xxxxxPositive Traits
Romantic - Romance is something rare and something he is willing to let go easily. He doesn't fall for the tricks of others, whether it be seduction or some other trick. No. Romance is something that will take awhile to get into him, probably having to come from a friend he has had for years. Once you do get it from him though... Well. Zale will steal you jewels, sneak into your home and steal you away randomly, or even curl around you possessively. Once he falls in love, Zale will not let it go, ever. He will cherish that person. However, be very careful, he may steal you away to Spades. He doesn't like the idea of his beloved being to far from him where he can't protect them. When he is off from a job, also expect him to cook you something nice and actually smile. Smile? Yup. He can do it.
Focused - Give Zale a job and he will be unable to focus on much other than that. Once Zale has a focus on something he doesn't let it go, not until the task he needs to accomplish is done. He becomes a creature that cannot be contacted, touched, or even distracted. Zale does what he needs to, does a damn good job, and doesn't allow anyone to stop him. This is also dangerous, though, for if you give Zale a job and then later decide you rather not have it done you have a long adventure ahead of you. Zale does not easily snap out of his focused state.
xxxxxNeutral Traits
Mercenary - Give him money, and Zale is yours for as long as the contract says. Money means survival, you cannot live without it. Perhaps you could, but not in Spades. Zale does have a conscience, but he shoves it aside to survive. Zale shoves aside any emotions once he is on a job, a true heartless b*****d. He will do anything during the contracts period, taking care of you, removing a threat, stealing something valuable, or other jobs that you need him for. While he does prefer the more violent or sneaky jobs, he will not reject something trivial if you pay him right.
Though, once the contract is up he is a free man, and you'll need to resummon him if you wish to strike up another contract. You'll also need to remember that he has no loyalty to you once this contract is up, and he may one day be standing before you, pointing a knife at your throat.
xxxxxNegative Traits
Built to Survive - Wait? How can that be a bad thing? Because Zale will screw you over, and when you least expect it. He will do anything to survive, other than harm his friends (which he can count on one hand.). He will murder, destroy, steal, anything you can think of. He was raised to hold his survival above anything else, and when you live in Spades there isn't much you can do that isn't unsavory. He does not befriend others easily, therefor it is most likely if you are speaking to him you are in danger, for he is not a man you want to hear from. Zale has absolutely no interest in conversing with normal folk.
He has a certain careful way of living. Due to his job, it's only likely that someone is searching for him. He always makes sure to never dress strangely whenever he goes to the store. He makes sure not to give out his real name to anyone without damn good reason. When he goes to work he slips into clothing you'd never see the natural him wear. For jobs, he wears clothes that hides his skin completely, and a mask. For selling a wig, eye contacts, clothing that hides any noticeable features, and gloves.
He also is careful with what he puts on his body or near, and activities. While this isn't negative, it is an extension to his survival trait. He eats healthy, making sure not to gain much weight or lose much. He doesn't drink much, doesn't ever smoke. Drugs are a no-no. Selling is fine. Consuming? No.
Awkward - When he isn't on a job that graceful movement and snake-like existence seems to fade rapidly. Every day life becomes awkward for him. Of course, he can easily blend in, as he'll need to be able to for his jobs, but when he lowers the act and tries to relax around his friends he often becomes intensely awkward. He doesn't know how to be normal. Most of his life is devoted to blending in, to doing what he has to or risk death, so relaxation is often foreign to him. He can creep others out with the way he tends to stare at them, attempting to figure out their emotions as if their books. Socializing just isn't his thing. He's made to kill, steal, sell, and work. If someone were to order him to socialize, then he'll be able to do it easily. However, when nothing is limiting him... he just doesn't know how to relax.

