thing.

The little velvet strap snapped. And ontop of that, not meant to be used a bludgeoning device, the little purse sort of just popped open on contact, the contents ( makeup, cards, ID, standard purse guts ) Spilling out in an ark as Lesath ripped it out of her hands.

The DMC Reached out pushed her, and trinity gasped. Not so much from the contact, but the sudden feeling of vertigo that followed it as her heel slipped into a crack between the stones. Exhausted by what she could only assume as the crazy lady's pet ghost molesting her soul, and pure terror, she was already wobbly on her feet. Add that to a cobblestone path and precarious heels? She toppled with what one could assume was an audible thud, with the accompaniment of the rip of black lace as she skid a few inches on her rump, one of the stones catching the overlay of her skirt.

Trinity scooted back a few inches on the stone, wrenching her heel free of the stones and already feeling the swelling in the ankle starting. At least the pepper spray had worked, and she gulped as the mad-woman threatened her, not for a moment doubting its sincerity. Sure, she was speaking gibberish about energy and some such, but she was some sort of crazy lady with powers over the undead, IT DIDNT NEED TO MAKE SENSE TO BE SCARY.

And just as quickly as she appeared, the moth-woman disappeared, leaving Trinity spralwed in an undignified heap on the cobblestone paths of the park. She breathed in.

She breathed out.

She breathed in....

And burst into tears.
