The Destiny City park was deserted at this time of night, a soft breeze sifting through the air, gently rustling Aurostibite's hair. He tugged on the brim of his hat, pulling it a little lower, and continued on his path, which circled around a cluster of thick trees with low-hanging branches.
He brushed leaves out of his face and glanced through the darkness, his shadow stretching out behind him, boots clicking on the pavement. It was growing late; he would have normally gone back by now, but hadn't quite managed to make himself leave yet.
The patrols had grown longer, purposefully. He wanted more information, needed more.
Aurostibite caught the faint flicker of a power signature and slowed his steps, glancing around. He couldn't see anything at first glance, and it wasn't quite strong enough to determine whether good or bad just yet, but he was still on guard, one of his daggers sliding from his sleeve into his hand.

Disneya was getting better at this senshi thing, not much better, but better. She had been chasing a youma... something that looked very similar to a cotton candy blue bunny with moth wings and antenna. It had big glassy eyes, and seemed innocent enough, like a weak opponent... only it had turned and looked at her, opening what appeared to be a double hinged mouth, screeching and showing off angler fish teeth.
Its ok.
Its not she needed to go to sleep.
Ever.
Disneya had instantly turned on her heels with a squeak and ran off, the rabbit youma thing screeching and with a flutter of wings taking off after her.
She rounded a corner... and the youma, flying much faster than she could ran, rounded a tree and came at her face, monster teeth flashing. With another little girly squeak Disneya smacked it right out of the air. The bunny rabbit gave a squeak much like when someone accidentally steps on a dogs tail, and crashed into the bark of the tree they were beside. On contact with the bark it simply exploded to into dust.
Disneya blinked and tilted her head looking at the tree, marked slightly with a poof of dust... Was that it..? Well that was easy. If she knew fighting the Negaverse was that easy she maybe wouldn't have hidden away from her powered alter ego so long.

He heard, rather than saw, something coming closer, heard the very distinct sounds of someone running, and then a squawk and a bark and a power signature flared, very nearby. Aurostibite twisted around, slipping into the shadows just as something came flying out, a youma hitting one of the trees he'd just been standing by, dust spattering everywhere.
And a senshi had followed it, curiously enough. Aurostibite's eyes narrowed a little, his other dagger sliding free from his sleeve and into the palm of a gloved hand. He stepped around another tree, winding his way towards her, and lifted his chin.
"Are you lost, by chance?" he asked her quietly, head tilted to one side, the wind sending his curls flying across his face.

Disneya was still examening the splatter of dust on the tree, giveing a delicate sneeze when a little puff of it floated into her face. gross.
She had been so focused on the little youma creature, and then what had happened to it, that she hadent really been paying attention to power signatures... not that it really would have altered her to anything. Disneya hadn't really met any negaverse officers. Well... just the one girl Teallite, but the senshi had a strong suspicion that that girl would have been just as unpleasant if she had met her outside of a powered situation. What was it called... resting-b***h-face? And even then, Disneya had been so knew when she met her she didn't really get the feeling of a negaverse aura at the time, because she had no idea what she was doing. Not that she was much better now.
So when someone spoke to her, Disneya replied with a smile, turning to whoever came from the shadows. She felt chaos of some sort, which in itself didn't really worry her. The person she considered her greatest friend was a powered dark mirror senshi... though this didn't exactly feel like mirror chaos.
But as it were, Disneya turned to the newcomer, flashing a friendly smile " Oh no, darling, but thank you! " She brushed a bit of youma dust from the puff of her sleeve, sending a cascade of sparkles. " You know, I thought there were two of those horrid little beasties fluttering around out there, did you happen to see the other one, sugar? " Disneya said, peering about, totally missing the menacing aura coming off of the negaverse officer.

The friendly smile was either an attempt at disarming him, a naive reaction to seeing a Negaverse agent, or maybe even just an automatic reaction, perhaps a simple facet of her personality. Either way, Aurostibite did not return it, his expression flat and giving away nothing of what he was feeling, face carved in stone.
He took a few steps closer, pacing slowly towards her, an advance that, while not overtly threatening, was nevertheless a quiet attempt at intimidation. Aurostibite gave a little nod of understanding that was followed with a disinterested glance at the tree before his gaze went back to the senshi.
"I did," he said quietly, and there was a flash of silver.
"It's right in front of you."
And he swung hard, one of the daggers aimed for her torso, the other lower, for her stomach.

" Oh good - wait what? EEK " Disneya jumped back, but just not quite fast enough, and the dagger crazed against her belly, cutting her fuku and drawing a thin line blood. Her squeak echoed through the trees. She hadn't had anyone really outright attack her before. The daggers had to have been extremely sharp, because disneya didn't even really recognize she had been hurt, just that this whackadoo at lunged at her.
" SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HELL YOU FREAK " Disneya said as she scrambled back, and darted around from behind. Why did her stomach hurt? Oh god she was bleeding. And suddenly disneya didn't sound like a senshi warrior, she sounded like the sheltered teen that she was.
Nope nope nope, she wanted nothing to do with this.
She she followed her instinct and attempted to book it out of there as fast as her legs could carry her.