xxxxxFaction Opinion: Having been hatched and raised in Spades, it is his home and always will be recognized as such. No matter if he was cast out of Spades, he would still view it as his home. However, he is not blind. He knows exactly how cruel, malicious, and violent most of the residents are. He'd never raise a child there, not unless he was forced too, and even then he most likely would murder the child before giving it chance to live the life he had. Spades is a cruel place, twisted and often ringing with the madness of its leader, but it is home. Zale does not know how to live any other way. He cannot even imagine how one could live in the Hearts, Diamonds, or Clubs faction. Perhaps Hearts is less confusing to him, but he would probably be dumbfounded in Clubs. He views Spades as a monster that needs to be carefully treaded on, but the monster is his only friend, a friend that would probably murder him if he didn't serve it loyally.
xxxxxAspirations: To simply survive. (Secretly to collect enough birds to fill his little secret room for them, Chirp!)
xxxxxFears: He is frightened of being alone. Even if his life is basically revolved around being alone. This fear that he doesn't like to share is something many won't notice in him, however, it's there. His money is spent lifting up to the top, and this gains him "friends" in a way. Even if none of them really know him. Even if they are mostly just shallow beings. He needs some sort of socialization, even though he is the type merely to sit back silently and not join in the conversation, instead simply watching. Perhaps it is a way for him to validate that he is still a person. Either way, he is frightened of the day when he is truly alone, of when there isn't some voice to distract his thoughts and remind he that he is still a man.

xxxxxSkin tone: Slightly tan.
xxxxxPalette: Well, I suspect colors a Sceptile has. Buttttt, I also love these colors: One, Two, Three
xxxxxClothing: I'd like if the art he had on his cert was his normal attire. He likes Kimono's a lot. Design is anything you decide, as well as colors.

✦ Egg: Little Zale was ditched in the Spades gardens. He did not have a mother or father around, and if he did they felt it was perfectly acceptable to ditch a tiny little Treecko egg in the most dangerous faction. A man stumbled upon his egg, but didn't claim the egg right away. Instead, this man, named Sully, set up a warm blankets around the egg and stored it by a bush.
During the night, though, the egg rolled out of its home because of hard winds and nearby animals pushing it. ✦ Infant: When it hatched it was found and taken in by Sully, for real this time. Sully named the boy that emerged Zale, and ordered him never to leave the room that Sully lived in, ever. If he did, he'd be force to train Zale in a career he didn't find suitable or get rid of him... However, noticing that Zale was both socially awkward and timid Sully began to sneak Zale out at times.
Zale has met a few boys, sneaking out with Sully occasionally. He met Malo, a boy he quickly became friends with. Still, he realized quickly he'd be unable to meet his friend much due to his circumstances. However, one day Zale became noticed by others, having knocked over a cake inside the mansion Zale and Sully shared with several other Spade members. This event not only made the others aware of Zale's existence, but also started training.
Zale ended up having a breakdown, recoiling into himself as he trained. He became smart and fast, yes, but his sanity began to slip. He shoved away all his friends, believing it was for their best. He wanted to protect them. However, this only caused his sanity to waver, collapsing into depression at the realization that he was becoming a monster. Spades monster. Sully had been distancing himself from Zale, believing that being a proper father figure would only weaken Zale, however as he watched Zale crumble and break he realized that the boy needed someone, just one person. So, he stepped up and decided to be a proper father, but still train the boy. Zale seems to be standing back up now. ✦ Teenager: Zale has become hardened and cold. He's far too mature for his age and focuses entirely on training and his missions. Romance, friendships, and communication is not important to him anymore. As a result he's become socially awkward, unable to really understand how to communicate when it isn't required for a job. He's perfectly fine socializing when it's part of a job, but when he isn't working he forgets how to act and cannot hide behind that mask he's created.
Zale has been captured by a new assassin belonging to the Queen.... How this happened Zale isn't quite sure, but he knows this isn't good. He's spent weeks within the cell, then months, and eventually broke down completely. His strong, silent, and distant personality becoming shattered, broken, insane, and frightened. With the help of Atticus and Malo he may be able to break free....

