Tantalus felt far safer patrolling now than he had in a long time. He was getting better at using his magic, and he was well aware that there was always the safety of Mirrorspace, just a reflection away. And Order auras were the safest to approach - he could feel one, a basic senshi. He felt a sort of responsibility for them, in an odd way. They needed guidance more than anyone, and so rarely got it.
So he picked up his pace, hoping to catch them without his chaotic aura frightening them off. It was a lovely night, in a lovely park, and he had to duck around a few trees to catch up to whoever it was.
"Good evening," he began, smoothly, but then he realized he recognized this particular first-stage. "Disneya!"Parue I'M SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG

Noir Songbird THAT'S ALRIGHT DARLING 8D
So happy with her last outing, and she even felt a little excited with the idea of powering up. Slipping out and transforming into her glittering alter ego was not nearly as stressful as she thought it would be...
Until she felt a chaos aura coming towards her, and she froze. She still wasn't the best at sensing an aura, and the owner of it was practically on her before she decided that jumping into the bushes and hiding like a moron probably wasn't a smart of graceful option. So she stood, composed on her heels as the Dark Mirror senshi rounded the corner, and she heard a familiar voice great her.
She blinked for a moment " Tantalus! " and just like that she devolved from standing there like a regal glittering senshi to a young girl, who legit flung herself at Tantalus in a glomp.
The last time she had seen him, had been during the shade battle, and she was very much aware that if it hadn't been for him she would not have survived that encounter. She hadn't seen him during the great battle what what she could only assume was the doppelganger leader, and afterwards she had squirreled herself away from her powered life, until her father had shipped her off for a "therapeutic" vacation to get her out of whatever funk she was stuck in.
"OHMIGAWDYOURKOIMSOHAPPYIDIDNTKNOWWHATHAPPENEDTOYOU " her words tumbled out of her mouth so fast that they all sort of blurred together. She guess she didn't really realize how absolutely worried about him she had been after the battle with the doppelgangers, until she actually saw him now and knew for certain he was still breathing.

Tantalus laughed delightedly, and took advantage of the physical strength of his Super form to pick her up and spin her around for a moment, before setting her back down. She was laughing and excited, and it made it so much easier for him to be just as happy to see her.
"I'm fine, what about you? It's been so long, I was so worried - people disappear too often, here," he said, and he meant it sincerely. "Where have you been?"
He carefully stepped back from the hug and glanced down, and wanted to laugh again because he was absolutely covered in her shed glitter.

He spun her around which caused her to give a delighted little laugh.
" I have been... ok " She sounded a little hesitant as she said that, like she was unsure. " After the whole thing... from " she kind of waved her hand a little bit " Last time ' was all she could manage to say about the whole shade incident " I kind of wasn't myself. And I couldn't exactly tell my dad " Hey so yeah me and a buddy of mine killed off my psychotic gray twin so that's why I need a little bit of space " so I had to make up some bullpoopie about exams and stress and so he sent me away on a therapeutic vacation with a bunch of airheads that really don't give two flips about me and I just got back "
Once again she was talking a million miles an hour, not really thinking about the fact she probably shouldn't be talking about her civilian life with him, because he was technically not on the same team as her. Her brain just didn't register this, in her mind Tantalus was literally the only person, who every time they met, he had her back.
She gave a little bit of a shrug " I don't know, I was having a hard time keeping all of this separate, and i'm not exactly a good liar, but at the same time it doesn't just go away because i'm not sparkling " And as if mentioning the glitter brought it to her attention, she noticed she had glittered him.
" Oh my " She gave a small giggle, and tried to brush some of the glimmering bits off, but only managed to plant some more on him. And that's when she noticed " Wait a minute... your outfit.... OH! DID YOU POWER UP! " She clapped her hands together excitedly. Now that she thought about it his aura did feel stronger. And he looked more... scarfey. Tantalus frowned, feeling rising concern at her description of how things had gone. Of course she hadn't been okay - he had been lucky, he had Damocles, who was willing to support him and help ensure that he got through all of it alright. Did Disneya have anyone like that? It didn't sound like it.
"I'm just glad you're back," he said. "And that nothing too terrible kept you away." A therapy vacation with idiots, even an oddly long one, was far better than what he had worried or imagined. It had been too easy to wonder if she was one of the victims of the Negaverse's violence, or even of just plain human bad luck. "And now that you're back, I promise that I'll protect you to the very best of my ability." Not that there was all that much he could do - they had no way to contact each other. Unfortunate.
His face lit up when she noticed the change, and he spun around. "That I did! Super Sailor Tantalus, at your service."