He flipped one of the blades around and went for her side, ignoring the indignant screech of her voice. The insults were tossed aside; he knew them already, had heard others refer to him as less-than-pleasant things before (most notably Methone, in her attempts at being petty), so it didn't bother him too much.
"Have you not been taught about us?" said Aurostibite quizzically, tilting his head to the side a little. She tried to run - he reached out, one of his gloved hands grasping at her arm to hold her in place.
"Are you some sort of sheltered senshi unfamiliar with the Negaverse?"

He was faster then her. Crap. She had tried to dart away but he caught a grasp of her arms and held her in place
" Well god I only met one of you guys, and while she did attack me, she hit me with a squeaky teddy bear so I thought maybe she was like in the special branch of the negaverse or something. I thought maybe you all were like the Mirror court, but I see I was wrong! "
Her hands were sort of trapped at her side, so she couldn't summon her magic really unless she wanted to just drop it on the ground, so she did the only thing she could think of.
She cocked a knee and aimed a swift kick at his groin, but considering he was so much swifter then her, she didn't really expect it to hit, she just wanted him to let go so she could get away before the whackado stabbed her.

This senshi was either extraordinarily naive or extraordinarily sheltered. Or perhaps it was a combination of both.
Aurostibite gave her an incredulous look, fingers wrapped around one of her arms, above her elbow. "I'm not entirely certain who exactly you met," he said slowly, his irritation growing. "But you probably should rearrange your priorities. Not all of us are as kind as the Dark Mirrors."
Because he was not as kind as Mintaka, as much as she wished him to be. Mintaka was good and kind and beautiful, and he was...well, what he was.
Distracted, he almost missed her lifting her knee - Aurostibite just barely managed to shift so that instead of her kicking him in the groin, it caught him on the side of his leg, hard. Swearing loudly, he staggered and let go, stumbling back and rubbing at his thigh.
"What the hell - "

" I'll keep that in mind... My mistake, I thought chaos was chaos" Disneya said a little breathy with fear, her eyes flocking back and forth between his face and his daggers... before she attempted to neuter him with her knee. As soon as he let go of her, Disneya took in a gulp of air and summoned her attack " PIXIE DUST!! " She said, a fist full of glitter pooling in her hands, which she promptly attempted to smacked onto his chest, engulfing them both in a cloud of golden glitter.
Sailor Scout Attack: Pixie Dust! Disneya would fling a handful of dust at the enemy/ally. The dust itself is pale golden white, and faintly glowing gold. When a person is under the effects of this attack, their body is sprinkling dust, much like this.
Effect: The person under effect of this attack will float about two or three feet off of the ground. They are otherwise in complete control of their motor functions. they are still subject to the laws of force ( Accept for force applied downward ) so if they were struck/hit in this state, they would drift in whatever direction the force pushes them in. In theory this means if they were close enough to a wall they could push themselves away from it, or grab hold of someone on their team and be moved. They are still fully able to attack and use their own magic. If used on herself, she can move in whatever direction she chose. When it wears off, they float slowly back to the ground.
Range: The dust only has effect for 5 seconds after it leaves her hand, which means if it dosn't come into contact with someone by then, the attack is useless. If she misses, the dust can land on the floor, and if someone promptly steps in it, it will still be viable.
Duration: about 15 seconds, can be used twice per battle.
As they both started to lift off of the ground, Aurostibite would find he was no longer bound by the downward force of gravity. Though he was suddenly producing copious amounts of sparkles much like the senshi herself. Disneya, and it being her magic, could fly around like a fairy from a children's book.
As best she could she tried to dark around him, brushing him with her leg as she tried to zoom past - which, if went uncorrected, would send him flipping a** over teakettle untill the magic wore off -

Aurostibite was in the process of getting back to his feet when she yelled out her attack - and he was, sadly, much too slow to actually get away in time. Her hand slammed into his chest, there was a sprinkling, glittering sensation of light and then -
"What the hell - "
He was floating. He was floating in midair, and the senshi had somehow managed to get him when he wasn't ready. Aurostibite made a grab for her, and missed, tumbling and somersaulting through the air in a frankly shameful display of a Negaverse Captain.
"Blast it - "

Disneya flew off as fast as she could, only giving the briefest of glances over her shoulder to see the Negaverse agent slowly cartwheeling through the air. She moved as fast as she could, leaving no footprints as she zipped through the air. She gulped down some air as she started to ark slowly back towards the ground.... she made a decision... whether it was a good one, or a bad one, she wasn't sure yet.
She renewed her magic, dousing herself with her sparkles again, knowing that about now the agent would be floating slowly back down to the ground like a feather.
Disneya kept zooming forward as fast as she could, equal to the speed she could run, and counting the moments, when her speed started to slow, she aimed upwards to an INSANELY huge and large tree, thich branches with copious amounts of leaves. Disneya landed on a thick branch as her magic faded, clinging to the trunk of the tree... and powered down.
She held to the trunk with both arms, her legs wrapped desperately around the branch she sat on, stories above the head of anyone looking for her. Disneya stifled a small whimper, already there was a red line appearing through the soft cotton of her night shirt, and she could tell her arms and legs were already sappy.
She held onto the branches, and stayed silent, hoping that he wouldn't be able to fight her. Because she knew that she was no match for him in a fight.