✖: An enemy! Back up!
✚: Friend. Somehow, he made one.
❖: Acquaintance.
❤: In love. SHUDDUP. HE CAN LOVE, TOO.
✚ Sully: A Wigglytuff that took little Zale in as an egg. The two have bonded more, and are as close as any son and father should be. Sully is Zale's best friend at this point.
✚ Malo: First person other than Sully to become Zale's friend, Malo and Zale are actually closer than Zale likes to admit. Malo irritates Zale half the time but he actually doesn't seem to mind it too much.
✚ Briar: A Leafeon he met during the first Meta ever. He stood up for Zale when he was an infant. This has left Zale with liking Briar ever since.
✚ Amias: A Baltoy he met as a child while lost. Zale seems to like Amias mostly because the other is quiet and calm. It's relaxing.
✚ Atticus: Hm. He likes Atticus so far. He gave Zale a feather when Zale was a child.
❖ Firefly: The Flareon doesn't really leave an impression, but Zale has promised to help him if he ever were to need it.
❖ Logan: Harassed by Zale as a child, Logan and Zale do not talk now. Zale has no intention to, either.
❖ Isaac: A Vaporeon raised by Sully's friend, Henrik. He's annoying and loud, but Zale doesn't mind him too much.
✖ Bigsby: Zale never liked him as an infant, and he never had a chance to change how he feels.

Egg:
✚ You Could Have Saved Me - A solo. Sully finds Zale's egg and stores it away for later.
Infant:
✖ Young Trouble! - Zale gets lost from Sully and meets children his own age.
✖ Mischief Managed - Separated from Sully for a time being, Zale stumbles upon a group of kids his own age in Hearts.
✚ Thanks for Pranks - Sully let him go out and play in Hearts while he did some grown up things, so Zale wandered off on his own. There he bumps into Malo, again! Male becomes his first friend other than Sully, and gives Zale his first presents from a friend, two puppets. One a frog, one a dog.
✚ Now They Know of Me - After the events of Zale knocking over a cake inside the mansion and becoming noticed, Sully has taken Zale aside to tell him what must be done, and how his life will begin to change. This is the moment where Zale's life changes completely. (( This takes place officially after the contest prompt entry that won Zale, and is a huge marker of when he becomes the Zale we'll know later. ))
✚ Acceptance - The childlike Zale has officially died by this time. This solo marks the day he gives into the man he will later become, killing the innocent child he was
✚ Don't Come Any Closer! - Zale is noticing he's becoming a monster, or so he believes. He shoves his best friend, Malo, away from him in his desperate attempt to protect the Litwick from himself. Malo runs away, and Zale becomes more broken.
✚ I Shouldn't Be Doing This - Amias and Zale meet once more, however Zale has changed. Amias is looking for another rock friend, and Zale agrees to help him find another. It is rare for Zale to spend time with another infant at this period, however Amias is different, for he belongs to Spades, therefor he knows of the danger of a Spades delegate.
✚ Festival Time! - There is a festival in Clubs, and Zale is dropped off there by Sully to have free time. Zale, unhappy to be there and worrying he may bump into previous friends, trudges through with a lowered head, stopped by Skyler to play a game, and bumped into by Briar, who was someone he did not want to see, Briar being a friend he was trying to protect like Malo.
✚ What Are You....? - Zale meets Atticus, a boy who grosses him out when he plays with a dead animal. Somehow, the two manage to strike a conversation. Zale tells Atticus of his desire for a feather and the other gets him one in exchange of a knife Zale hands to him. This begins a quiet friendship.
✚ There's A Cap For That - Zale is sent to retrieve a custom made gun. He stumbles upon the owners son, Skyler, who is confused and makes a gun out of tacs and other household objects and hands it to Zale. Not trusting this but deciding to go along with it, Zale heads back home.
✚ What The Actual s**t?! - Returning with the gun, a fuming Sully rampages throughout Skyler and his fathers store before bailing out the two from an angry rent collector. Zale realizes he needs to trust his gut more.
Teenager:
✚ Little Man, You're Nothing Like Me - Zale meets Rapael, who actually manages to trick Zale and knock him unconscious. This is only part one.
✖ Bird in the Hand - Captured by Raphael, he's been tossed within the Queens dungeon where he's been rotting for awhile. He snaps mentally and starts to become hopeless, empty, and willing to die until Malo arrives and tries to bring some life back into Zale and organize a way of escape for the boy involving Atticus.
